"How fast!" Itachi Uchiha sighed softly as he watched Izumi Uchiha sprint towards him.

Izumi's speed was now no less than that of the Uchiha Genin he'd fought two years prior.

Itachi wasn't surprised, having witnessed firsthand how Izumi had trained over the past two years.

Izumi raised her arm, palm flat, and struck at Itachi's chest.

Itachi had been in a coma for two years, so training with this new body was only just beginning.

But his speed was no less than Izumi's.

Unable to see clearly from the many onlookers, Itachi stepped back slightly, tilting his body, allowing Izumi's palm to pass in front of him.

At the same age of seven, Izumi was even slightly taller than Itachi.

Seeing her attack miss, Izumi didn't seem surprised at all. Instead, a faint smile graced her fair, delicate face.

Then, her eyes flickered, and she swung her arm, transforming her palm into a knife-like hand, slashing at Itachi.

"Bang!"

At this moment, Itachi stretched out his palm and grabbed her wrist.

Although Izumi didn't want to fight Itachi, since she had chosen to step onto the field, she would not hold back.

Because she knew in her heart that she could not hurt Itachi at all.

In the training ground, the boy and the girl were temporarily restrained with each other, their eyes intertwined.

And until they paused, the students around them could see the situation in the field clearly.

Izumi's previous action was too fast for any of them to react.

Ariki Kimura swallowed hard, because now he knew that Izumi had held back in their previous sparring.

"Izumi's strength has reached this level," Junpei Kanhara's face showed slight shock.

Izumi has always been the top student in the class, but she had never shown her full strength before.

Next, his eyes fell on Itachi, and the shock in his eyes became even more intense, his pupils shrinking slightly.

He even wondered, was Itachi really in a coma for two years?

"Quite fast, and a decisive strike," Itachi stared calmly at Izumi, muttering, "But, it's just a little weak. This probably isn't your full strength."

He smiled faintly, "Go for it, it's all right."

"Yeah!"

Izumi nodded, thrusting with her palms, and then she and Itachi retreated together.

As they gained distance, Izumi flipped her palms, and several black shuriken appeared in each hand.

These weren't the tools used in Ninja Academy training, but real shuriken.

"Try it! You taught me this!" Izumi muttered, swung her arms violently, and the shuriken shot out.

"Swish, swish, swish!"

The shuriken transformed into black wisps of light, barely a flash to the eyes of the students outside the arena.

Even Junpei Kanhara couldn't fathom the movements of Izumi's shuriken.

Seeing this, Itachi chuckled inwardly.

Izumi's shuriken technique had been taught by him.

She had indeed improved greatly over the past two years.

However, he could have easily deflected Izumi's shuriken, but he had been in a coma for two years in the eyes of the world.

If his performance was too out of line, it would be unusual.

Itachi first unleashed a few shuriken, feigning panic as he flung them all out.

"Dang, dang, dang!"

These shuriken only knocked down half of Izumi's shuriken.

The other half came at him from tricky angles.

He quickly retreated, dodging left and right in a panic.

To the others, it looked as if Itachi was unable to deflect Izumi's shuriken and was forced to flee in panic.

One shuriken even flew past Itachi's cheek before landing on the ground.

But in the end, no shuriken touched Itachi.

Despite Itachi's frantic dodging, no one around him could laugh.

They hadn't even seen Izumi's attack clearly.

Izumi herself was stunned.

She stared at Itachi, who had just dodged the last shuriken and was looking towards her.

He nodded slightly.

Itachi's lips curled up slightly, as a token of recognition for Izumi's shuriken technique.

Although Izumi didn't know why Itachi didn't deflect all her shuriken, she wouldn't say anything.

"Izumi, you're amazing," Itachi shrugged.

He looked at Junpei Kanhara and said, "Teacher Kanhara, I'm at my wit's end. If Izumi had attacked me while I was dodging the shuriken, I would have already lost."

Given Itachi's mentality, he naturally wouldn't take such sparring at the Ninja Academy seriously.

He stopped there, believing his performance was sufficient.

The entire room fell silent, struck by the brief exchange between Izumi and Itachi.

Itachi's voice brought Junpei Kanhara back to his senses.

"Izumi-san won this match, but Itachi-san, you've also passed!"

Even Junpei Kanhara couldn't tell Itachi's earlier embarrassment was fake, but even so, no one would have considered Itachi unqualified.

Itachi's performance was already the best in his class besides Izumi.

Furthermore, he had a two-year hiatus from training, so while Itachi might have seemingly lost, the match still left everyone in the room feeling no less shocked.

The boy who had previously challenged Itachi to a fight with Izumi hung his head, feeling inferior.

Itachi walked up to Izumi and extended his hand.

Izumi smiled, and they made a sign of reconciliation.

Thus, Itachi's assessment came to a close.

The other students' sparring continued as usual. Izumi and Itachi stood together, calmly observing the scene.

But as the boys and girls behind them, each with their own ulterior motives, looked over, they felt a surge of self-consciousness.

Of all the people present, they were the only ones worthy of standing together.

The sparring concluded, everyone returned to the classroom, and it was time for lunch.

Izumi pulled a box from her desk drawer, opened it, and said shyly, "This is my cooking. Would you like to try it?"

Even as she spoke, her eyes brimmed with anticipation.

"When I was lying in bed, unable to move, Mom praised your cooking more than once. Of course I have to try it."

Itachi picked up his chopsticks, scooped up a little, and placed it in his mouth.

"Mm, delicious!" he nodded.

Even Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki admired Izumi's cooking.

Itachi remembered the first time the two little ones had fought in front of his bed while he was unconscious, seemingly over the only remaining rice ball Izumi had made.

Despite their quarrels, Itachi remained unfazed.

Because that's what true friends are like.

"Wow, it looks delicious. Can I have a taste?"

Ariki Kimura, who was still sitting in front of the two of them, turned around and made a requesting gesture to Izumi.

"Of course, please," Izumi said.

"Good cooking," Ariki Kimura gave Izumi a thumbs up after eating.

The day's classes at the Ninja Academy passed quickly, and it was time to go home.

Itachi and Izumi were walking side by side on the way home.

It was then that Izumi turned her head and asked, "Why did you lose to me on purpose in the sparring this morning?"

"You can't say I lost on purpose. You are really good now," Itachi looked at her and explained.

"I did this to save myself from unnecessary trouble."

"Oh," Izumi nodded, not overly entangled.

She glanced at the boy next to her with the corner of her eye, and a look of joy involuntarily appeared in her eyes.

Dim sunlight shone on the street as a boy and a girl walked slowly forward. Behind them, two shadows gradually formed, gradually blending into one.

...

A month passed quickly after Itachi Uchiha's awakening.

Besides his usual time at the Ninja Academy, Itachi diligently trained with his current body.

During this month, the Konoha ninjas continued their search for the traitorous ninja, Orochimaru.

Today was Saturday, a day off from the Ninja Academy.

Izumi Uchiha seemed to have had some family issues, so she wasn't training with Itachi.

Swish!

Itachi swiftly crossed the streets of the Uchiha clan.

After a month of focused training, his speed had noticeably increased.

This was the speed this body, after Tsunade's drug-induced transformation, should possess.

After the age of six, the body's meridians are largely formed, so Itachi increased his training intensity even more than two years ago.

Possessing the Mangekyƍ Sharingan, Itachi didn't need to cultivate his spiritual energy.

To strengthen his chakra, he naturally focused on cultivating his physical energy.

"Ah!"

As Itachi was traversing the streets, a cry echoed overhead.

He looked up to see several crows flying past.

Crows were the creatures Itachi was most familiar with, having once been his summoning beasts.

He paused, gazing at the crows now soaring into the distant sky. He murmured, "It's about time we start trying!"

He glanced toward the Uchiha clan's forest training grounds.

He planned to immediately begin breeding a number of crows to use as summoning beasts.

In the ninja world, summoning beasts are broadly divided into two types.

One type is an independent clan of ninja beasts, each with its own race.

Some clans form contracts with humans.

After signing a contract, humans can use summoning techniques, summoning beasts of varying strengths to fight based on the amount of chakra used.

The three most powerful clans of ninja beasts have their own distinct areas of residence, known as the Three Sacred Grounds: Mount Myƍboku, RyĆ«chi Cave, and Shikkotsu Forest.

The former Sannin of Konoha each signed a contract with the summoned beasts of the Three Sacred Grounds.

Summoning techniques were a crucial component of their strength.

Itachi was no exception.

While the crows he summoned lacked inherent power, they served as a medium for performing ninjutsu, significantly reducing the chakra consumption of the techniques.

Another type of summoned beast is one that one raises for their own needs.

Raising crows requires at least dozens of them, so keeping them at home is clearly not appropriate.

That's why he decided to raise them in the forest behind the clan's training grounds.

Having made up his mind, Itachi leaped onto the rooftop and swiftly swooped down to the forest training grounds.

"Swish!"

Itachi landed on a tree in the forest, the leaves rustling softly under his feet.

He began to survey his surroundings.

Before beginning to raise the crows, he planned to select a location and build a nest for them.

To raise crows, they needed to be raised from hatchlings, using special feed to ensure they had a small amount of chakra.

This breeding method is very common.

Members of Konoha's Aburame clan use their bodies as insect hosts from a young age, feeding them with their own chakra.

In Konoha, there's a market dedicated to selling young ninja beasts suitable for cultivation into full-fledged beasts.

Crows are a relatively common species in the ninja beast market.

Itachi still had some pocket money left, so buying a few dozen crow chicks shouldn't be a problem.

Having previously raised ninja crows, building nests was a piece of cake for him.

After completing the nests, it was almost noon, and Itachi returned home.

However, he didn't immediately purchase crow chicks, as the forest training grounds were close to Shisui Uchiha's home.

He wanted to get Shisui's permission to raise ninja beasts there.

Crows had once been Shisui's summoning beasts, and Itachi's use of crows as a medium for his ninjutsu was influenced by him.

However, as an ANBU member, Shisui often travels on missions, so it seems he doesn't keep his crows in the village.

Once the crows are fully grown, they no longer need to be fed.

They can forage for food on their own.

Itachi hadn't seen Shisui since he woke up.

As the captain of the ANBU, and now one of the Fourth Hokage's most capable assistants, he was also sent out to carry out the task of searching for the traitor Orochimaru.

More than a month had passed since Orochimaru's defection, but the ninjas of Konoha still hadn't gained much.

The village couldn't keep spending too much energy searching for Orochimaru.

So Itachi concluded that the search for Orochimaru wouldn't last much longer.

When he thought of Orochimaru, the expression in Itachi's eyes gradually darkened.

When he was strong enough, if he saw Orochimaru in the future, he would naturally eliminate him completely.

As one of the three Sannin in the ninja world, Orochimaru was very powerful.

Looking at the entire ninja world, there were not many people who dared to say that they could be sure of killing him.

But just like the five attributes of chakra, ninjas' abilities, depending on their type, also have mutually exclusive elements.

While the reincarnation technique developed by Orochimaru can achieve immortality, it also damages the soul with each reincarnation.

And Itachi's eye power is his greatest nemesis.

Another week passed.

Just as Itachi had anticipated, the forces Konoha had sent out to hunt Orochimaru gradually withdrew.

After receiving news from the Fourth Hokage, Itachi returned to the clan's forest this weekend.

He practiced shuriken techniques outside the forest.

Clang clang clang!

Itachi's shuriken struck targets in different directions.

As he retracted his shuriken, a figure suddenly appeared in front of the tree directly in front of Itachi.

Shisui, still wielding his signature ANBU sword, glanced at the shuriken Itachi had just launched and smiled, "It seems you've recovered well."

"You're finally back," Itachi replied with a faint smile.

"From your tone, it seems you've been waiting here for me. What do you want from me?"

Shisui slowly walked up to Itachi. In the past two years, his height had changed a lot, almost as tall as the Fourth Hokage.

"Nothing special, I just want to start raising some ninja crows near your house, and I wanted to ask for your permission first."

"Of course," Shisui said.

"Do you need my help? I've also raised some ninja crows."

"Thank you, but I've already collected the training methods, I have no problem doing it myself," Itachi shook his head.

In the village, most children from ninja families will start raising ninja beasts from now on, so Shisui was not surprised by Itachi's approach.
