Chapter 1 - DRAGON X

Chapter One: Strangers in the Lobby

The lobby of DragonX shimmered like a living forge, filled with players from across the globe. Each avatar burned with golden light, waiting for the drop into the battlefield.

Four stood apart.

Mike from America, sharp-eyed, his soldier avatar armored in sleek black plating.

Chike from Nigeria, confident, his suit glinting gold with a dragon crest on the chest.

Ananya from India, calm but deadly, her avatar wrapped in crimson energy threads.

Lara from Australia, bold, her dragon-suited frame balanced with agility.

They were strangers, rivals even. Each entered DragonX to prove themselves the best. But destiny had other plans.

Chapter Two: Dragon Teeth

The battlefield materialized: jagged cliffs shaped like dragon fangs. Fire flickered across the horizon, illuminating broken temples and forgotten shrines.

At first, it was chaos. Mike grabbed the best loot, smirking at his haul. Chike snapped:

"Don't think I didn't see you steal my chest, man."

"You were too slow," Mike shot back.

Ananya sighed. "Focus. The battlefield doesn't forgive ego."

Lara rolled her eyes but already moved ahead, scouting the cliffs.

They were rivals… but hidden beneath the sharp words, sparks of respect were forming.

---

Chapter Three: The Hacker Appears

They pushed deeper into the battlefield, gathering dragon cores, weapons glowing with mythic runes. Then, without warning, the sky darkened.

An enemy avatar tore through the map — not bound by game rules. Flying. Teleporting. Weapons firing infinite rounds.

"Who the hell is that?" Lara whispered.

"ShadowFang," Chike muttered. He had heard rumors — a hacker, unbeatable, wiping whole squads.

For the first time, the four felt the same fear.

---

Chapter Four: Fire and Fractures

ShadowFang descended. Explosions shook the cliffs. Mike was pinned, health bar dwindling.

Chike, without thinking, shielded him with a wall deploy. "Move, brother!"

Mike's eyes widened. A moment ago they were rivals. Now… Chike had saved him.

Ananya covered them with suppressive fire, while Lara flanked and revived fallen allies.

The fight was brutal, but somehow, they survived the hacker's first strike.

Something had shifted. Pride cracked — and friendship leaked through.

---

Chapter Five: The First Strike of ShadowFang

The hacker returned, stronger. Bullets bent in mid-air. Grenades exploded twice. ShadowFang mocked them in chat:

> "Pro players? Pathetic."

Mike slammed his desk IRL. "We can't beat this alone."

Chike nodded reluctantly. "Then together, we hunt a hacker."

And so, for the first time, the four rivals became a squad.

---

Chapter Six: The Plan

Between battles, they regrouped in the ruins of a dragon shrine. Lara traced strategies in the dirt.

"We can't outgun her. But DragonX has traps. Dragonfire shrines. If we bait her…"

"…We can cage her," Ananya finished.

It wasn't easy. They argued, clashed, and doubted. But slowly, they built trust. Chike shared extra medkits. Mike dropped a mythic weapon he didn't need. Lara shielded Ananya without hesitation.

Small acts of kindness forged something stronger than pride.

---

Chapter Seven: Dragonfire Trap

The battlefield roared as they set their plan in motion.

Mike fired shots to draw ShadowFang in. Chike unleashed decoys. Lara baited her toward the shrine while Ananya hacked the map's environment controls.

The hacker lunged — unstoppable, furious. But then the ground lit up. Dragonfire erupted, walls closing like fangs.

"Now!" Ananya shouted.

Together, they struck.

---

Chapter Eight: The Final Stand

The hacker fought like a demon, breaking through walls of flame. Health bars dropped fast. Mike was hit, Chike nearly down.

But Lara pulled him back, reviving without fear.

Ananya launched the final strike, a Dragon Core beam.

Mike and Chike flanked, unloading mythic rounds.

With one final roar, their weapons struck as one.

ShadowFang collapsed. Eliminated.

---

Chapter Nine: The Reveal

The battlefield quieted. Victory banners lit the sky. The four stood together, panting, alive.

A message appeared in chat:

> "You were the first to beat me…"

ShadowFang's avatar flickered. Her voice — calm, almost sad — echoed in their comms.

"I wasn't cheating to win. I was… testing who could stop me. To see if teamwork still mattered in a game full of egos. Guess you proved me right."

Her avatar faded. And the four were left in stunned silence.

---

Chapter Ten: United by the Fire

The match ended. Victory was theirs.

Mike looked at Chike. "Guess you're not so slow after all."

Chike smirked. "And you're not as selfish as you act."

Lara laughed. "Friends, then?"

Ananya no
