The next day…
You are going to be training against me. Remember, this is my avatar, so I will limit my avatar to ten percent power.
"Should we go all out."
Yes, and if you end up dying I'll resurrect you.
"Well here we go."
Moments later…
You were too slow, again!
Oops, didn't mean to use that ability. I'll bring you back.
"What was that ability you just used, it was weird and it made us all feel like we would've been before we even existed."
Ya, sorry, didn't mean to use that ability.
It's called Plotline Rend. Basically anything related to or about this story, I can tear their current story thread, essentially causing their body to unravel like ink in water. As a result, they dissolve into scattered narrative symbols. In short, whatever I use this ability on never existed; it was never even a part of the story.
Go again!
Snap!
Dammit, didn't mean to use that ability either. My bad—still getting used to having over an infinite number of souls in each one of these avatars in order to keep them moving.
I'll figure it out in like a day or two.
"What was that ability that was the same as the last, it made us feel like we were going to end instant instantaneously?"
Ya, that ability is similar to the last, though less powerful.
It's called Fate Spine Strike.
Essentially, my tail is reinforced with jagged, obsidian-like plates containing symbols of fate.
A single tail-whip from my tail snaps the victim's fate-thread and causes their body to collapse into stillness.
Kinda like a book whose last chapter ended instantly, but for a being no matter how powerful.
I'll bring him back.
"How about we try and harm you rather than it being a spar?"
Ok, that's fine with me.
Mortyn, you go first and use the ability you were born with.
"You mean that ability?"
Yes, that one. Go all out.
Plop!
"Oh no I killed him."
1 sec later…
Ya, I probably should have brought my power back up to 1 percent to take that hit. I just wanted to test if you were truly "The End" as I thought you were, and you are.
Ok, so Mortyn is The End of all things in dragon form.
And now I need to teach you about yourself, Liora.
"Me?"
Yes, you. It's getting late—let's talk.
To be continued…
