Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Kakashi and Rin.

Chapter 3: Kakashi and Rin.

The baby couldn't stand Minato's awkwardness anymore, so he tried to help him out, using his cuteness attack.

However... it didn't seem to work.

"Where did such a cute baby come from? I'd love to hear your explanation." Kushina smiled and clenched her fist.

"Well... don't be angry..." Minato scratched his head and quickly explained the baby's origins.

"So that's how it is." Kushina lowered her fist and let Minato in.

Seeing that everything was finally okay, the baby launched another cuteness attack at Kushina, smiling and humming at her, then reaching out for a hug.

Because his vocal cords hadn't developed yet, he couldn't speak even if he could.

"So cute!" Kushina was finally captivated by the baby's cuteness. She snatched the baby from Minato's grasp, cuddled him in her arms, and nuzzled his face against the baby's.

The baby, breathing in Kushina's body fragrance, finally smiled for the first time since entering this world.

His smile made Kushina even more fond of him.

"What a cute baby," Kushina said as she carried the baby into the house and sat down on the sofa in the living room. Minato followed.

"From now on, we'll be raising him. Should we raise him as a brother or a son?" Minato said.

"We just got married... can't we just have another son?"

"But if it's a brother, the age difference is quite big," Minato kept saying.

"If it's a son, he'll definitely have a name. How about Super Flashing Rondo?"

"What kind of name is that? Is it for people?" Kushina said dissatisfiedly.

"Then what do you think the name should be? I think we should keep the family name."

"Inzoro? Let's call him Yin Xiang," Kushina said hesitantly.

"Yin Xiang? Does it have any special meaning?" Minato said after thinking for a moment.

"Yin means honesty. I mean, I want him to be a man of integrity."

"Is that so? Then let's call him Yin Xiang," Minato laughed, and Yin Xiang laughed too.

"I see you really like this name, Yin Xiang," Kushina said, touching Yin Xiang's cheek with her finger.

"Hmm..." Yin Xiang hummed twice and nodded. "You're such a smart kid, Yin Xiang." Seeing Yin Xiang like this, Kushina and Minato were also very happy.

"Let's ask Kakashi and Rin to come home for dinner so they can meet Yin Xiang," Kushina said to Minato.

"By the way, Yin Xiang hasn't eaten anything since he was born..." Minato then said.

"..."

Yin Xiang's smile suddenly died down. He suddenly felt hungry. Having just traveled through time, he was so excited about this world that he had almost forgotten that he hadn't eaten.

"..."

Then what are we waiting for! Go buy some formula!" Kushina had no milk for Yin Xiang, so she had to ask Minato to do it.

"Okay, I'll go right away." Minato quickly put on his clothes and shoes and ran out. Seeing Minato's panic, Kushina smiled sweetly at home, suddenly feeling a sense of happiness.

Minato, along with Kakashi and Lin, spent the entire afternoon buying Yin Xiang a stroller, baby carrier, formula, bottles, and other baby necessities, all at a considerable cost.

After feeding Yin Xiang her formula, Kushina happily went to cook.

"How adorable! Minato-sensei," Lin said, running over to the stroller and looking at Yin Xiang.

"I didn't expect you guys already have a child, teacher," Kakashi quipped.

"No, it's an orphan the Third Hokage asked me to take care of." Because the Zoro clan's secrets were kept secret, Minato simply said Yin Xiang was an orphan.

"I'll go help Sister Kushina cook!" Lin gave Yin Xiang one last look before heading to the kitchen.

"What a beautiful girl." After observing Lin up close, she realized she was truly beautiful. No wonder Obito was willing to destroy the world for her.

"Take good care of him when he grows up, Kakashi," Minato said, patting Kakashi on the shoulder.

"What? Can't you take care of him yourself?" Kakashi rolled his eyes.

"One more person means more strength."

"Okay, I know. I'll take care of him," Kakashi said with a helpless nod.

"Hmm... Hmm..." Yin Xiang stretched out his paw towards Kakashi.

"Oh, it seems he likes you very much," Minato smiled.

"Really?" Kakashi lowered his head and looked at Yin Xiang. Yin Xiang stretched out his paw to grab at his mask, trying to pull it off, but he was too weak right now. As a newborn, he was already struggling to control himself from sleeping all the time.

"Want to take off the mask?" Kakashi stood up, out of Yin Xiang's reach.

"Hmm... Hmm..." Yin Xiang snorted twice, revealing a look of grievance.

"I really can't do anything about you." Kakashi couldn't stand his expression and reached out to take off his mask, letting Yin Xiang take a look, then put it back on. It can be said that he was very doting on Yin Xiang.

After a while, Kushina and Lin prepared the meal and everyone went to eat. With no one to play with Yin Xiang, he finally couldn't hold on and fell asleep.

"Lin, have you accepted a mission for Kirigakure recently?" Minato and Lin chatted during dinner.

"Yes, it's an undercover mission to Kirigakure. It shouldn't be too dangerous," Lin nodded.

"We still have to be careful. Kirigakure isn't stable. The war just ended, and they're still on alert."

"Yes, I see!" Lin nodded.

"Where's Kakashi?" After talking to Lin, Minato looked at Kakashi again.

"There's another mission, but it's confidential," was all Kakashi could say.

"Okay, okay, let's not talk about that while we're eating," Kushina said, tapping the table.

"Yeah, by the way, Kushina's baby is about to be born. Have you decided on a name?" Lin asked, looking at Kushina.

"Not yet. Actually, it's good to have Yin Xiang now. We can have someone to look after each other in the future," Kushina smiled, looking at the quiet crib.

"Yin Xiang seems different from other babies. He's so well-behaved. He doesn't cry or make a fuss, and he's very smart," Lin said.

"Just like an adult." Kakashi also said, and quickly put on his mask.

"Now that you put it that way... it seems so." Minato and Kushina looked at each other and said.
