[Mortal Realm]
Qi Refining (10 Levels) -
The beginnings of your cultivation journey. A practitioner in this state can perform basic mystical feats with their limited qi reserves, and can easily live to 100 years. A secular world martial artist may be able to rival a practitioner in the early stages of Qi Refinement. A Mortal Grade martial art is the minimum one needs at this stage.
Foundation (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
Practitioners often call the Foundation realm the first step towards immortality. In this realm, the average cultivator can live up to 160 years, while others may live for 2 whole centuries with the help of natural treasures. A practitioner at this level can achieve flight without assistive treasures, and ordinary mortals cannot hope to harm a Foundation Cultivator. Using Yellow Grade martial arts at the minimum, 4 Foundational Pillars are formed within one's Dantian, holding vast amounts of destructive potential.
Core Formation (Corresponds to number of elements in one's spiritual root) -
In this realm, a practitioner must shatter their Foundational Pillars to pieces. From those pieces, a cultivator must form a core that corresponds to each of the elements within their spiritual root. Once those cores have solidified can one move onto the next stage. With a Black Grade martial art at the minimum, a Core Formation cultivator can easily live past 200 years and up to 500.
Gold Core (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
With an Earth Grade martial art, one can condense the cores formed in the Core Formation realm into one singular core, possessing power many times stronger than that of the Core Formation realm. With a lifespan of 1,000 years on average, this is the first step to becoming an elite in the cultivation world.
Nascent Soul (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
True elites of the cultivation world, these cultivators reached their level using Sky Grade martial arts and obtained a lifespan of 3,000 years. To be considered a true Nascent Soul cultivator, one must nurture their soul to become independent of their physical body. When the soul takes physical form and can channel qi can one call themselves an elite.
Nascent Avatar (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
Often the pillars and ancestors of sects, a practitioner at this realm must use a Spirit Grade martial art to elevate their soul into its own being. This elevated soul becomes an avatar for the practitioner, capable of independent thought, and even cultivating its own Nascent Soul. Cultivators at this level have a lifespan that can range from 5,000 to 10,000 years, however through special methods, they are able to possess their Avatars and restart their cultivation, preserving their life while putting strain on their souls.
Deity Spirit (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
The true limit of the Mortal Realm, Deity Spirit cultivators are especially rare, and is a realm that does not favor anyone. Only with a True Spirit Grade martial art, as well as insurmountable talent and luck, can one enter into the Deity Spirit stage and dominate the lands. By fusing with the elements within their spiritual root and absorbing their Nascent Avatars, one can potentially rise to the Deity Spirit realm and gain unparalleled strength and a lifespan of over 20,000 years. The upper limit of their lifespan has never been disclosed in the Mortal Realm, but in higher realms, it is common knowledge that Deity Spirit cultivators live up to 30,000 years.
[Ascension]
Once one reaches the zenith of the Mortal Realm, they must find a way to ascend to a higher plane in order to continue their cultivation. This is no easy feat, and requires one to find a location where the laws of Heaven are weakened enough for the space between Realms to destabilize. There, the Ascension Trial will activate. Historical accounts and legends tell of a trial far more dangerous than any tribulation ever witnessed, requiring the challenger to face Heavenly Wrath that entails every possible element there is, as well as summoned beasts of light that try to prevent you from ascending.
[Immortal Realm]
Dao Transformation (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
Using a Dao Grade technique, one can transform their entire being into that of a unique Dao. Once chosen, you will embody that Dao, allowing it to become your faith. In this realm, you can spread the faith of your Dao like a religion. Stronger faiths in your Dao and more followers of your Dao will equate to greater feats you can perform. At certain thresholds of faith, you will experience a minor metamorphosis, and the average Dao Transformation practitioner possesses a lifespan of 100,000 years.
Law Domain (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
With a strong enough faith and a Domain Grade technique, one can advance into the Law Domain stage, where your Dao has solidified enough for you to carve out a space in the void and transform it into a Domain suited for your needs. These Domains are akin to minor Mortal Realms, capable of housing life that can evolve and become faithful servants. Theoretically, a Law Domain expert cannot die of old age if their Domains are still standing.
Origin (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
An Origin Grade technique will allow one with the talent, luck, and determination to advance to the Origin stage. At this stage, one must return all things to its origin. By absorbing each of one's Domains and storing it inside their Dantian, thus housing a realm inside the body, one can advance to the Origin realm and gain a much stronger control over the laws that govern the world. At this level, weaker Daos are completely at your mercy, and those under your faith obtain much greater potential.
[Ascension]
Upon reaching the peak of the Immortal Realm, one will realize that there is more to the Heavens than expected. Origin realm practitioners will seek out methods to ascend into the True Immortal Realm, where a whole new world awaits them. There are several methods of ascension, whether it be through ancient ruins or a brute force ascension like the trial of the Mortal Realm, but each one is no less dangerous than the other.
[True Immortal Realm]
Immortal Fetus (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
Upon ascending into the True Immortal Realm, one can advance their cultivation to the next level utilizing a self created technique. One must condense their comprehension down into a learnable and practicable form, creating an Immortal Grade technique tailored to the individual. This stage requires one to form an Immortal Fetus within their Dantian, similar to Nascent Soul and Nascent Avatar cultivators and their souls. This Immortal Fetus will serve as a wellspring of power, growing stronger with continued nurturing.
Immortal Spirit (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
Further advancing one's Immortal Grade technique, the Immortal Fetus one nurtured can transform into an adolescent form, functioning similarly to Nascent Souls and Avatars, only countless times more powerful. The Immortal Spirit is capable of independent thought, and the practitioner themself gains a powerful life saving method by transporting their consciousness into their cultivated spirit.
Immortal King (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
After one is able to take their Immortal Grade technique to the next level, one becomes qualified to call themselves an Immortal King. The Immortal Fetus becomes fully grown, becoming a King Spirit that is equivalent to another existence at the same level of strength as the practitioner. Furthermore, the practitioner gains a powerful physical body that is nearly indestructible, and can reform utilizing the power of faith. This protects the soul from obliteration, making Immortal Kings difficult to kill by someone of lower or equal cultivation.
Divine Core (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
To advance to the Divine Core stage, a practitioner must experience mortality again. One must scatter their Dantian, effectively crippling the cultivator and rendering them no different from a regular mortal. Through enlightenment, the practitioner must recollect the pieces of their Dantian scattered throughout their body, creating a new one filled with Immortal Qi. This new Dantian becomes the Divine Core, offering much greater power than before. All techniques suitable are best made by oneself, as each Divine Grade technique is tailored for each individual.
Primordial Lord (Low, Mid, High, Peak) -
To become a Primordial Lord, one must gain the proper insights of life, death, and karma. Either traversing through the Underworld and coming out alive, or resurrecting one's soul from certain death, these methods provide a dangerous but necessary push to advance to the next stage.
Sage -
To become a Sage, one must take hold of their Dao and embody it in its entirety. There can only be one Sage for every Dao, and one must take away the position of Sage with force if it is already occupied. A Sage conforms with the rules of the Heavens, and as long as a Sage is within Heaven's boundaries, they cannot be killed. In very rare cases, one can become a Sage by following their own Dao, one that has not yet been established yet.
Great Dao Sage -
To advance to the Great Dao Stage, one must raise their Dao Ranking, a universal ranking that judges the strength and prominence of your Dao. There can only be 9 Great Dao Sages at one time, and these are the top 9 Sages on the Dao Rankings. These Sages have their invulnerability extended to some areas beyond the Heavens, and are simply stronger due to their placement on the rankings.
Immemorial Ancestor -
A truly insurmountable being comparable to the Heavens. To reach this realm, one must either break free from the shackles of Heaven and become independent, or raise one's unique Dao to a level the Heavens cannot hope to contain. At such a level, one can traverse the universe as they see fit.
