Chapter 1 - Born Again To Burn

This story is purely fictional and contains BL elements. If you are uncomfortable with this genre, please avoid reading 🥺.

Thank you 😊

Now, let's begin the story—

A girl was tied to a chair. Her face was covered in blood, and her clothes were torn in places. Suddenly, a boy entered the room.

Divyan – "Mihi, please get up! We have to get out of here."

She heard her name and slowly opened her eyes. Her face was completely bruised, but those brown eyes… they were still as beautiful as ever.

Mihi – "Divyan bhai… you… you shouldn't be here. Please 🥺… go before they hurt you too."

Divyan – "No, Mihi. I can't leave you alone. You're coming with me."

Mihi – "I'm sorry, bhai… I ruined everything. I hurt you the most… please 🥺 forgive me."

As they spoke, Divyan untied her ropes. He lifted her in his arms and started to leave.

But then, two people appeared — a boy and a girl, holding hands.

Girl – "My dear sister… do you really think you can walk out of here alive? You're going straight to heaven, right, Raghav?"

Raghav – "Naina… you're so cruel to your sister. Torturing her for 15 days… why not just kill her in one go?"

Hearing this, Mihi's heart filled with regret. Why hadn't she listened to her brother before?

Meanwhile, anger blazed in Divyan's eyes. He put Mihi down and punched Raghav hard. Raghav fell straight to the ground.

Divyan – "This is all because of you… whether I live or die, I'll kill you first!"

But just as Divyan was about to hit him again, someone struck him from behind with an iron rod. Divyan clutched his head and collapsed.

Mihi (screaming) – "Bhai!"

Four more people walked in. Among them were Mihi's step-uncle and aunt, Raghav's mother — the one Raghav loved deeply but who never loved him back — and her brother's biggest business rival.

They had all joined hands to destroy her life. She had been so foolish to trust them.

Raghav – "Take this boy away and make sure his fate is so horrible that even death won't forget it."

The sixth man laughed wickedly, "Why do it in private? Let's do it in front of her. So she can watch and regret trusting us. That would be the real lesson."

Mihi (pleading) – "No… please 🥺… let him go. You got what you wanted — both his and my brother's property is in your name now. Kill me if you want, but let him go."

They all burst into cruel laughter at her begging.

Naina – "Oh dear sister… don't worry. I'll free you from this body too."

She walked closer and stabbed Mihi in the stomach. A sharp cry escaped Mihi's lips as blood poured out.

Aunt (with a cold smile) – "You're so foolish, Mihi Maheshwari. You trusted us over your own people. Do you even know what we did to your brother, Vivaan Maheshwari? We staged an accident… and ended his life."

Uncle (laughing) – "And those two little birds… remember them? They cried for mercy too, but I didn't spare them either. Want to see?"

He showed her a video on his phone. Mihi watched helplessly as her world shattered before her eyes.

Naina – "Enough talking. Finish the job and let's leave. And you, Mihi… your brother was so powerful yet couldn't save anyone. Do you know why? Because you never trusted him."

Mihi's eyes burned with rage, but it was too late. Everything was over. Her breath grew heavy. Everyone left except Naina and Raghav.

Raghav – "Naina baby, why are we still here?"

Naina – "Because, baby… I want her to see that you love me… not her."

She kissed Raghav passionately right in front of Mihi. Raghav didn't stop her.

Their lips meeting felt like a dagger to Mihi's already shattered heart. They didn't stop there — they crossed every limit while she watched, her world crumbling to dust.

Mihi's breathing turned ragged. Her eyes fell on Divyan, lying on the ground, half-dead, his life slipping away like sand through fingers.

After they were done, Naina and Raghav walked away carelessly. With a wicked smile, Naina set the whole place on fire. Within moments, flames engulfed everything.

Divyan (in a broken voice, taking his last breath) – "Forgive me… Vivaan… I couldn't save your sister… our Mihi."

Mihi (struggling for breath) – "Mahadev… why are you doing this to me? Yes… I made mistakes… even sins… but do the innocent deserve this punishment? I… I deserved one more chance… God…"

Their voices died out as fire consumed everything. Soon, nothing remained but ashes.

The people who had orchestrated this betrayal watched the last flames die out as if waiting for the show to end. When it was over, they turned and disappeared into the darkness.

Who was Mihi Maheshwari?

Was this truly the end of her story… or was there more yet to come?

And the sixth man… the one who planned her death — who was he?

If her brother's name was Vivaan… then who was this Divyan Luthra, the man who appeared in her final moments?
