Author here going to make this a long one since last chapter I messed up. Now I got to make it up to you guys. Since this is going to be a long one. Please pray for my sanity of checking to see if my grammar is good. Since this bloody brain of mine is only wired to play games.š It also suffers from the crippling anxiety of never getting a girlfriend. Dying in a lonely abyss of endless darkness waiting for someone to blinkš« .
I also suffer from bread addiction can't get enough of them especially š„Æ can't get enough of them.š well back to the story.
Orion now realizes his problems are just going to continue. Why you ask? Simple he was summoned. Unlike pretending to have been a part of the world since the beginning. By walking through the gates of orario as a traveler. Orion "REQUESTED!" To be summoned so where the hell do you think that leaves him.
He is going to be the center piece of everyone's eyes. Even a certain goddess but he for now is safe since his armor given to him by Rick hides his soul unless fully taken off. After his thoughts settle he sees that only a couple seconds past. 'Huh how did only 10 or 5 seconds past it felt like mins?' (He can tell time due to the inbuilt clock in his HUD:HEADS UP DISPLAY)
Tasubaki seeing that he is not a threat for now. Starts letting lose a flurry of questions.
Tasubaki:"hey you Orion whatever your name is, what the is your armor made of? Who sent you here? How can you lift so much-" she was cut off by Hephaestus who was shocked at the stats she was seeing.
Hephaestus:"tasubaki get over here and look at his stats. It explains better then whatever this guy would say." 'That hurt.' Orion thought with a mental whimper. 'Getting that kind of remark from one of my favorite gods is going to leave a sting.'
Orion: "May I move goddesses or should I stay still?"
Hestia was confused how did he know they were gods? 'I don't believe any of us said we were gods. Just our names how..' what he said earlier flashed through her mind. "To serve those the same as my mother." 'Was his mother a goddess too?' Looking for answers she asked.
Hestia: "was your mother a goddess Orion?"
Orion: "not originally, she was human but due to the amount of people praying. As well as all the people seeing her as a god, she became one in the end."
The two goddesses cerious of what woman was capable of giving birth this creature. To them this level 10 yes level ten. Why level ten? If you don't know, all three races he is made of can destroy a planet. The other two can blow it up. So level ten is a great down level to what he is supposed to be. Honestly since we know what level 7s and level 9s can do it ain't much to say level ten isn't a high bar.
If a level 7 can be a threat to a level 9 then what is the point of leveling up fast if the gap isn't that big. Hell a level 7 is able to be defeated by a level 6. So while there is a level gap the power gap while wide is not so wide as to not be close able. Why am I saying this? Because even if he is level 10 from the start there are still sharks hunger this this little dragons blood. He may have the body and power of a level 10. He still however has none of the skill or experience.
Back to Hestia and Hephaestus after they got out of their shock. Hephaestus first thought was how lucky Hestia is. Not only to get a system similar to the falna. But turns out it is a system made to help her. With it summoning a level 10 adventurer for her.
If that wasn't enough. It looks like he is going to give her the same amount of loyalty as ottar does for freya.
With how much luck hestia was getting. Hephaestus couldn't help but feel envious. It wasn't even the second day and she is already had more than enough to take both kings of orario and win. Right now if anything giving this church would have been useless either way. One because she would have needed to grow out of it. And now because it is too small. She was given a 10 foot monster that couldn't fit through her own front door anymore. The best and only thing that she can do to help her friend. Try and keep information of where Orion came from secret.
Hestia on the other hand is just turning into a pikachu. With how electric she is with excitement she could be confused for a god of lightning right now. The one to cut both out of their contemplation was Orion himself.
Orion: "what would you have me do, my goddess."
Hestia noticed they didn't answer his previous question replied.
Hestia: "follow me and Hephaestus to the guild there we can forge your identity."
Hephaestus: "Hestia how are we going to explain a giant manage to pass the gates of orario? Not only that one who is as easy to spot as a certain black dragon. So how are you going to convince everyone he came in through the gates?"
Hestia who was running on a excitement high. Her joyful expression came crashing down like a thunder storm. She had forgot what the other gods and peoples reactions would be. So she and Hephaestus had to come up with a plan.
While the two goddesses were having fun making a plan. Tasubaki was busy trying to pry the secrets of the armor Orion wore.
Tasubaki: "Hey Orion how is your armor made? I don't recognize the metal. Is it something from your world?"
Orion look at her and spoke not as loud as before. A more quieter tone " Yes it is made from the materials of my old world. I doubt to find anything close in its strength and power."
Tasubaki: "What is the material called? We might have it here too. Or something similar."
Orion: "auric-adamantium the same as the armor the empress wore."
'I will keep the fact I can draw power from it a secret for now.' Orion thought to himself.
Replying like a kid who just got a Christmas present. Tasubaki gleamed with a smile.Tasubaki: "Huh we have adamantite here, I wonder if they are the same. We will have to test it out see which one is stronger."
'I don't remember her being this excited about new armor. Must think I can make more ore like the one used to forge my armor.' Orion thought with a confused look on his face. The three near him never would see it though due to the mask hiding his face and emotions.
We then look over to the two goddesses who have finished their plan. It was simple but risky have him sneak out and walk through the gate. Problem.. the walls are to thick to punch through without makeing a huge commotion. They could climb the wall. That is where they hit their next problem. Patrols would see them. Thus the last option was to dig a tunnel.
Hestia: "Orion please come here."
Quick as a puppy hearing the word treat runs over to his goddess. 'Got to play the loyal puppy act. Yeah definitely an act. Right?'
Hestia and Hephaestus once Orion got near told him the plan.
Short time skip.
It was morning Orion woke up and began to make his way to the city. During night he dug a tunnel to the out skirt of the city limits. Where even with his massive frame looked small. Walking up to the gate entrance to orario Orion gathered the back story he came up with in his mind. He is a traveler came to orario to find a god worth serving. Just like all the other adventures in orario.
This is not going to be a problem. Getting in to orario is easy. Explaining his level on the other hand. How the hell does he explain his level. Then he got it as he was about to get to the gate entrance. That was guarded by two guards and 5 genesha familia members.
As he saw the family members he look for any he knew. 'None from the show here huh.' As he scanned the faces none matched the any he knew. 'Wait how do I remember every memory I have so clearly?' As he searched his memory he was able to remember every detail. Even what he was doing or what every part of the room look like. The problem being he wasn't able to do this before. 'Must be a perk of this body. To be able to recall things like they were a video. Cool if I meet brother again got to thank him for this body.' As he finished that thought he was at the gate.
The guard on his left spoke to him first " Please name the reason of coming to orario. If you are looking to stay and become an adventure please head to the guild first. They will fill out your forms. If you're an traveling merchant come to trade please follow the genesha familia to the trade center." The guard on the right look at the one on the left and said "Mike you really think this guy is a merchant? Or even wants to be a merchant. Look at his armor and try and convince me he is merchant."
The guard on the left trying to cover his idiot mistake says "Hey you never know he might be a merchant." The guard on the right messages his temples because of his friend's idiocy. "Sir please follow one of the genesha members to the guild. There you will sign some papers stating name and reason for travel. Have a great day."
Orion taken it back at how none of them stop him. For crying out loud he looks like he is supposed to be a knight sent by the chaos demons. With the horns and everything coming form his helmet. 'I should maybe reply.' "Thank you for the acistance I will head to the guild now." With that the guard on the right shouted for one of the adventures. " Samson we got someone that came here to become an adventurer! "
The that was called stood up and cheerfully told Orion to follow him. While he walk away one of the guards he assumed Mike was complaining about how that wasn't protocol.
"So what made you want to come and become an adventurer." Samson trying to make small talk asked Orion.
Orion aticapating small talk answered with a made up story. "I wanted to be like my father. He was a noble man not just in title but in actions. He was named Vulkan the humble. He was in service of a emperor when I last saw him. He got his title Vulkan the humble when during a bet he admitted defeat. The bet he made with a man was if one them brought back a bigger kill they would win. When they both came back my father had his kill and his opponent had nothing. When they both came back the people thought it was my fathers win. That however was the farthest thing from the truth from my fathers eyes. He saw it as his loss. As the people didn't see his opponent sacrificed his own kill. Which was double the size of what my father killed. This led to him bowing and humbling emitting he had loss. Because it was my fathers actions, that led to him having to sacrifice his bigger kill just to save him."
As the tale was being finished they reached the guild. As they reached the guild Samson let out a whistle " dam that was a interesting story. Well we're here now so let's head in. Oh and watch your head you might hit the top of the doorway." Bending down Orion made into the guild hall. There he met with Samson at a desk. After getting to the desk Samson introduced him to a guild receptionist. "This is Misha she will help you from here on out. Am going to head off back to my team. If I take any longer they might think I ditched them to go have fun. See ya!"
Waving his hand he left. Orion was the first to speak as Samson left. Having to put effort to try and not scare the little girl. " I am Orion I would like to setup as an adventure." Misha surprised by his deep voice replied "welcome to orario Mr.Orion. Please follow me to a room so we can fill out your paperwork. As they walked into room Orion notice why they went to a room. His hands were to big to hold a quill or pencil. This troubled him since he couldn't write stuff down. "Please take a seat." Seeing he was still standing misha offered for him to take a seat. Before Orion put his full weight onto the chair. It began creaking and groaning under pressure.
As he heard that he that he stood back up saying " I fear this chair will break if I sit on it."
Misha not knowing what to do in this situation replied "Then I am sorry you have to stand for now Mr.Orion." Standing on the opposite side across from misha. He began answering the questions she was asking. She wrote every answer and shorten the long answers. She then led Orion back to the front desk. Now that your paper work is done please come with me and I will show you the Camila's you can join right now. Taking him to the side there was a book filled with familias. It showed what the familias are about and where to find them. After searching through he found the one he was looking for. Hestia familia was the name he ask misha to stop at. When he saw the page. He recalled that hestia. Told him she was going to setup her familia information at the guild. All he had to do was pick it. Then that was step 1 of the problem done. After selecting hestia's familia he went to go back to the church. After that whole feasco he was back to his goddess.
"Welcome back Orion!" Hestia yelled cheerfully and hugged his leg. If she jumped on him she would have hurt her self on the metal. After he got back he noticed Hephaestus was there with tasubaki not there anymore. 'Must think am not a threat anymore.' He thought to himself. Hephaestus looked at the two of them and said.
"Hestia we need to have THE TALK with Orion."
This is the end of this chapter since I know who ever is read this waited a long time for it.
The spacing is different here since I went back and space it out on my phone. I notice after reviewing the previous chapter that some parts were. Well put together on the phone. So will be using my phone to space thing apart from here on out.
