The elevator doors slid open.
Alpha Rivan Storm stepped into the lobby.
His scent cedarwood and storm is filled in the air.
All the Betas and lower-ranking Alphas ppplowered their eyes.
Only one person did not look away.
Omega Veyna held his gaze, her lavender and honey scent unwavering.
"You are bold," he said, his voice deep and challenging.
"Or perhaps you are too used to others being afraid," she replied.
Silence fell.
No one spoke to the Alpha CEO that way.
Rivan's lips curved into a slow, dangerous smile.
"What is your name?"
"Veyna."
He stepped closer.
"You interest me, little Omega."
"I am not little," she said, her voice firm.
He turned and walked away, leaving the entire lobby in stunned silence.
Veyna did not look away.
Her heart beat fast, but her spirit felt stronger than ever.
Chapter 2: The Boardroom Challenge
Rivan stood at the head of the conference table.
He presented a new business strategy is ruthless and efficient.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
Everyone except Veyna.
She raised her hand.
"Your plan ignores the well-being of the Omegas in the company," she stated.
Gasps filled the room.
Rivan's eyes narrowed.
"Explain."
"Omegas are not weak. We deserve respect, not disregard."
A long pause followed.
Then, Rivan smiled.
"Finally, someone with courage."
Chapter 3: The Rival's Threat
Daven, a rival Alpha, cornered Veyna near the breakroom.
"You do not belong here, Omega," he sneered.
"This is no place for your kind."
Veyna stood her ground.
"I belong wherever I choose to be."
"You will regret those words," Daven said, leaning too close.
Suddenly, Rivan was there.
His presence was overwhelming.
"If you threaten her again, Daven, you will answer to me."
Daven stepped back, but his eyes promised revenge.
Chapter 4: A Gesture of Respect
Late one evening, Rivan placed a cup of coffee on Veyna's desk.
"You work too hard," he said softly.
"Omegas need care."
Veyna looked up.
"What we need is respect."
Rivan's gaze softened.
"You have both from me."
Chapter 5: The Pack Gala
The annual Pack Gala was in full swing.
Veyna wore a deep blue gown.
Rivan, in a tailored tuxedo, approached her.
"Dance with me," he said, extending his hand.
She accepted.
Their scents mingGal in cedarwood and lavender.
For a moment, nothing else existed.
But from the shadows, a camera flashed.
Chapter 6: The Anonymous Threat
That night, Veyna's phone buzzed.
An unknown number.
A message: "Tomorrow, everyone will know your secret."
Her blood ran cold.
Before she could react, Rivan was at her door.
"I sensed your fear," he said.
"No one will harm you. Not while I live."
Chapter 7: The Gossip Spreads
By morning, rumors were everywhere.
"Omega Veyna is trying to seduce the Alpha CEO!"
Daven smirked as he passed her desk.
"Looks like your time here is ending, Omega."
Rivan's voice cut through the chatter.
"Spread one more lie, Daven, and you are finished."
Chapter 8: The Presentation Sabotage
During a major presentation, Veyna's slides were altered.
The data was wrong—someone had sabotaged her.
Just as she began to panic, Rivan stepped in.
He corrected every number without glancing at notes.
Afterward, he whispered, "Do not let them make you doubt yourself."
Her heart swelled with gratitude… and something more.
Chapter 9: The Private Conversation
Rivan called Veyna into his office.
He closed the door.
"This is no longer just about business," he said.
"I know," she replied.
"What happens now?"
"That," he said, "is up to you."
Chapter 10: The Festival of Lights
The company's annual festival was vibrant with color and music.
Rivan found Veyna in the crowd.
Rivan's hand founded hers in the crowd, his touch electric and sure.
"You belong here," he said quietly.
"With me."
He repeated, his voice a low promise that vibrated in her soul.
For the first time, Veyna truly believed it.
She smiled.
Her lavender scent blooming with a happiness she had never known.
"Maybe I do."
He leaned in, his cedarwood storm scent wrapping around her like a safe harbor.
His lips were inches from hers, and the world faded away.
But just as he was about to close the distance, his phone vibrated urgently.
He ignored it.
It buzzed again, insistently.
With a low growl, he pulled away and glanced at the screen.
His entire body went rigid. The softness in his eyes vanished, replaced by a storm of cold fury.
Veyna's smile faded.
"What is it?"
He looked at her, his expression unreadable and dark.
"It's Daven," he said, his voice dangerously calm.
"He just leaked your secret to the entire pack."
