Author here. yeah the last bit of chapters were. Let's just say late and lacking in words. The reason? I got space marine 2 so been grinding for items and gear. So yeah sorry any way into the chapter.

We begin this chapter not where we left off. Instead we begin in a void. In this void is a room that has a bed and the most advanced looking gaming rig. It was Rick's room with his black and red color scheme. He middle monitor turned on and showed a screen. This screen showed a camera position you would find in a live action or anime show. However the screen instead of playing a show. Was showing what hestia was doing. Like one of those life sim games he clicked and zoomed out with his mouse. Watching someone else, Orion. Seeing as today would be the day for Denetus. Rick decided he has to watch closely. Intervening if he saw the gods try and do something stupid.
He heard twitching through his headphones he was wearing. Turning the the view to the left he saw Hestia moving around on her bed. "Can't believe he managed to control his lust around the women. Granted hestia and pip squeak in the corner really don't count. But him controlling himself with Hephaestus and reveria? Dam should have sent him to mushoko tensei. He would have done a better job then our "little devil". All that prick does is laze around." Sighing rick continued talking out loud to no one in particular. "Oh what am I going to do. I need three generals two are doing good right now but i need them to hurry up. If I can get Jim and John to get better control over their powers faster. I could have two rooks to put on the board. I need to get my knight ready. He is going to be the key to my plans. So hurry up Micheal your going to be the knight and sword I will use." Saying that he turned his head to his left monitor with a list of pictures. Each one a picture of his Brothers. He then scrolled through the pictures to one picture in particular. "You will be the one I need to keep in check. If you find out about them. You will definitely kill them to keep all of us safe." Chuckling to himself he then scrolled to Orion and John pictures. Then typed their new alias next to their real names. "Orion Maximus pax and satanos owl goan." Turning back to his first screen to continue watching waiting till it was time.
"Orion and satanos you guys got to hurry up. But I will enjoy your little tales for now." Saying that he sat back played some music and ate a steak, mash potatoes and peas. With wine and other stuff he made.
Heading back to Hestia she just woke up. The meeting for the gods starts off in the morning. 9:00 am to be percice. So hestia got up to get ready. Waking up at 7:43 but only Orion who had a built in clock on his hud knew. As Hestia got ready and brushed her teeth. Orion place a plate of food on the table. "Morning goddess want some breakfast?" Orion ask seeing her finally mentally waking up. What he made was pancakes with home made syrup. He then got another plate full of scrambled and sunny side up eggs. He then place the final plate full of bacon. Hestia smelling the food instantly woke up. Orion after getting the food ready prepare his cup of coffee. Getting his milk and suger ready. Hestia didn't waste time and dug into her food.
"So what you thinking of doing today Orion?" Hestia ask while having food in her mouth. As she ask Orion was coming up with what to do. "I am going to clean more then go looking for a good house for our familia to grow in. Better then this church. I do however have a better plan for this church. It could be used to house new members. While the house will hold older and veteran members. The care and quality of the church will depend upon how well the new members take care of it. This will give us an insight on what new members we will be bring in." Hearing Orions plan Hestia was surprised and couldn't help but agree. "Yeah that is a great plan.
WOW Orion didn't know you were such a good planer. When do you think we will leave the church?" Orion did some rough calculations estimating how long till he can buy a house he wants. Then he remembered the war games. Apollo vs Hestia familia in particular how it gave them a big mansion and money. So instead of wasting time looking for a good house or building. Just take one. However he knew Apollo after finding out how powerful he is would just back down. So he decided waiting for a certain incident to demand a war game.
Answering Hestia truthfully he told her "I don't know. I don't know how much mansions cost to build or own. So am going to find out. I will let you know what I find my goddess." After saying that Orion downed his coffee and headed out. "Goodbye Orion don't cause trouble." As she said that Lili woke up saw the food and ask if hestia cooked food. "No Orion made it grab some before heading out. Oh and don't worry I will talk to Dionysus about you. Am sure he will let you leave his familia. If that doesn't work I will have Orion punch the whole familia to give you up." Lili hearing this just smiled happily. Feeling weird for the first time in her life. People being kind without any alternative reason. At least to her.
As Lili and Hestia finished their food. Hestia had to go to the meeting. Lili stayed in the church. since running into one of the soma famila members isn't exactly good.
Rick watching all this saw Hestia leave for the great hall. All the gods attend the Denetus this time. Ouranos included which surprised the regular attendees.
RICK'S POV:
'I see all the "Gods" get into the great hall. Time to sit back and watch then wait till I have to intervene. I better get that form up and ready or else this will be a problem. Ohhh I am going to use the Vader form. Hehe Orion is going to hate this. Wonder what I should say when I get there.
In darth vaders voice "I am Orions father."
Oh yeah that is going to be a good one to say. Going to piss off Orion though. Hehehe So worth it. Oh they're about to start the meeting time to get the popcorn and drinks.' He then teleported a carton of popcorn 🍿 and a soda can with a straw. As Orion watches, the gods start their meeting.
Hermes was the one to speak first. "Since most of us are here already let's just begin the meeting." All the gods present nodded in agreement. "First of all it's a surprise to see you here Oronus what brings you here?" A random god said. "Yeah aren't you usually sitting on that throne? What ever got you out must be big. You never come to the meetings." Another one added as all gods looked to Oronus. Oronus couldn't help but sigh at the big headache he was about to experience. "There is a matter that I must bring to everyone's attention. Lest someone actually do something stupid." This got all the gods attention, Ouranos having something to say. This would be something big all the gods have to know about. "WOW! The never showing up Ouranos has something to say? Now this is something I got to see." Hermes with a glint in his slightly closed eyes said.
The hall erupted in whispers and murmurs.'He has something to say now this is going to be a fun. So what news do you wish to bring Oranus?' Hermes thought, but the words that came out of Ouranos mouth silenced the entire hall. "We have gotten the attention of a traveler." Silence filled the hall as all knew the meaning of that world. To mortals it meant a person traveling the world. But to gods it meant a person so powerful they traveled anywhere they wanted. To know a being like that took an interest in their world. It was scary to think that.
To the gods it was as if a man with a gun came into their home. That man had the power to decide if you live or die. Unless you had a gun of your own your not going to feel safe. This was what they felt. They had a gun their own powerful gods. The question that they all had now was. Who had the bigger gun. Safe to say it was Rick.
Right now the gods were freaking out. Some were interested in finding out what the traveler was interested in. Others feared what he wanted. One god right now was more interested then bothered by the notion of the traveler. It was of course freya. She wanted to know if he was her odr. A soul not from this world different from everyone.
Hestia was nervous right now. If all these gods knew the center of attention was her. Then they would all make her tell them. Ouranos seeing most of them near panic, didn't try anything to make them do something rash. But unfortunately it was to late Hermes ask a question he couldn't easily dodge. "Do you know what he wants or is after?" Hermes had a serious face now since this would explain something that's been bothering him. 'Orion is their avatar or someone they put into our world. I need to know how this being operates or else my plans will be ruined. If I can't find the kid Zeus entrusted to me I can't protect him.'
Ouranos answered Hermes question truthfully "The being is protecting and helping hestia and her first familia member. His name is Orion as am sure everyone has heard." This made all gods look at Hestia. Some with worry for a friend. The rest with fear and resentment. Because all know what this means. If she had the backing of a being like that. Even the Zeus and Hera families in their prime wouldn't be able to touch her.
They now had to make sure either don't catch her eye. Or get the attention of her familia members. Right now freya or Loki weren't the kings anymore it was one and it was Hestia. All the gods knew this. Hermes trying to lighten the mood and see if he could get some information. Said "Well that's a shock. Hestia should we be expecting actual children of Hestia? Instead of adopted children from anywhere." Hestia began to blush in embarrassment. She wanted that to be true. Spending almost eternity alone. Being shot down the moment she saw Orions reaction to her question made it clear to her. She wasn't going to find him as a potential partner.
"It isn't like that for Orion or that mysterious being. I don't think they see me that way."
Hermes quick wittily said "think? You think that? Can you for a fact know that the traveler didn't choose you for a specific reason?" Hestia then let out something that made Hephaestus face palm. "Well Orion said he wanted to serve someone like his mother." Hermes had to ask curiosity poking through. "Like his mother? Are you telling me his mother is a god like us?" Hestia not knowing she is revealing more then she needs to. "Yes he said she became a goddess." Only after the words came out of her mouth. Only then did she realize her mistake. She quickly covered her mouth. Hermes seeing and hearing her words questioned her.
"So you knew all this time that Orion was not from this world? You also knew you were getting help from that being?" Hestia panicked and quickly said "no no no no no I didn't mean that I uh." Hestia dug her own grave she hadn't prepared for the nervousness that hit her when all the gods eyes were on her. "I'd say we all team up and push this being away from our home. Our lands and our place. Who knows what they want to do. Cause chaos and destruction or just pass by. But I say we let them know we aren't going to lay down and take the hit. We will take them head on and face them." One of the rowdy war gods said. Followed by cheers from other death and war gods. Seeing this Ouranos couldn't help but sigh. The war and death gods were always so egotistical. Their pride and belief in that they are the strongest of most gods gave them aragonce that equals and surpasses their confidence. They all think that they are the best but. The best among the many of them believing they are the strongest. To bad for them they are not.
Ouranos seeing everyone saying that was a good idea wanting to join in. Only the smart gods seeing Ouranos hadn't agreed didn't say a thing. Ouranos then said something that shut everyone up. "I am sure if all of us teamed up together we wouldn't even touch him. The most we will be able to do is block one attack." One of the gods of war ask "Why is that Ouranos all off our power combined. Should take down anyone." Tired from stupidity Ouranos laid it out flatly. "I saw the power of that being. It was far greater than anything we have. We are mortals infront of its age. Our power is that of children infront of him. I tried getting rid of Orion from our world ONCE. Only once, because after I saw the huge difference in strength. I saw all of tenkkai couldn't hurt him." This shut up the gods of war and death. It meant that even with the stronger gods of tenkkai. If they combined would not be enough.
They all went back to murmuring among themselves. Then another god asked a question. "What did he want? Do we know what he attends to do with our world?" Ouranos was about to say something till all felt it. A presence. "I believe you are all talking about me." A dark and deep voice came from the hall way. Instantly every god understood. They are children in front of this being. The being that is Rick. Out of the survival instinct for one god. He tried to attack Rick, before he could even reach him. Rick held his form mid air. He then the gods enitre being every inch of his soul into the form. Every god felt it he then did something all gods feared would happen. Complete eradication not a inch of soul left. Nothing to prove his existence besides the memory of the god in other gods minds. All mortals part of his familia and all beings that know him. If they weren't as powerful as a god forgot.
'This type of killing is he a ancient traveler? Only them and a couple others can do that. We have gotten the attention of someone no one can fight. I agree with Ouranos.' He said gazing to Ouranos and nodding solemnly. 'If all tenkkai united we would just gathering for a easier kill.' Rick sensing everything was destroyed stopped and said. "Now that the nuciance is gone. Let us get on with why I am here." Rick controlling the avatar from far far away. In his void realm infront of his screen. "If they knew it was a void being and not an accident traveler. They would be shitting forget bricks but their organs and godly bits." Back to his avatar. "I am here to talk with you all. I am the brother of Orion. I wish to inform you all why I have sent him here." Hestia was the first to ask. "Your Orions brother?" Rick said with clear annoyance at being interrupted. "Yes I am you may call me.
R.I.C.K ." (If you haven't figured it out his name is an acronym for his real name.)
Aome gods turned their head from confusion. Others simply wondered out loud "RICK?" Rick then continued "I sent him here to control his new powers. Permission granted to me by his mother." Hephaestus had to ask "Hestia said he wanted to serve another like his mother. Is she another god like us?" All other female goddess were now curious what the empress. Mother of Orion looked like.
Rick with a slight joyful tone. "I will do you one better and bring his mother here. She wanted to meet one he would be serving."
In a massive beam of light that would put anything Apollo or any other god of light to shame. What came out was a tall muscular woman. A slight dark skin tone, muscular feminine build. She had a helmet on that look like a spartan helmet and a waist golden belt. Boob plate bra with a strap holding it. A robe like skirt covering her legs down to here knees. She towered over all but slightly small than Orion in this form. Her voice was motherly and slightly sweet. A deep feminine voices you would usually hear from your mother.
She said looking at Hestia "So you are the one Orion is serving." Hestia hearing her voice and seeing her form was stunned. 'No wonder Orions so big just look at his mother. That begs the question who the hell is his father.' "I am Hestia goddess of home and the hearth. I always wanted to meet Orions mother but I didn't expect you to come here."
The empress who was really another being like Rick that owned him a favor. "I am the empress of the imperium. The one called by my subjects as the goddess of humanity. However honestly I hate the very notion of belief or religion. May I ask if I could see my son one more time?" The empress looked both at Hestia and Rick. "I do not mind this interaction but I don't know if Hestia will agree." Rick says but Hestia immediately agreed. "I would love for Orion to see you. He talks about so much that I can't help but want him to see you one more time." Rick secretly gave a mental warning to Orion warning him what is going to happen. So Orion just said one word showing his understanding. "Affirmative." With that in a beam of light Orion was transported to the god realm. Inside the great hall Orion saw ever one standing but as soon as his eyes met the empress. He knelt and took off his helmet immediately. "Mother." He spoke trying to sound surprised and shocked. "It is good to see you mother. H-How are you able to come here?" Orion cracked his voice a bit to sound like a child who just saw their parent after a long day. Hearing this the other gods were also shocked. To hear such a big man sound like a child.
The empress spoke in a gentle tone. Like a mother coaxing her child to stop crying. "Raise your head my son and come here." Doing as he was told he went right infront of his "mother" just as he did his mother wrapped him in a hug. "I missed you my son. I-I am sorry I was not able to save you." Orion playing along said in a happy voice. "You have nothing to apologize for mother. I died doing what I love defending you and the imperium." Ending the hug and cupping his right cheek. She kissed his forehead and held him close to her chest. This scene moved the hearts of some gods. Mostly the female goddess since they wished so badly to have their own actual children. Watching the interaction freya was interested. Orions mother soul to her was pure golden. Shining like a sun. Golden and pure in color being able to see straight through. Holding Orion the empress sniffed his head a little and then let out a small smile. "I see my son has finally fallen in love." Moving away from his mother. Quickly putting on his helmet to hide a blush. "No I have not I don't know what you mean mother."
Orion through a mental link with Rick said 'not cool reviling my crush dude.' Rick with a sly smile hides by the darth Vader mask 'oh that wasn't me she is not an avatar of mine. She is another being like me who owns me a favor. Hearing this Orion had to control the dark thoughts he just had. 'You really had to reveal that mate? Ok who is she and can you tell her it was not a cool move.' Rick replied 'she is playing the role I asked don't blame her she is a good actor at playing mother.' Sighing Orion talks out loud "I may like someone but I don't think she might like me mother. So please don't say anything more about it." The empress in a scolding tone "I am your mother and a mother always knows. I want to know who managed to take my dear son's heart. Hmm let me try and sense who it is." Out of fear Orion asked Rick 'can she do that?' Rick in a mocking tone said 'Yup!' Orion out of terror tried to stop her but it was to late. "Oh so your the one. Hmm go figure he always said he liked women like you." The empress was now infront of Hephaestus. Bending down to stare into her eyes. Or eye in this case. "MOTHER PLEASE!!" Orion in desperation screamed. Now stiff as a nail he begged. "I would like it if you please stop embarrassing me." The empress just sighed "fine have it your way son. I will come when the wedding is going to happen. That will be possible right Rick?" Rick with a mocking tone said "oh absolutely I shall get everything ready. So when should we be expecting a wedding brother." Orion understanding the tone in his brothers voice. "Brother why do you say it as if it is inevitable?" Rick had a slight panic in his mind as he came up with a quick cover up. "Well she appears to have the same feelings for you brother." The empress felt the same too and agreed. "I agree with Rick son she smells the same when I met your father." Orion now both embarrassed and a little disturbed screamed. "Mother!" Then all heads including freyas turned to Hephaestus in surprise. "Huh?!" All gods question in amazement.
Hephaestus blushed a bit and was now trying to calm down. But a little pink was seen on her face. Before this continued Orion asked the reason they were here. "Why are you here Mother? Also you brother?" Rick was the one to answer "to stop all gods and idiots from doing something stupid. Like trying to send you out from this universe." Orion then looked at all the gods. "I see. How about you mother? The imperium can't exist without you there."
The empress then headed to Orion and held out her hand. "To give you this. A gift created by your sons of the black dragon legion." Then in her hands a power sword black and gold. With a shining red and gold power emitted from it. Orion took it gently and ask his mother. "Would you please tell them all I am proud of them. I am also thankful and happy to receive this gift from them. I would love it if you were able to give them this message as well. A chip was then given to the empress. It holds a long message ment for my sons. Please send it to them." Orions mother smiled and took the chip. "I will be leaving now since there is nothing I need to do. It was good seeing you son." She held in head close one last time with golden light disappeared. With her final moments saying one last sentence. "Orion my son, I love you now and always." Orion then felt something on his face. When he realized what it was he questioned 'why? Why am I crying?' Never having a mother all his life. He couldn't understand why he was crying.
"Now that everything is done I can safely say all the gods have been warned. I will be heading back now. Orion I will send you back to the church." Rick sent Orion back to the church in a beam of golden light. As Orion disappeared Rick created a portal of darkness. "This will be your first and final warning. Don't do anything stupid or else you will be erased." Rick then left in the portal.
One god sumed up the entire event in one word. "Fuck."

End of this chapter guys since I realized how long it is taking for me to upload it. Again sorry for the long wait space marine 2 been hella fun. Oh before I go, STOP SENDING POWER STONES!!!
