Chapter 47: The killer
Leo crept closer to the warehouse, his senses on high alert. He could hear the sound of voices inside, but they were muffled. He carefully made his way to the entrance, peeking inside to see Mira standing face-to-face with Venom.
Venom's eyes sparkled with amusement as she gazed at Mira. "So, Mira, are you ready to play your part?"
Mira's eyes flickered to the side, her gaze meeting Leo's for a brief moment. She knew she had to keep playing it cool, not revealing Leo's presence as she sensed him close by .
Leo's eyes locked onto Venom, his face twisted in anger. He had been searching for her for so long, and now she was right in front of him.
Without making a sound, Leo slipped inside the warehouse, his eyes fixed on Venom. Mira's heart skipped a beat as she sensed his presence, but she didn't react.
Venom's smile grew wider. "Let's get started, shall we?"
The air was thick with tension as Leo moved closer, his eyes burning with a desire for revenge. Mira knew she had to keep Venom occupied, to give Leo the chance to get closer.
"What's the plan, Venom?" Mira asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
Venom's laughter echoed through the warehouse once more. "Oh, Mira. You're so eager to know. Let's just say... it's going to be a show you'll never forget."
