Chapter 42 - Chapter 32 – Blooming of the Disciples (~1300 words)

By autumn, Tian's disciples had grown impressively.

Children once bullied now froze streams solid enough to cross. In hunts, they slowed wolves enough for hunters to strike first. During snowstorms, they layered frost onto walls, insulating huts.

Though too weak to match great talents, their collective synergy astonished villagers. "They are no longer children," elders whispered. "They are Frost Seeds of Coldwater."

One dusk, a group returned victorious from a hunt, holding slain ice hare. They bowed before Tian's hut, declaring, "Teacher, we hunt with our frost now. Your Manual gave us strength."

Tears blurred Tian's eyes. Pride welled in chest. To see weak children rise—wasn't this why he endured humiliation years?

Yuexin, standing beside him carrying their infant daughter, whispered gently, "Tian… the clan has begun."

Frost Feat

That winter, when neighboring wolves attacked, it was not hunters but Tian's disciples who gathered. They layered Frost Veil around cattle pens, turning snow into walls that delayed the beasts. Hunters struck them down easily.

For the first time, villagers recognized disciples as protectors.

Leng Tian realized with quiet satisfaction: My Frost Manual has left my body. It belongs to generations now.
