"this is not something you should ask me". A mysterious man answered in his deep dark voice.
"But I really want to know, I know curiosity is a dangerous thing but it's just I cannot stop prying", A young figure emerged from shadows pleading to the mysterious man.
"The gods are not something you can pry upon, they are not yours to study", the man's voice turned serious.
The young man chuckled and narrowed his eyes saying "if they exist then they can be studied, if I cannot study them that just means the gods of sumaka doesn't exist".
The mysterious man turned serious as he looked at young man making mockery of the gods, he was clearly angry and disgusted from the tone of that figure which appeared young.
Mysterious man raised both of his hands vertically and said "if the gods do not exist then how will you explain the blessed ones who are roaming all around sumaka with boons and celestial weapons?"
The young man's eyes turned excited as he said "you seem like a god's man, can you help me meet one?"
The mysterious man seemed pretty offended but didn't reveal it in his face neither in his tone.
He walked few steps towards a dead body and said "the Gods will come, some of them in human form and some of them directly in their soul. The powers that all of us have are something extraordinary bestowed upon to us by the very same existence that made us. We do not believe because we haven't seen.
As long as someone hearing us from above, we can undoubtedly say they are there, watching us, observing us and most importantly waiting for us".
The young man obviously seemed very confused but didn't reveal it on his face as he didn't want to seem like a fool.
The young man smirked proudly and said in his low tone "I think I may have seen a god once but that seemed more like an illusion rather than a blessing. So, I want to meet God and ask him that were you the one who saved me from dying in that lake".
"There are thirty three gods in sumaka, and two of them are related to waters and lakes. It is very possible that one of them saved you", the mysterious man said with a smile.
"I don't think so but I would love to be proven wrong", the young man said with his tone that exuded a tint of arrogance.
The mysterious man laughed and asked "well it seems to me that you are not a believer of gods, well I cannot force you".
"It's just, I don't see gods as a thing to be prayed. I have always seen them as mythological creatures who are have absurdly strong powers. I more or less see them as strong fighters who look great fighting with other gods", the young man explained with a bit of stammer in his tone.
The mysterious man laughed and looked at him but did not say a word.
The mysterious man pointed towards the dead body and said "there it is, a miracle that only a god is capable of".
The dead body suddenly emerged from shadows slowly Opening his eyes in that dark atmosphere.
The young man widened his eyes and looked at it for a full minute without blinking and saying a word.
"What is that", the young man said with fear in his voice.
"Oh my boy, look at you frightening. Do not be afraid, it's just a miracle. Gods miracle never hurt their children", the mysterious man said with a smile on his face.
....
South of sumaka.
Lunaverth.
Sonarell, right side.
Freya was looking beautiful as she was trying her dressess for the ceremony that was about to happen within a week.
Freya looked at herself in the mirror and slowly turned around to see if she was actually ready or not for the event tonight.
The event tonight was something special, it wasn't extraordinary but special for Freya as for the first time she looked to be quite happy.
Freya slowly muttered under her breath "he is going to arrive tonight, maybe he will bring the flower that I like the most or maybe a necklace made of different flowers no-wait maybe he will bring all those things to surprise me".
Freya said while slowly sitting at a wooden chair "I really hope he arrives tonight".
She looked outside the lake while slowly closing her eyes and singing a song that she liked.
The song was melodious and was of different language but it was in a rhythm and her soft voice made the song sound more melodious.
She slowly made her way towards her bed and muttered under her breath "I do not want to marry someone that I don't know, I really hope he is gentle and kind but that is quite unlikely since the red kingdom is known for it's brutal nature and their wars".
She looked outside the wooden window again towards the evershine lake which shined under the rays of sun.
Her eyes widened slightly as she looked at the lake and said,
"Another vision, this time something different. A continuation of a previous vision, that is strange and new. The medium haired warrior is fighting a war against a kingdom.
Could it be Lancelot?"
