LANCE
That was a bait question. I saw the emotion cross Aria's face, and somehow I felt bad for using her wolf. Wolves were essential to werewolves, and I knew she'd fall for the bait.
But it was either that or nothing. There was no way I'd let her slip out from under my nose after searching for her for so long. Also, what Aria didn't know was that she could leave freely and even return if she desired. Yeah, it was the perks of being a Moonfire, whether with her powers or not.
"Are you sure about that?" She whispered, taking a step towards me, her hand clutching her chest tight. "Why didn't I know?"
I gave a brief nod, sighing softly. "Two days ago, when you were out, it was decided by the Shaman and grandfather that it needed to be done, so that you can control the entity inside you. Only with your wolf powers, and who knows, the nightmare you've been having might leave, too."
"You know I have nightmares?" She questioned, her eyes wide with disbelief.
