Chapter 11 - The world is big-2/ Arya has his reason.

He puts back his glasses. And starts talking again.

" I deduced a formula, and used it on you. The formula I found was the formula that can only be applied to an infant, or an unborn child . I used the power of the box as the energy for you."

" Is that true, why isn't this public yet?" Asked supriya.

" You know why. And even if it did, there is only one in a million chance that the body will survive, not everyone can adapt to their genes being changed. Just like a different person needs different medicine for the same illnesses. And,,, I just don't bother to do such a thankless job."

" And you tested that on me, knowing what could happen?"

" I tested that on you knowing what could happen." And he looked at him.

"How much do you read about meta genes?"

"One and half pages that priya wrote in her general."

" Meta genes are not what we think they are. It's not the advanced data bank we think it is. A meta gene is different, it's like a dormant gene that is deactivated or gone offline for some reason, you can call it a locked lock for convenience, and to open that locker we need the code. And that code is hidden in our ancestry."

" We humans are much older than we thought, earth is around 4.5 billion years old . The universe we know of is 14.75 billion years old. And as we know, humans were around for only 20 thousand years. And we roughly only know about 5 thousand years of our history. And above and far away from that, whatever we know, we called it literature and myths. We don't know a thing." And he pauses.

"The entire universe we know of, is false. The entire origin we know of, all the physics we know of, if false. And he proves that. He breaks two rules of physics that we used to think is correct. And he broke them in less than an hour. Do you know why? Because his mind is beyond us, he is point two three percent smarter than a human. And to put it in a simple way, a chimpanzee is point two five percent less smarter than a human. And if his mind has a single two point more intelligence, he would have treated us the way we treat an animal. And that's why I wanted him to be here. I myself is point one nine percent smarter than a human. Einstein was point one percent smarter than a human and Your sister priya is point zero two percent smarter than a human, and that's why she is my personal student, cause she is the third smartest person that I know of, in science. And in other stuff, she is just dumb as me and him, in understanding very simple things ."

And he became silent, giving the stage to the audience.

Krishna understood that , and asked his question.

"Why now? Why did you call me here now, why not earlier?" And he adjusted his glasses a bit.

"When I had a fight with your mom, she left taking you and mother with her. And when I heard about their death, I was devastated, I didn't know what I should do. I blame myself and everything else, I stopped my research, stopped taking care of me . I realized what I was doing was wrong. I should have taken care of you, I should have given some to my family. And there I met Sakshi's mother, and she helped me to get out from the shell I made for myself. And things went well, I tried to play a part in her childhood and try to be a father that I never was for you." And he took a deep breath.

" I didn't know that you and mom and you had survived that accident. I didn't know till few months ago, when one of my colleagues saw you there. He brings a picture and shows me that, saying that he met a guy just like me. And when I saw it, I was shocked. I did some investigation and found you. I didn't know how to get in contact with you, or how to start it. I was looking for a way to get to you, when I noticed the strength you have, and the reason your grandma didn't allow you to go to the city or anywhere else. I know when the world knows about you, everything will be changed." And then he went quiet.

"Someone has stolen my formula." And they looked serious.

And he presented some files. And some incidents.

"An Intelligence division of China has seized a destroyed lab in some unknown location. And they found my research papers there. I don't know how they obtained it, but someone has stolen my formula."

And they looked at him. And a silence fell in the room. No one said anything.

"Something is happening." And they looked at him again.

" I had a dream. And I saw the world in ruins, and you, on top of the burning world."

 And their eyes widened.

And down a few minutes earlier with Dr Arya, he was storming a rage in his office. He was throwing books and other stuff, on the ground, and making a big mess around. He was frustrated, and furious. His junior has again done something that no one has ever done. He again outshone him. He is the great Dr Arya, who discovered the five element formula of life, one time nobel prize winner, three padmabhushan awards and other life achievements. And now, he was acting like a child.

"Not again." He throws a glass bottle, which shatters in impact. And one piece flew towards him, and hits in his face, making a small cut on his forehead. He yelled in anger, and then removed the piece of the glass from his forehead, and it started bleeding. He covered it with a cloth, and looked for bandages, and didn't find them. Blood was starting to get nasty, and it started to flow at a high speed. He went to the bathroom to look at the wound, and saw that it's big cut, and he needed some stitches. He washed some blood away, and went to the med area. It was almost the dawn of the sun. He went to the med area, and saw no one there. He took some sanitizers and other stuff, and started to clean his wound. And while he was doing it, someone walked in. And he heard a familiar voice.

"Dr Arya, are you ok?" And when he looked at the person who called for him, he saw Dr Priya, in her lab coat, looking at him. He asked what she was doing this late, and she replied she came here to look for some medicine for Dr Mehra, which he nodded. And she asked what happened to his head, to which he replied that he accidently broke a flask and it hit him in the head. And she asked if she could help him, which he accepted, knowing it'll be far better than doing it himself.

She starts to stitch the wound with the tools he has, and he quietly sits there, waiting for it to be over.

"Quite a cut, it must be big?"

"Yes! A one liter flask. Rohit gave me quite a shock again." He replied. And there was a small silence between them.

"So what've you been up to lately? Anything new?"

"No! Just helping Dr Mehra is his lab."

"Hmm! I always wonder why you intern with him instead of me. But then I realise that you'll know far more about things than me."

And she didn't reply, and just hummed, showing she listens, but not agreeing and not disagreeing either.

"I heard that you have been on a med leave recently, and for a particular reason."

"No! My friend was just a little worried." And he also hummed .

The situation was silent, and they both know that they can't trust the other, she was loyal to Rohit, and Rohit only, she would never do something that'll be bad for him, and he knows that.

"You know, what's common between us humans and fire?"

 And she replied .

"We both take oxygen." And he chuckles.

"Yes, that's correct, but metaphorically, fire represents us, our mortality. We both live long if the environment around us is safe for us. If it's constantly raining, heavy winds, stormy weather and dangerous like CO2 and fire extinguishers, and silent water, that's dangerous for fire, and us as well, isn't it?"

 And she looked at him.

"The fire can't survive in the water isn't it. It'll estiguest, like us if we didn't do anything. But you know what never estinguest?"

He asked her, and she didn't reply.

" A sun. A burning and raging sun. No matter how much water you throw in it, how much effort you put in it, it'll never stop burning. It'll always shine. A harsh forest fire can be stopped, a volcanic eruption might be stopped, but no one, no one can stop the sun. And when its end comes, it shines the most brilliant and ends with a bang. Giving the world back what he stored for ages."

" By dieing?" She asked.

" A dead sun is far more useful than a dead planet isn't it?"

" Can you use that sun ? "

"Can we use that planet?" Was Arya's reply.

" We have to think of future didn't we." He continued, but got no reply so he changes the topic.

"Do you know the evolution of fire?" He asked again.

" It starts with a small spark that's the result of friction between two forces, two different mass shapes and sizes. And then with enough fuel, the fire will start a chair reaction from the chemicals and the atoms of the fuel and the composer of oxygen. And the fire will remain as long as he is getting the fuel to be sustained or any other forces don't stop it from growing."

 And this time she replied.

" But what if it's got out of control, and becomes a prary fire that burns everything?" And he chuckled.

" But we still sell matches in stores." And then he looked at himself in the mirror.

"Stitches are done." He said breaking the thin ice that was formed when he said the last part . She's about to leave when he asked her a question.

"What's wrong with me?" And she looked at him.

 "I don't understand?"She said, a little shuttering, and puzzled.

"What's wrong with me? I want to know what I can do to improve myself." And she, after hearing that, looked thoughtful, like she was contemplating what to say. And soon, her mind got the answers, and she replied.

"Do you want me to be truthful or laminated once?" And he chucked.

" I'll like the laminated ones, but I want to hear the truth now." And he chuckled again. And she answered.

" You compare yourself to Dr Mehra too much." And the smile on Dr Arya's face stiffened a bit.

" You are one of the best scientists in India, even in the world, no one can deny that, not even Dr Mehra. Sir, You are fighting a fight, where there is no winner and a losser." And he, after hearing the full sentence, regained his composure and asked with a small smile.

" So what was your laminated once?" And she after thinking replied.

" You are running a race alone." And he chuckled.

" Should have just asked for the good one first." He said to himself.

" You are right, if I had asked the laminated once, I would have misunderstood your sentence as a praise. Anyway thank you for the stitches, and say thank you to Krish for me. He saved my niece tomorrow." And he left the med area, leaving a little stunned Priya behind.

Dr Arya entered his lab, he put down his glasses like Rohit, and sat down on his chair, rubbing his eyes and chuckled a bit, and said with little sarcasm.

" Even my old students are now teaching me." And he put his glasses back, a little annoyed, and looked at a photo of him and his son. He grabbed it and took the photo, and looked behind it.

" Best scientists of all time… – Love son. "

" I used to be ." And then he looked at the photo of him and colleagues, which also includes Rohit. And a look of determination flashed in his eyes, he put the photo back in his place. And his eyes looked at the cage where the mouse Jerry was.

Was, because he wasn't there anymore. He stood up slowly, his eyes a little serious. The cage wasn't a normal one. He looked around, and saw the broken glass on the floor and his fridge was open, and when he opened he saw Jerry, dead near the cheese block he had.

Sometimes later he sat back on his chair holding a pen in his hand, and recording a log, looking a little tired.

" Jerry was found dead half an hour ago inside the fridge, basic test results and analysis told that our little Superman, broke free the heavy duty glass container with brute force of his tail, and was able to guide himself to the nearest food source which was the half pound of regular cheese inside the fridge whose gate weight if fifteen kilogram, made out of lab grade aluminum and insulation. Log the cheese wasn't meant to be there." Then he pressed space and started another one.

" The cause of his death wasn't the cold that I had previously thought. It was because of a lack of nutrients Or in easy words, he was hungry, which can be seen in his macerated appearance. The camera footage shows that before the incident, our hero Jerry ate all the food rashan that I left for him way earlier, even though I put in more than necessary. And in depth analysis shows that his cells were growing faster, faster than the energy he was consuming, his cells withered way fast, and he started to age at an alarming rate, his body was trying to squeeze the energy from his cells. And the food wasn't giving him that much of it." And he pressed space again.

" The formula that I tried on Jerry proved the direction I was choosing was right. But the energy needed to fill the gaps wasn't. And now I'm very close to the answer I need. We just need to find that key. " And he pushed the chair and looked at the formula and sample he had.

" There is only one step missing." And his eyes showed that determined look.

And then he stands up. And looked at the camera.

" Welcome back to the new episode of Dr Arya's life changing events. It looks like my junior has again proven me wrong by doing the impossible, possible . And it looks like he has done it quite a while back. And by while back, I mean by his son Krishna. Or you may know him as our Hero Krish. And here with our own scientists Dr Arya, has completed half of what he has done years ago. But not to worry, as my old student said. I'm running a race alone. And she is right. But as a wise man one said. A race ends where the race begins. So let's end this race. And race like never before." And pause.

" Thank you for watching, keep on line, and see you soon."
