Chapter 3 - The Big Enemy

Three days had passed since Tsuruki started living in the cave.

If you asked him how he counted time in the pitch-black cave, he would definitely say it was the power from the ancient Huaxia Kingdom!

"Crack!"

A groove suddenly appeared on the cave wall.

The ice blade then dissipated.

"Tsuruki, what are you doing?"

Tobi poked his green head out from underground.

"Counting time."

Tsuruki had a profound expression.

"So that's it!"

Tobi looked at the three grooves already on the cave wall and said in shock, "Tsuruki, you're truly a genius!"

"…"

Tsuruki remained silent.

After spending three days with Tobi, he realized that he was a fool.

His intelligence was indeed a bit off.

No wonder his favorability fluctuated so much.

"Tsuruki, Madara is looking for you."

Tobi remembered his purpose for coming.

Uchiha Madara, who had been missing for three days, finally remembered that Tsuruki existed.

Tsuruki wiped away a bitter tear.

If it weren't for Tobi and the system, staying in such a dark place for three whole days would definitely have made him mentally unstable.

Tobi led Tsuruki from a narrow, dark cave into a vast, dark cave.

"…"

He shouldn't have held any hope for Uchiha Madara and Tobi.

Uchiha Madara sat on a stone stool, covered in oxygen tubes extending from the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.

Although these oxygen tubes were delivery ing Chakra.

"You're here."

Uchiha Madara slowly opened his eyes.

He looked extremely tired.

Tsuruki understood.

He was an old man!

That's how it was when you got old.

Even his voice was weak.

Uchiha Madara sensed his body growing weaker and weaker, a red light flashed in his eyes, he couldn't delay any longer.

His gaze fell on Tsuruki, who was wearing a girl's kimono, and he was uncharacteristically silent for a second.

Never mind.

There were always some people in the world with strange hobbies.

Uchiha Madara had seen a lot, so this was nothing!

"Why are you only coming to me now? Quickly tell me how to change this world!"

Tsuruki took two steps forward, slightly agitated, his clear blue eyes fixed on Uchiha Madara.

The Charming Capture System was completely confident in his acting skills.

His tone was not polite or respectful.

But Uchiha Madara was not angry; on the contrary, a smile flashed in his eyes.

That's right!

That's how it should be!

"Ding! Target Uchiha Madara's favorability is 61!"

Damn it!

Uchiha Madara, this stingy guy!

He had acted like this, and the other party only gained a little favorability.

Sure enough, Tobi was easier to fool.

"Don't worry."

Uchiha Madara smiled faintly, "In a few days, someone will come to accompany you, and you can train together. Strength is the foundation for achieving all goals!"

Tsuruki choked, and immediately guessed who that person was in his heart.

Tobi?

Is that you?

Tobi.

His capture targets were about to increase again.

Compared to the later blackened Uchiha Obito, he had to work hard to max out his favorability in the early stages!

Suddenly remembering something, an awkward expression appeared on Tsuruki's face.

He looked at Uchiha Madara: "I… I haven't cultivated…"

His acting was perfect, with three parts embarrassment, five parts determination to become stronger, and two parts pleading on his face.

Uchiha Madara instantly understood his unfinished words.

"Next, Tobi will take you to get some Ninjutsu scrolls. Whether you can learn them depends on you."

Uchiha Madara said.

If he couldn't even teach himself some ordinary Ninjutsu, then he wouldn't have much value.

"Good."

Tsuruki looked at Uchiha Madara with determination.

He would prove to Uchiha Madara that he was the right person to create a beautiful new world!

To deceive others, one must first deceive oneself!

Tsuruki cheered silently in his heart.

Uchiha Madara nodded.

Tobi led Tsuruki to another pitch-black cave.

The cave was filled with scrolls on wooden shelves, and under the dim candlelight, Tsuruki's expression was lewd.

"You practice on your own! I'll go prepare food for you!"

Tobi disappeared underground.

Tsuruki extended his demonic claws towards these Ninjutsu scrolls.

"As expected of Uchiha Madara, he has collected a lot of Ninjutsu!"

"It is not recommended for the Host to practice Ninjutsu."

The system spoke.

"Hmm?"

Tsuruki stopped his hand, "Why?"

More skills are always better!

The system replied: "The Host will acquire more and more skills. Practicing these Ninjutsu is meaningless. It's better to practice and unlock the skills you have already obtained."

Tsuruki stroked his chin; the system's words made sense.

Too much to chew, nothing to swallow.

Although his Limitless Void was a max-level skill, the system prohibited the use of Limitless Void's derivative skills.

He was very envious of these and didn't know how to remove the restriction?

"When can the derivative skills of Limitless Void be restored?"

Tsuruki asked.

Cursed Technique: Blue, Teleportation, Cursed Technique Reversal: Red, Hollow Purple…

How could one not be tempted?

"The derivative skills of Limitless Void will be randomly drawn based on the favorability of the capture target in the later stages."

The system's words ignited Tsuruki's anger.

Damn it!

He could have had these from the start!

This hateful system insisted that he was taking shortcuts by choosing capture targets!

Tsuruki bit his kimono sleeve resentfully.

"Please, Host, cultivate diligently."

The system advised.

In the high-risk world of Hokage, it didn't want its Host to die during the capture process!

It took five days, and Tsuruki at most became proficient in the Ice-Ice and Ice Blade skills; none of the other abilities of the Ice-Ice Fruit were unlocked.

One day.

Tsuruki stood as usual in the cave full of scrolls.

Cold air emanated from his palm, and white mist began to gradually divide into five streams.

He was trying to unlock the abilities of the Time Freezing Capsule.

"Bang!"

A sudden explosion sounded from above his head.

The cold air in Tsuruki's hand also dissipated.

Immediately, smoke and dust filled the air.

Sunlight streamed into the cave.

For a moment, Tsuruki almost wanted to cry.

After so long, he finally saw light!

Falling debris slid past Tsuruki, but his body seemed to be covered by a thin film, not even dust could get close.

When blood spread to Tsuruki's feet, it strangely stopped, then flowed past him.

Tsuruki knew who had arrived.

His poor, unfortunate Tobi.

Uchiha Obito's vision plunged into darkness.

His consciousness gradually sank.

His eyelids felt as heavy as a thousand catties.

He knew.

He wasn't going to live.

Rin, Kakashi…

Goodbye.

Suddenly, a strong light pierced his eyes.

He forced his last bit of strength, parting his eyelids into a slit.

A small girl in a purple kimono walked towards him.

The girl's silver hair floated gently in the wind, like moonlight, cascading down.

Her clear blue eyes were like the clear blue sky, dazzling and brilliant.

Is this a fairy?

Obito's consciousness completely plunged into darkness.

Tsuruki walked to Obito's front.

The next second, Tobi emerged from the rubble, stuck Obito's bloody half-body together, and left the place.

Tsuruki stood still, because a system prompt sounded in his mind.

"Ding! Target Uchiha Obito's favorability has reached 60!"

"What the heck?"

Tsuruki was bewildered.

It reached 60 without him even saying a word?

What was going on with Tobi?

Was he self-capturing?

He suddenly felt confident about maxing out Tobi's 100 favorability.

"System automatically allocated skill has arrived. Host, would you like to check it?"

"Yes" "No"

Tsuruki did not hesitate.

Confusion was one thing, but claiming rewards was another.

"Cursed Technique: Blue"

"Gojo Satoru's common attack method. Manifests as an attractive force centered on Blue. The maximum output can reach negative infinity, similar to a small black hole. Activating Blue does not require hand seals, it can be activated multiple times, and it can be precisely directed (the effect of spatial compression only applies to specified objects), and it also has many practical derivative uses. Please explore them yourself, Host."

Just what he wanted.

Tsuruki was so moved that tears welled up.

Although his impression of Blue was ordinary, Teleportation, which was equivalent to an unrestricted Flying Thunder God, was activated based on Cursed Technique: Blue!

Perhaps if he maxed out Tobi's 100 favorability, he could get Teleportation.

Tsuruki walked towards the cave where Tobi was.

Obito vaguely felt something.

It was a hand.

A soft, warm hand.

It was like returning to the womb, being enveloped in warm amniotic fluid.

So warm and comfortable that it made one want to cry.

Obito struggled to open his eyes.

Finally, after an unknown amount of time, he opened one eye.

In his line of sight was the girl he had seen before he died.

"Am I dead?"

Uchiha Obito no longer doubted anything now.

He had seen a fairy, so he must have gone to heaven.

Sure enough, heaven had eyes and let a kind person like him into paradise.

Tsuruki glanced at Uchiha Obito, who had been grinning foolishly since he woke up, and retreated behind Uchiha Madara.

Intelligence was contagious, and he didn't want to become the next Tobi.

Uchiha Madara's face was grim, and he was brewing emotions.

After all, his next target to fool was lying on the bed.

"Who are you?"

"Where is this place?"

Seeing the suddenly appearing Uchiha Madara, Obito shrieked.

"No! This shouldn't be!"

How could a fairy be with this ugly thing?

Wasn't this heaven?

Obito looked around.

He was no longer sure of his guess.

No heaven would be this dark, right?

"This is the gap between life and death…"

"Poor child…"

As soon as Uchiha Madara's voice sounded, Tsuruki was stunned.

Uchiha Madara didn't change a single line!

It was exactly the same as the first time he fooled him!

Tsuruki silently smacked his lips.

Uchiha Obito was completely taken in by Madara's coaxing.

Tsuruki couldn't bear to watch.

"No!"

"I want to find Rin and Kakashi!"

Tsuruki was lost in thought when he heard Tobi's loud roar.

Uchiha Madara chuckled with an unclear meaning, "You will change your mind. That day is not far."

Uchiha Madara's words were already so obvious, Tsuruki didn't know how Tobi was fooled.

A normal person, after hearing these words and then experiencing Kakashi killing Rin, would surely suspect Madara, right?

But our Tobi didn't follow the usual path.

He just didn't suspect him.

Instead, he even worked for Uchiha Madara.

Tsuruki sighed silently.

Uchiha Madara left after dropping a very suggestive remark.

Tsuruki stepped forward, ready to increase his favorability.

"Are you hungry?"

"Do you want me to find you something to eat?"

Tsuruki selectively ignored the fact that Obito didn't need to eat.

Half of Obito's body was fused with White Zetsu, and he had been implanted with Senju Hashirama's cells, so he naturally didn't need to eat, drink, or excrete.

"Huh?"

Obito looked at Tsuruki, a blush appeared on his face, and he scratched his head with a smile: "Won't it be too much trouble for you?"

Tsuruki shook his head and chuckled softly, his gentleness almost unbelievable: "How could it be?"

"I'll be right back."

He walked out of the cave and called out Tobi.

"Get me some food."

Tobi: "…"

After all, he still had nearly one hundred favorability, so Tobi left quickly.

When he returned, he was holding a bento box.

Tsuruki walked in and sat beside Obito.

"You must be starving, right?"

"Hurry and try it!"

"I had a hard time finding this."

Tsuruki's eyes were gentle, like a spring pool, enveloping Obito.

Obito's heart warmed, and he automatically swallowed the words "I'm not really that hungry."
