Chapter 106 - The Mysterious Visitor Seeking Help

On the terrace of the Arbitrator Tower, streamers and neon lights intertwined, and music blared.

Champagne towers were piled high in the corner; Deadpool was trying to catch the wine sliding from the top with his tongue, only to be smacked on the back of the head by Natasha's hand.

"Hey! That's my tongue!" Deadpool protested, clutching his head.

"That's public property," Natasha replied expressionlessly.

In the center of the crowd, a huge long table was surrounded by a dense throng.

"Another plate! No, five plates! Ten plates!"

The blue-haired man—his hair now returned to its normal black—was waving his fork, clanging it against an empty plate.

His eyes gleamed astonishingly, and his mouth was still smeared with sauce, looking like a homeless person who had been hungry for three days suddenly stumbling into a buffet restaurant.

Tony stood aside, holding a glass of champagne, his expression a mix of shock and amusement.

"Friday, do we have enough reserves in our kitchen?"

"Boss, he has already consumed the equivalent of three Arbitrators' banquets," the AI butler reported calmly, "and he just requested 'another cow'."

Banner pushed up his glasses and muttered, "This digestive system is unscientific…"

Steve, meanwhile, stared at the man's profile, his brows furrowed.

"Tony, are you sure he's related to Chen Tian?"

"Ha! Look at him eat!" Tony gestured exaggeratedly, "When Chen Tian learned to use sword qi, his appetite wasn't much worse than his."

As if to confirm his words, the man suddenly looked up, half a strand of spaghetti still hanging from his mouth, his eyes fixed on the terrace entrance—

"Yo, you're back?"

His voice was enthusiastic, instantly quieting the entire party.

Everyone's gaze simultaneously turned to the entrance.

Chen Tian stood there, followed by Kiana, Dante, Bayonetta, and Saitama.

His gaze swept over the crowd, directly meeting the man at the dining table.

The air seemed to freeze for a second.

Then—

Tony rushed over almost instantly.

He placed both hands on Chen Tian's shoulders, his gaze anxiously sweeping over his entire body—from his messy White hair to his dirty trench coat, and the tiny abrasions on his knuckles.

"Kid!" Tony's voice suddenly choked.

He pulled Chen Tian into a hug, "You're okay…you're okay…that's great."

Chen Tian paused, then chuckled as he hugged Tony back, gently patting his trembling back: "Don't worry, Tony, I'm fine."

He deliberately lowered his voice, "I haven't painted your other robots Barbie or Hello Kitty colors yet."

Tony suddenly released him, laughing with red-rimmed eyes.

He grabbed Chen Tian's wrist, turned, and raised his champagne glass to the whole room: "Everyone! Welcome back our hero! Damn it! He saved the Multiverse!"

The champagne bubbles sparkled under the lights; Banner and Ethan exchanged a smile, both raising their glasses to Chen Tian.

Banner's glasses reflected a warm light: "It seems we need to redefine the 'Law of Conservation of Energy'."

Ethan gently clinked his glass: "Things that science can't explain, let's call them miracles."

Steve and Sam stood side by side; without words, the warriors of two eras saluted with the most standard military posture.

Natasha moved through the crowd, her red hair like a flame sweeping across a sea of champagne.

She suddenly grabbed Chen Tian's collar and gave him a Russian bear hug before anyone could react.

"Next time you act tough," she whispered through gritted teeth in Chen Tian's ear, "I'll freeze you in a liquid nitrogen chamber."

When she released him, she quickly wiped the corner of her eye, transforming back into the elegant Black Widow.

2B stood quietly in the Shadow cast by Natasha.

When Natasha left Chen Tian's embrace, she stepped forward half a pace.

Chen Tian actively opened his arms, and the android girl nestled into his embrace like a bird returning to its nest.

"Welcome back, Master." Her voice module was slightly distorted, like a radio finally receiving a signal after a storm.

Chen Tian lowered his head and kissed her silvery-White hair.

Suddenly, there was a loud crash of dishes from the dining table.

The black-haired man had somehow stood on a chair, holding half a roasted whole lamb.

"Chen Tian! Come eat something delicious!" He laughed as he tore off a lamb leg, "The food here is too good!"

Chen Tian smiled and said, "Wukong, slow down, there's not much else here," he looked at Tony, "but for food, Tony can provide unlimited meals and lodging!"

Tony laughed, "That's right! Plenty of food! Plenty of drinks!"

With that, he shouted into the air: "Friday! Why isn't Chef Dog Egg sending out more food?! Our hero needs more food! More desserts!"

"More meat!!!" Wukong shouted, holding up the lamb leg.

The party atmosphere instantly exploded with Wukong's cry of "More meat!!!"

Kiana pulled 2B's wrist and rushed towards the dessert area, the android girl's skirt fluttering like a White dove.

"Strawberry tart! The three-layered one!" Kiana's pupils reflected the creamy sheen, and 2B's tactical goggles kept popping up calorie analysis data, but the girl forcefully shut them down: "No calorie counting today!"

Saitama's bald head reflected the neon lights; he silently stood in the empty seat next to Wukong.

The two looked at each other, both sensing the other's power.

"Want to compete?" Saitama broke apart his chopsticks.

Wukong tossed the last lamb bone onto an empty plate: "When it comes to eating, I won't lose to anyone!"

Bayonetta's red lips brushed Chen Tian's earlobe, "Darling, I'm going to take a bath.

I've prepared a special outfit, waiting for you."

Chen Tian's eyes lit up as he looked at Bayonetta.

Bayonetta winked at Chen Tian, then strutted away from the party.

Tony jumped onto the DJ booth, his robotic arm deploying a holographic turntable: "Friday! Switch to 'Galaxy BBQ March'!"

The speakers shook the stardust from the edge of the terrace; Deadpool, at some point, had taken the lamb leg bone Wukong had discarded and was using it as a microphone, howling "My Heart Will Go On"—in a Death metal version.

In the kitchen of Arbitrator Tower, Chef Dog Egg was in a frenzy.

"Raw! Cold! Do you want to murder a hero?!" He grabbed a steak with blood still in it and slammed it against the wall, the meat sliding down like a failed experiment.

An apprentice trembled as he explained: "Mr. Stark said he wanted it rare…"

"He's just a rich playboy! What does he know about cooking?" Dog Egg roared, turning to the pastry chef, "Tony wants a cake so sweet it gives you cavities! Not French bitter chocolate! And! Tell me! Did you stuff the strawberries up your butt?!"

The piping bag burst in fright, spraying cream all over the pastry chef's face.

Seeing the olives on the pizza, Dog Egg's blood pressure soared: "Who put the olives on?!"

"Ms. Natasha said to…"

"God! Please! No! Do you forget that old man in red almost chopped up my oven last time he saw olives on the pizza?!"

The entire pizza flew into the trash can, "Put olives on again and I'll roast you all!"

Just then, Tony's voice came through the communicator: "Add twenty more steaks…"

"Get lost, Stark!" Dog Egg smashed the communicator, yelling at all his subordinates: "Three minutes! Perfect food! Otherwise, you sleep in the trash can!"

The kitchen instantly became a battlefield, with Fire and spatulas flying.

Hell's Kitchen · Deep in the Alley

The night wind carried the stench of garbage and the pungent smell of alcohol, swirling in the narrow alley.

Daredevil's baton twirled between his fingers; he hunched slightly, his ears catching the opponent's heartbeat—steady, slow, like some dormant beast.

"Who are you?" Daredevil's voice was low, his movements cautious, "Hell's Kitchen has never had anyone like you."

In the Shadow, the tall figure slowly took a step forward.

His silhouette appeared even more sinister in the dim light, his cape draped like a true Batman.

"I also want to know who you are, Daredevil?" The man's voice, processed by a voice changer, was deep and hoarse, with a mechanical coldness, "The vigilante here?"

Daredevil did not answer; his senses were fully engaged, trying to judge the other's intentions from their breathing and the subtle tremors of their muscles.

"I am like you," the Batman continued, "also a vigilante, specializing in fighting criminals."

Daredevil's brow furrowed even deeper: "Why are you looking for me?"

"Because you are the only Superhero I can find right now." The Batman's voice was still cold, but faintly revealed a hint of fatigue, "And, our attitude towards criminals…is the same."

Daredevil's baton tightened slightly: "What do you mean?"

The Batman stepped out of the Shadow, approaching Daredevil.

Daredevil's senses clearly captured every detail of the other's body—no extraordinary heart rate, no mutated muscle tissue, not even the speed of blood flow differed from a normal person.

The only difference was that scarred body, each scar telling countless stories of brushing with Death.

"You…are just a normal person?" Daredevil's voice held disbelief.

"Trained for twenty more years than a normal person." The Batman's voice finally shed the mechanical quality of the voice changer, revealing its hoarse and tired original tone.

"Do you know what happens when Superheroes lose control?"

Daredevil's baton drooped slightly: "What exactly are you trying to say?"

The Batman looked up at Daredevil; Daredevil could feel the man exuding exhaustion, yet an exceptionally firm spirit.

"I've seen it; they replaced the government, becoming the controllers of the World; even children who committed petty theft were executed."

"Daredevil, I need your help; my resistance organization has failed."

"I don't know why I appeared in this World, but I am now standing on the edge of a cliff."

Daredevil didn't know what this guy was trying to say, but he understood: this World.

"You're not from this World?"

The Batman shook his head, "No, in my Universe, they call me."

"Batman."
