I don't know how long I've been having these damned dreams.
I don't know how many times I've seen the same dream, how many times I've watched my own pathetic death.
Hearing my own screams.
Seeing the triumphant, contemptuous gazes of my enemies reflected in the bloody tears streaming from my eyes as I draw my last breath...
Hundreds of different scenarios, and hundreds of deaths.
It never seemed to end.
I wasn't given even a moment to collect myself.
I would awaken from one nightmare, and before my mind could even process the horror it had just witnessed, I'd find myself in another dream, another failure.
Watching my own death.
Again... and again... and again.
I couldn't bear it any longer.
My mind couldn't comprehend this endless cycle of agony and despair. I was on the verge of shattering.
