Chapter 6 - 006 How Time Flies By

Yamazaki Manor, Year 2311.

Narumi.

Lounging atop the third balcony of Seiki's latest manor, which resided on Chiba Prefecture's southwest coast, Narumi was accompanied by two of her close friends, Yuki and Hahari. And as she looked off into the surrounding ocean, as well as the few acres of land that they owned, Narumi couldn't help but sigh.

'This house is way too damn big.'

After putting Hokkaido behind her, Narumi honestly had no idea what to do. The only reason that she even left their old condo each day was for college, and even then she only did that because Seiki had suggested it.

But that was enough.

Because that's where she met Yuki Yoshida and Hahari Hanazono.

Yuki [img]

Unfortunate name aside, Yuki was a blunt, headstrong woman... which contrasted wonderfully with her Quirk, Cloud Body, giving her the fluffiest figure imaginable. Much like Seiki, Yuki was a self made woman, building a fashion company from the ground up, aptly named Yoshida. And thanks to her Quirk, Yuki could actually fly... unfair.

Hahari [img]

Hahari, on the other hand, was carefree and full of love, if a bit ditzy. She also absolutely adored anything or anyone that was remotely cute, especially her daughter. And Hahari's Quirk, Blossom, gave her perfect skin, figure, hair and everything, all without her even having to try... also unfair.

And these last few years, both of them had slowly whittled their way into Narumi's heart.

"Look at this!" Hahari squealed, holding her phone up to Narumi's face. "Hakari's first steps! Isn't the cute way she stumbles just absolutely adorable...!"

Narumi let out a soft sigh. "It is, Hari. It was also adorable the first 100 times you showed it to me."

Hakari was 10, just a few months younger than Seiki.

That video was nearly 9 years old.

"First steps..." Yuki grumbled. "My brat still hasn't even made her first legs."

That was one of the unfortunate downsides to Yuki's Quirk. She had the body of a cloud, and even though she could sculpt herself, she was normally shaped like a cloud. That meant that Yuki's luscious hips, thighs, ass and tits– that her entire figure was constantly being held together by Yuki's own mental fortitude. She looked absolutely stunning, and looked damn fine in those pantsuits she loved to wear, but Narumi would never have the willpower for something like that.

And Yuki's daughter, Masami, seemingly couldn't be bothered, just sticking to her 'base form.' A cloud.

"Would you like some more wine, Narumi-sama and friends?" Souka asked, the lizardgirl appearing just when they needed more wine. One of Seiki's many... maids.

Souka [img]

"Thank you, Souka."

"Of course, Narumi-sama," Souka replied, with just a hint of fanaticism in her tone.

After topping them all off, Souka left.

"Just how many maids do you even have?" Yuki asked. A fair question, given that Yuki's been served by a different woman almost every single visit.

"It's a big house," Narumi replied.

Narumi had been more than fine cleaning and cooking at their old apartment in Hokkaido, and the same thing went for their condo at the edge of Saitama, Tokyo... but this place was far too vast for her to clean on her own, so she just left it to the dozen or so maids that Seiki's recruited over the years.

She really didn't need to live in a house this big.

But with her son starting what might as well be a cult, it was necessary.

*

First, there was Rinka.

Rinka [img]

The sight was almost comical– her little boy had strutted into their old condo, with a 216cm -7ft1- tall wolfgirl walking in right behind him. With gray/white fur, blood red sclera, sharp claws, and vicious teeth lining the edge of her snout, she looked pretty intimidating... or rather, she would've looked intimidating. Unfortunately for the wolfgirl, she was absolutely covered in bandages, walking with a limp, and staring at the ground beneath Seiki's feet, as if she was afraid to offend him just by looking up.

If anything, she looked like a kicked puppy.

"Um... who is this, exactly?" Narumi had asked.

Sticking out his hand, her little Seiki had simply replied, "Watch the last 3 hours, mom."

To which Narumi's blood went cold.

She was Rinka Wolfe, better known as Deathclaw.

An A-rank villain that had slaughtered a dozen different heroes, before being taken down by both Edgeshot and Endeavor. And the final fight of her career... Rinka not even stopping once as she was gouged out by Edgeshot's needle-thin body, or as she was burned alive by Endeavor's flames. Deathclaw was one of the most brutal, vicious villains in Japan's recent history... a history that had never happened.

And looking at just how tame the current Rinka was, Narumi understood.

With Save & Load, her little boy could bring people under his banner, saying just the right things at just the right time to garner their loyalty. Even if what Rinka had yet to do was unsettling... Narumi knew that she'd be safer with Rinka around. Even if everyone Seiki remotely cared about was technically immortal thanks to Save & Load, it was better to have powerful allies then not.

Then 8 months later, her little Seiki brought home Konan, or Razor.

Konan [img]

The poor purple-haired girl had been living on the streets, just a few years older than Seiki. Konan was a sweet girl, if a bit quiet– the only thing she needed was someone to be there for her, someone to rely on, and she was happy. She reminded Narumi of herself so much it almost hurt. The only reason Konan even turned to villainy originally was because some thugs saw the true potential of her Quirk, Origami Body, and picked her off the street, abusing the girl's innate sense of loyalty... thankfully, that had never truly happened either.

Now Konan's unwavering loyalty laid with Seiki.

Then Seiki recruited Azula, also known as Firestarter, who was somehow even crazier than Rinka.

Azula [img]

Azula Onozaki was an absolute psychopath who wanted to fight Endeavor to the death, the Hero who sent her father to Tartarus. Azula couldn't be reasoned with in any capacity... but she also worshiped strength to a fanatical degree. Since to Azula, her father, Firelord, was the 'strongest,' and strength was all that mattered– a lesson he had repeatedly beaten into his daughter over the years. That was why Seiki was able to recruit her the exact same way that he recruited Rinka.

And after Seiki pummeled Azula into the ground without even breaking a sweat, all while revealing just enough of his Quirk, Azula's crazy turned downright fanatical. The little pyromaniac now saw her son as something akin to a god.

...Well, as long as she wasn't a threat to her son, Narumi was willing to look the other way.

Then there was D'Vorah, better known as Locust. D'Vorah had yellow plated skin, razor sharp teeth, giant pincers and wings growing out of her back, and a few other mutations that people might find unsettling. Now Narumi wasn't one to discriminate, but with D'Vorah's Quirk, Bug Generation, letting her excrete bugs from any of her orifices, or even just letting them crawl out of her skin... even she was little creeped out. Not to mention all the horrific ways that D'Vorah would've killed people. Just watching those news broadcasts through her Quirk made Narumi shudder.

D'Vorah [img]

All it took to sway her to Seiki's side was for him to say that she was beautiful, and mean it.

Then Seiki somehow recruited Inque of all people. Inque! Narumi didn't even need to view her son's past to know that name, the international liquid assassin being plenty famous already. And while Inque didn't have a 'defining moment' that Seiki could go back and prevent, her little boy was still 'the greatest prophet in the world.'

Inque [img]

Narumi didn't know exactly what kind of deal her little Sei-chan made with Inque, but that was only because she hadn't asked. There really wasn't any reason to, when the woman in question was hardly ever around.

And then there were the maids.

Seiki eventually got the bright idea that he didn't need to recruit villains, no, he could just recruit anyone that happened to be in dire straits. These last few years, Seiki's managed to recruited 14 different women, 8 of them with Mutant Quirks, 5 with 'weak' Quirks, and 1 Quirkless. And now they all worshiped the ground she and Seiki walked on.

At one point, Narumi had been renting 8 different apartments in the same complex just to house them all. She wasn't complaining, especially when Seiki was the one who made all of their money... but Narumi still had to put her foot down. She had nothing against her son recruiting people for personal support/protection (that all just so happened to be women, apparently), but the way that he was housing his 'cult' was far too disjointed for her tastes.

That was what led to Seiki purchasing a luxurious 20 bed/12 bath manor on the coast, one that could fit all of them and more.

And even if she found the entire scenario ridiculous... Narumi now had over a dozen different women that were willing to serve her every whim. If she wanted a massage, a home cooked meal, or anything at all, she could have it in an instant. All in all, Narumi didn't really have a reason to complain, much less a reason to worry.

'And even if Seiki IS starting a cult, what's the harm, really?' Narumi mused internally. 'And while I do wish that he wouldn't push himself so hard... I already know that that's an argument I'll never win.'

"Where is little Sei-chan, anyway? He's here, right?" Hahari asked.

Narumi huffed. "Knowing him, he's probably working out..."

*

Seiki.

If you stuck to aerobic exercises, you can start working out at the age of 5, but you can only start serious strength training at the age of 8.

Or at least, that had been the case before the Dawn of Quirks.

Seiki's Quirk didn't offer any sort of strength enhancement, but it was still a Quirk. Sure, Save & Load was completely mental, and the amount of energy it costed him to activate it was so little that it might as well be nothing, but his body still had to adapt to hold it. Everyone with a Quirk needed surplus vitality, stamina, and energy just to maintain them. Hell, even Quirkless people benefited from this trait, since Quirk or not, everyone's bodies prepared them for one in advance– there was a reason that most Quirks didn't manifest before the age of 4.

Baseline humans were a thing of the past.

This led Seiki to yet another unpleasant realization– the HPSC had been holding him back.

"Hup!" Seiki grunted, lowering the 225kg bar to his chest and raising it again.

"Hup!" He raised and lowered it again.

"Hup!" After 28 reps, Seiki's arms were starting to shake. He lowered it one more time, before quickly raising it back up and setting it on the rack.

"Hah, hah," Seiki panted, sitting up and wiping the sweat out of his eyes.

Seiki was just over 11 years old physically, but he was already far stronger than he had been the first time around. While mastering combat, espionage, and multiple different languages certainly hadn't been a waste of his time, Seiki realized that HPSC had still been limiting his strength, unintentionally or not. The only real physical improvement that he ever did under the Commission's guidance was endurance training, so even if the first Seiki had been in decent shape, he had never really been all that powerful.

But now, Seiki could benchpress 225kg -500lbs-, deadlift 280kg -620lbs-, and he stood at an even 160cm -5ft3-.

To think that he was only 11 years old.

Seiki was slowly but surely becoming an absolute monster, and he couldn't be happier about it.

And to top it all off, he recently made a major breakthrough with his Quirk.

Save4.

Hiroshi's Quirk, Mine, let him 'Save' five objects and then 'Load' them into his hand, so Seiki always sort of expected to cap out at five saves. However, Seiki had never been quite sure if that meant he'd have 5 saves total, or if he'd have 5 hot-saves. It had taken him 2 years to unlock Save2, and 6 years to unlock Save3 (and that wasn't even counting all of the double-dipping that he did), so after 14 subjective years, Seiki had started to consider it a lost cause... but his life was just full of surprises.

And as of last year, Seiki regained permanent access to yet another Save.

Save3.

Closing off that timeline for good still hurt to think about... but his mom was right.

He shouldn't dwell on the past, especially one that would never come to be.

"So boss, we pickin up another chick for the harem tonight?" Rinka asked with a grin.

Standing off to the side was Rinka, his first recruit. She was a bit taller now at 219cm -7ft3-, but the real difference was her scars. Rinka was now more scar then girl, absolutely covered in the remnants of her constant fights against him. Normally, Seiki wouldn't do such a thing, especially when he's spent years of effort cultivating her loyalty, but Rinka loved it. She loved that she was constantly marked by her superior, by her 'boss.'

Every scar just made her more excited for the next fight.

"It's not a harem..." Seiki muttered in response, not that he was willing to die on that hill.

And in his mind, it really wasn't. In fact, Seiki didn't even mean to recruit only girls– at least not at first. Rinka just so happened to be the first Villain that caught his attention, and was also relatively close to their condo at the time. As for Konan, she was just too good to pass up... and after that, the horny teenager part of his brain thought, 'eh, why not?'

So far, it seemed to have been a pretty good decision.

"But we are going out, right?" Rinka asked, clearly itching for a fight of some kind.

'What time is it...?' Seiki wondered, checking his phone as he ignored the wolfgirl entirely. 'Huh, 10PM already.'

He also had a few missed texts from his mom.

BestMom<3: Hanging w Yuki & Hahari, be back tmr

BestMom<3: Dvorah left w me

BestMom<3: Love u sweetie, & make sure to stay safe recruiting

BestMom<3: And dont overwork yourself!!!

Posted 8:04pm

Seiki couldn't help but grimace. 'Yuki...' he wasn't so petty as to blame Yuki Yoshida for her birth name, but it still tasted like ash in his mouth.

He swore that the world was laughing at him with that one.

Sei-chan: Love u too mom

Posted 10:22pm

"Fine," Seiki sighed, to which Rinka pumped her fist. "Just let me shower first."

Then Seiki gently grabbed the slip of paper tucked into his collar, giving it a light squeeze.

"Konan, go grab Azula. We're heading out."
