Desire looked at the empty hallway after Dylan left her some minutes ago and his voice still rang in her head
"This will be your punishment anytime you laugh" he said after leaving her. She only had a question in her head and she needs answer. Why? Why must she stop smiling? Why is she the reason to stop smiling?
"You finally understand" she heard Blade's voice and she looked at him "your smile. It so annoying even me looking at the smile felt like hell to me. I wish I could rip it off the first day I met you. The first smile you showed me. The annoying smile I saw that smile is the root of everything" he said and she looked at him
"My smile? The smile I get that I love so much? The smile everyone says they cherished and love? That smile is the root of everything? That smile is what you guys wanna use to ruin me? What was my offense?" She asked and a tear fell off her cheek
"That you are an acquaintance" he said
"But what did I do wrong? This smile has always been my everything. This smile that gives me the courage to move on. That smile you guys asked me to stop?" She asked and he laughed coldly
"Courage? Courage you say? That smile that gives you courage ruin everything for us. That smile" he said and she held his hand
"How was I an acquaintance?" She asked and he looked at her
"Are you naive? Or are you pretending to be one?" He asked and she furrowed her brows. That question, this is the second time she's hearing that question. What exactly did she do wrong?
"Please tell me. I am confused" she said
"That's it. What we want exactly. Your confusion" he said and he left her standing looking so lost
"I need answers" she said and she made her way to her room in search of her phone
"Ms. Desire?" She heard a voice and she looked back
"Ms.? " She asked and the maid nod
"From now on, the master already announced you aren't a maid and you should be taken care of" she said and Desire looked at her
"Have you seen my phone?" She asked and the maid kept quiet "I asked a question" she said but the maid didn't give her any answers
"What is your name?" She asked
"Helen" she replied
"Helen. What is happening?" And asked
"I am sorry ma'am but I can't give you any information unless it's about your foods and clothings" she said and Desire sat on the bed
"What went wrong? What changed?" She asked herself then she closed her eyes then the door opened revealing the butler
"Ms. Desire" he called and she looked at him "from now on, you aren't permitted to leave the premises, and your phone has been confisticated" he said and stand up
"Why?" She asked
"That is the boss's order" he said and with that he left the room with only Desire and Helen
"Now I need answers to this strange happenings" she said and sighed
