The snarebloods and Marked rogues were both hired assassins because they didn't just attack a pack without a reason. In the last few months, Green Moss pack had done nothing worthy of being envious that'd make those nosy monsters come targeting and trying to sabotage her game.
Please, I wasn't stupid. Since the report came weeks ago about rogue attacks, and how the scent markers had failed to detect their infiltration, I had immediately guessed someone within the pack had allowed them in. Someone powerful enough to pull the strings from behind and cancel the effectiveness of the marker placed around the pack boundaries to detect harmful beings like the rogues.
