My teammates were quiet. The archer had stopped complaining, and the swordsman was no longer trying to explain how we should proceed. Both walked a few steps behind me.
Elise held her staff in both hands, keeping her eyes on the floor.
They seemed discouraged.
I couldn't quite understand why they were acting this way when they should have been happy about passing the dungeon exam so easily.
