Chapter 64 - Loyalty

"Mr. Yu Tian, Lady... should I call you Lady Yu now?" Jingxing asked, seeming deep in thought.

"What?" Xueling shouted in embarrassment.

"Anyway, welcome back," she said with a slight bow.

Xueling looked at her. "I'm surprised you're still here," she said.

"It's my job after all," Jingxing replied.

"Job, huh," Yu Tian thought. Except for her, everyone else had escaped - the other servants, and even the so-called members of the lady's faction. Well, he didn't really blame them, but for someone like her to stay despite all this, she was suspicious.

He wondered if she was a spy.

"Hmm, that's strange," he thought. She didn't seem to have much loyalty towards the lady though, so why was she doing this?

"Hmm." He wondered if he was misreading the situation. It was hard to work with emotions.
