The atmosphere became hard to live in; the family crumbled in fear, hearing the upcoming footsteps sounds adding to the weird, crazy smell coming from nowhere around the house.
Eriolth gets himself together and takes a peek through the window; his eyes widened in fear, and the mother and son starved for strength when they saw Eriolth opening his eyes as if he saw a ghost. Mirabel ran out of words, and Akirion's cleverness went to the opposite.
'Dad...?' little Akirion called in fear. 'Wh—what is it?' he continued.
Eriolth turned his head around slowly like a chameleon and placed his eyes at Akirion's face. He gathered all his strength to take out a few words out of his mouth.
"Go and f-f-fetch me my sword!"
Mirabel failed to ask Eriolth about what was happening, but the strong little Akirion found his way to his parents' bedroom.
Meanwhile,
Mika found her way out from the Underground Walls. She headed to Elysen, the nearby village, to get started with her investigation. She ran into the bushes near Elysian in search of the past hero's heir.
A robotic-human-like voice sounded outside Eriolth's house. '*Sniffs in enjoyment* pfffff haaaaaa, do you smell that? Some fresh dinner. It's time for our supper boys.' A green, scary, human-like monster said, with its mouth stretched from ear to ear, happy for the delicious human meat.
Akirion with his family trembled in fear, searching for help in their hearts, but they didn't find anything. Eriolth tried to keep everything closed, but little did he know those monsters got in. Monsters that they heard a lot about in the form of gossip and rumors. Suddenly, Akirion heard something breaking around the kitchen; his heart started beating as if it was going to come out or stop. The monsters started to break in before Akirion brought the sword. Almost luckily, Akirion's short legs ran towards his father. 'Dad, here.' Akirion said, passing the sword to his father. Eriolth showed a glimpse of a smile to Akirion, showing a bit of thanks.
'Mirabel, would you do me a favor?' Eriolth said.
'Wha—what?' She got her words at last.
'TAKE AKIRION TO THE TUNNEL NOW. GO GO TO OUR BEDROOM AND YOU WILL FIND A RED ROPE. PULL IT AND YOU WILL FIND A TUNNEL. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ESCAPE. RUN! Eriolth chanted the words in the middle of stress. He started fighting the small fry monsters like the lowly goblins and elves. Eriolth tries to protect Mirabel, who is still trying to gather her strength while breathing hard because of the stinky smell that came from the monsters. 'Mirabel, Akie, RUN!' said the fighting Eriolth….
'Dad, look out,' Akirion said, but it was already too late for a heads-up. Eriolth got scratched deeply on his back. Mirabel gasped in fear; she stood up and tried to go and help her husband.
'Mirabel, take Akirion NOW!' said the deeply hurt Eriolth.
Mirabel ran with all of her strength and took Akirion with her to the promised tunnel. Eriolth tried his utmost best, but the greedy, bloodthirsty monsters ended up getting too powerful. The stinky house was now a flaming house. The green aura monster smiled more when they defeated Eriolth; some monsters followed Mirabel and Akirion.
They barely reached the room on time. They found their way to the tunnel; Mirabel and Akirion had a glimpse of happiness after they saw the tunnel. But their eyes were also filled with anger and sadness.
Before they started to get in the tunnel, they heard some monster footsteps around the room, and their fear increased, but there was nothing they could do in that situation.
'Akie, be fast, get inside,' said Mirabel.
Akirion found his way inside the tunnel. The footsteps were now around the door.
'Run, run, Akie, find your way to the end of the tunnel. I'm right behind you. Run!'
The poor Akirion ran with all his speedy thinking that his mother wasn't right behind.
Mirabel realized that she wouldn't make it on time, so she closed the tunnel door slowly.
Akirion ran, but when he was about to finish the way out of the tunnel, he realized that his beloved mother was not around. He started crying, and then he called out for her, but the echoes of his voice replied to him. He remembered his mother's words when she said, 'RUN!'. He now realized that his mother didn't make it inside the tunnel, so he thought maybe she found a hidden place to put herself in.
He got out of the tunnel; lucky him, no monster saw him because he was far in front of the yard. He saw the house in flames, screaming for peace, but those pesky lowly monsters were destroying everything. Akirion continued crying and headed to the burning house to see his parents. After some time, the monsters were outside, and then they saw a little survivor.
'Ohh, a young survivor? "He's mine to finish. You have killed some inside, right, and I didn't, so he's mine," he said. The boss of the crew, the smelly green-aura monster. It ran towards the crying Akirion to land a finishing blow to the small fry. Behind the monster, the house roof fell inside the house, and a lot of fire lit up. Akirion looked at the house with anger and stopped going towards the burning house. He looked down in confusion, and his eyes stopped crying for some time. The green aura monster was on its way to destroy Akirion. Akirion started to remember his parent's love. The monster stopped and started to feel shaky. "What's going on here?" said the monster. "Why am I not moving? I should kill this lowly human right now." It continued. {"Why is this kid getting this scary? I'm not scared of little humans; they are just humans. I'm green, not brown. I'm stronger than those, so I can't be scared of these small humans."} It said, in its thoughts.
Akirion's eyes started tearing up again.
"What, is he pouring water with his eyes? What's going on?" Said the scared, shaking monster.
Akirion looked up and screamed louder than he ever had; an explosion came from his body during the screaming scene, and that explosion destroyed the surroundings.
And the sound was heard by Mika, who was on his way to investigate Eriolth, the knight.
'What's that?' Mika questioned herself. A strong wind came from the exploded place, and it blew on Mika for some time. Lucky for her, there were a lot of trees around her, so she was saved from flying away.
Meanwhile, the boss monster (the green aura monster) was blown away to the destroyed walls of the house. Many other monsters around were killed in an instant; only the boss monster was left breathing. Akirion's body started moving on its own; he ran faster than he ever had. He reached out to the breathing monster and started punc
hing it. He punched it to death.
He lost his energy and fell down on his face.
