Chapter 212 - Distress Call from the Chat Group

Several hours later, the no-man's-land that once occupied a large area of Z-City had become a battlefield of utter devastation.

Scattered everywhere were the ruins of buildings and the corpses of various monsters.

With the last Black Sperm annihilated by Atomic Samurai's blade, all the heroes couldn't help but breathe a collective sigh of relief.

Bang, who had been injured and watched the entire battle, sighed, "The Monster Association is truly a terrifying opponent. I can't even imagine how we could have won this battle head-on without One-Punch Man here."

"Isn't that because you guys kept trying to find monsters that matched your fighting styles, which is why it took so long?" Hakuyo, leaning his head against the plane, retorted.

Faced with Hakuyo's response, the injured heroes couldn't help but chuckle awkwardly.

Originally, with Saitama's strength, he could have wiped out the entire Monster Association without any trouble in at most an hour.

But this group of deadweight heroes had to show off their skills, letting Saitama hold the fort while they went off to fight monsters one-on-one.

Facing Platinum Sperm and other monsters whose strength had reached the peak of the Dragon Level, most of them were beaten badly in the end, and they still had to rely on Saitama to take action.

Looking at the bald man who had not a single scratch on his battle suit after repeated battles and who could秒杀 anyone with a single punch, everyone couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence.

At the same time, these people also turned their attention to Hakuyo.

They hadn't forgotten that during the hero meeting just now, the bald man, who was so terrifyingly strong and had no interest in anything, had actually taken the initiative to propose a fight with Hakuyo.

Then, what level would Hakuyo's strength reach?

"Since it's all over, I'll leave the remaining battlefield cleanup work to you," Hakuyo said from the side.

Because Saitama was there, he didn't need to do anything at all, so he was just watching the entire process of subduing the monsters. Anyway, as long as the Monster Association was wiped out, it would be fine.

And with the end of this battle, everything ushered in peace for the next month.

Besides the occasional Demon Level monster being eliminated, Hakuyo's life had entered a period of calm.

Most of his day was spent eating, sleeping, and hanging around Tatsumaki.

Counting the time, it wouldn't be long before he could return to Sovereign Space and end this mission.

But just as Hakuyo's daily life was getting back on track, a problem appeared in the chat group.

[Sin City Civilians]: @Deep Blue, please, you must help me! [Deep Blue]: What happened there? In the middle of Gotham City at night, Gavin knelt on the ground, looking at the burning villa area in front of him with a look of utter despair.

Inside were his family and children, but they had all been consumed by a fire.

Behind him, Batman, in his black armor, looked at the scene silently. He knew something about the culprit of the fire; it should be the Penguin.

For the past month, Gavin's heroic activities had begun to affect the interests of the underworld, and naturally, there were those who wanted to kill him.

And Gavin's identity wasn't hard to find. Anyone with some intelligence gathering capabilities could learn about a suddenly wealthy tycoon in the central district.

Everything that followed was logical. Facing the Gotham City underworld's attack, Gavin, who was a step too late, could only watch the explosion.

In the chat group, after Hakuyo spoke, Gavin, as if grasping at a lifeline, concisely stated his current situation, leaving the group members stunned.

So, he played the role of a justice partner and messed up? [Deep Blue]: What do you want me to do? Help you get revenge?

Faced with Hakuyo's question, Gavin hesitated for a long time before saying, "I can take revenge myself, but I want you to revive my family. Can you do that? I'm willing to give everything I have?"

[Deep Blue]: "No time! You're still alive anyway. I have some things to deal with right now. I'll consider it in a few days when I have some free time."

"Why..." Rejected by Hakuyo, Gavin was somewhat distraught.

The previously generous Senior Deep Blue was now so cold, but Stark, who was watching from the sidelines, knew very well that this was Hakuyo's worldview.

That is, a friend of a friend is not his friend.

Not to mention, Gavin had been in the chat group for over a month, and he hadn't been very active in the group. He hadn't even managed to get familiar with the big shots.

He never lit incense, and now he wanted Hakuyo to help him. Where did he get the nerve?

Standing in front of the ruins of the villa, Gavin fell into a long silence.

After a long while, he slowly got up, collected the corpses, and turned to walk towards the night.

"Where are you going?" Batman asked from behind Gavin.

"To seek revenge. Don't stop me. Whoever stands in my way will die." Facing the moonlight, Gavin said without turning his head, burying his anger in his words.

Watching Gavin's back, Batman hesitated, considering whether to stop him.

His principles had always been that he couldn't stand by and watch Gavin continue killing, but it was extremely difficult to get Gavin, who was now consumed by rage, to stop short of killing those criminals.

In the One-Punch Man world, Hakuyo closed the chat group and put the matter aside for now. He planned to consider his next move after finishing the last few days of this mission.

After all, he had come here relying on Uchiha Sasuke's invitation, and Sasuke was still in the Naruto World.

If he left abruptly, he would most likely return to the Naruto World when he next traveled through Sasuke. Then, the coordinates of One-Punch Man and Sovereign Space would disappear.

So, he planned to bring Sasuke into Sovereign Space to complete a mission after this mission ended, letting him act as his beacon for these two worlds.

"Life is really lonely like snow, huh." Hakuyo looked at the tea cup in front of him, the rising steam causing a lonely sigh.

"What are you inexplicably sighing about?" Tatsumaki sat across from him with her arms crossed, puzzled.

"Nothing, just thinking about what to eat later," Hakuyo said, gently fanning himself with the Gunbai.

'This guy…' Tatsumaki muttered inwardly, and then asked, "Hey, Hakuyo, you said you were leaving in two months, which means you only have a few days left."

"That's right. I'd estimate I have about ten days left before I leave."

Hakuyo looked at the countdown in his mind and then teased, "What's wrong? After all this intimate contact, has your body already become my shape? Are you going to miss me when I leave?"

"How could that be? I'd love for you to leave sooner, so you won't bother me anymore!"

Tatsumaki's face flushed red, but in the end, she just turned her head slightly. "Hmph, but seeing how pathetic you are, all alone, if you beg me, this lady might not be completely unwilling to show some kindness."

"All alone? Not really. After all, I have women in other worlds too."

"And, who else do you have besides me!" Tatsumaki stared intently at Hakuyo, her hands unconsciously clenching a corner of her dress.

"Who else… let me count."

"Count?"

"If you count those who served me, there are 1, 2, 3… 13, 14, 15…"

Hakuyo was counting, but before he could finish, Tatsumaki's expression had already darkened.

The next moment, looking at Hakuyo, who was listing them as if it were his treasures, the green glow of telekinesis began to emanate from Tatsumaki's fair skin. With a wave of her hand, it surged out, engulfing Hakuyo's position.

"Scum, die!!!"
