Chapter 77 - the unexpected visitor

Mira's uncle made his way to the door, his mind still reeling from the revelations in the leather-bound book. He opened the door to find a mysterious woman with piercing eyes and a cold smile.

"Can I help you?" Mira's uncle asked, trying to hide his unease.

The woman's smile grew wider. "I'm looking for something," she said, her voice low and menacing. "Something that holds a lot."

Mira's uncle's instincts screamed warning. "I don't know what you're talking about," he said, trying to keep his voice steady.

The woman's eyes seemed to bore into his soul. "Don't play games with me," she hissed. "I know it's here. And I'll do whatever it takes to get it."

Before Mira's uncle could react, the woman pushed him inside and slammed the door shut. A chill ran down his spine as he realized he was in grave danger.

The woman's eyes locked onto the leather-bound book, still open on the table. She strode towards it, her movements swift and deadly. Mira's uncle tried to intervene, but it was too late. The woman grabbed the book and turned to him, a cruel smile spreading across her face.

"You shouldn't have gotten involved," she said, her voice dripping with malice.

With a swift motion, she pulled out a lighter and lit the curtains on fire. The flames spread quickly, engulfing the room. Mira's uncle tried to escape, but the woman was too strong. She overpowered him, and he fell to the ground, unconscious.

The last thing he saw was the woman's face, her eyes gleaming with a sinister light, before everything went black. The house was ablaze, and Mira's uncle was at the mercy of the mysterious woman.
