ARIA
The anger simmering in my veins spiked to 100 degrees Celsius. My heart kicked up, and my wolf surged. Wild. Restless. Urging me to pull him closer, to feel his warmth. But when I reached for her, she vanished, leaving me empty. And Atlas filled the void.
I wanted to stay mad at him. To shove him away and scream that he had no right, not after he was the one who pushed me aside. But gods, his scent… Vetiver and musk slipped through the air, coiling around me.
Every inhale dragged more of him into me, until my chest ached with the effort to keep breathing. I grew dizzy, my knees buckled, and heat pooled low in my belly.
"Aria." Atlas's voice rumbled, snapping me out of my thoughts as I looked up at him, swallowing. "Their names."
"What names?" I fixed him with my stare.
His molten Amber eyes widened in disbelief before he scoffed. "Really? You want to play this game with me?"
