"W-what kind of pills?" Ravenna asked, eyes wide in demand that caused Princess Olenna to flinch at her tone.
Instead of deeming rude toward her reaction, "T-They call it Noctum," she answered. "To suppress one's… magic."
"How long does it… take effect?"
Princess Olenna seemed to think carefully before responding. "It depends on the kind," she said. The kind, Ravenna thought. There are kinds? "It's been able to suppress my magic for seven hours, maximum. If more than that, I lose control and will be forcefully taken down,"
"Did it only apply to your kind?" She asked, using the latter to sound respectful. Witches find it disrespectful to call them witches, for they had this sense that humans meant harm.
And she was reminded of her sister.
