While Tribal remained with his earthly senses inactive, Adargas instructed Elshua:— My presence will be everywhere. I will always be listening, always watching. Never feel abandoned. I know everything that will happen...
Adargas looked tenderly at Tribal's sleeping body, still covered by the blue mist of the Ether of Creation.— You will stay in my place on Earth. You will try to help your brother evolve. He will suffer all the pains from which we were spared.
I will be him, and he will be me.He was born from the energy of this planet… he will walk upon it and learn from you.His understanding will be limited, but it will grow.Do not reveal yourself until he is ready.Be his guide, my son Elshua.
Adargas departed. Not because he gave up. But because his presence was too vast to be contained. His spirit dissolved into the cosmic fabric, becoming part of all things. He was in everything—yet visible in nothing. His breath lingered in the wind, his strength in gravity, his wisdom in the space between atoms. His love, now, was deposited in Tribal.
Tribal was born. Not as men are born. He came into the world with the body of an adult, but with the innocent glow of a newborn in his eyes. A body without time, a blank soul.
His first steps were guided by Elshua, who watched him from afar, with the tenderness of a brother… and the care of a father.
Decades passed like days. Tribal ran, learned, fell and rose again. He played with the animals, dove into oceans, climbed mountains. He felt the pain of hunger, cold, and fatigue — but he did not die.His wounds closed the very instant they occurred. There was no blood in his cuts, no scars on his skin.
The Earth shaped him like a sculptor molding clay with love: slow, patient, alive.
Elshua accompanied him, invisible yet present. He did not speak, he did not interfere — he only felt.He admired Tribal's growth with eyes moist with longing.
The brother created, even without knowing it. New creatures arose in the most forgotten corners of the world, reflections of his dreams, desires, and fears.
And then, on an ancient night, moonless, under the glow of a million silent stars…Tribal stopped.
— Who's there?! — he shouted, looking around.— Who are you that follows me? I hear your steps, but I cannot see you!
Elshua tried to respond. His voice came out like a breeze.
Tribal did not hear. The silence was too deep. But something within him felt it.
His heart raced. For the first time, Tribal knew what it was to feel the presence of another. He was ready to feel love.
Tribal had walked alone in his thoughts for many years. He did not perceive the passage of time — the blue dot was vast, infinite in its wonders. There was always something new to discover.
But even in his solitude, Elshua was by his side. Always smiling. Always present. Silent, yet constant.
Much time passed since Tribal had first sensed that presence.Until, by chance of destiny…Looking at the horizon, as he had so many times before, Tribal saw a point standing out in the distance.
Curious, he walked for hours toward that growing image. He reached the foot of a great mountain.
He felt he needed to see beyond. And then he climbed.
At the summit, gazing upon the world, he was overwhelmed by a feeling of fullness. His body felt light, his soul free.He floated.
And, in a spontaneous gesture — without fear, without reason — Tribal leapt. He was flying.
The landscape rushed past his eyes like an eternal film. Seconds turned into hours.Every detail was recorded. He felt part of the sky.
Until, in the soft twilight, he saw a silhouette shining in the distance.
The form became clear: it was Elshua. His expression worried. His arms outstretched. He tried to reach him.
At the moment their eyes met, Tribal was startled.Something changed.A chill ran through his body.Joy gave way to fear.He came back to himself — literally.
The depth swallowed him. The danger was now real.
And then, with a cry that tore the sky:— WHO ARE YOU? HELP ME!
Elshua, for some reason, could not reach his brother. It was as if an invisible barrier, forged in the deepest laws of creation, kept him from touching him. Tribal was not like the creatures of other worlds. His essence was singular, indecipherable, a union of the planet's matter with the divine spark of Adargas.
But, in an eternal instant, the barrier broke.
Elshua felt his body become dense, real. For the first time since he had watched the Earth, he materialized fully. With a swift and determined gesture, he grasped Tribal in midair. And in a single thought — that crossed space and time — both were on the ground, safe.
Tribal looked at the being before him. His eyes reflected the confusion of a newborn before the world, but in his heart there was peace. He did not understand who this was who had saved him, but he felt with absolute certainty: it was someone good.
The silence between them was more eloquent than a thousand words. For the first time, Tribal was not alone.
