Chapter 1 - Chapter 0 : Prologue

So Readers ,

This story explores the rise, fall, and rebirth of Seryth Kha'Zar — a being who once sought to save his world from ruin but instead became the embodiment of the Void. Told in haunting prose, through memories, dreams, and fractured reflections, Seryth's journey leads us through the collapse of Valkyneth, the seduction of the Void, and his transformation from savior to silence.

Prologue: A World That Died Too Loudly

Valkyneth burned.

Not in fire, nor in war, but in memory.

It was a world of knowledge, of glass towers and moonlit libraries. A world that whispered in ink and echoed in song. But in its final days, it could no longer remember itself. The stars dimmed one by one, not from death, but disinterest. Reality had grown tired.

And so had Seryth.

He had been its guardian. Its arch-scholar. Its last voice. And when the Endless Sleep came — the unraveling of dreams, the forgetting of names — he begged the gods for aid. None came. Not because they did not hear. But because they had already left.

In desperation, he performed the Rite of the Unseen Thread. A forbidden spell that allowed a mortal to speak not with gods, but with the space between them.

The Void answered.

It offered not power, but peace. Not salvation, but stillness.

And Seryth — grieving, hollow, and forsaken — accepted.

[Seryth wanders through the memories of his world, replaying the fall, recounting the whispers of the Void, and stepping through the final threshold that will make him more than mortal.]
