Washington District · Post-War Ruins
Tony's armor sliced through the gray sky, its thrusters spewing an ethereal blue flame, leaving a clear trail in the pouring rain. On his HUD, Jarvis's voice clearly relayed:
"Sir, energy scans from the Watcher Platform confirm that the combat energy fluctuations have subsided."
"Finally…" Tony murmured, his brows furrowed beneath his faceplate. His armor suddenly accelerated, flying over the District. He looked down at the Washington District—or perhaps it could no longer be called a "District" now.
The entire city seemed to have been gnawed by some ancient beast. Once bustling streets, towering government buildings, monuments… all had been razed to the ground, leaving only scorched lava pools, vitrified giant craters, and countless collapsed building wreckage.
"Jarvis, scan for life signs."
"Wide-area scan executed. No human life signals detected, except for Kratos."
Tony's throat tightened slightly. Although Batman's early warning had allowed most civilians to evacuate, many Military personnel and those reckless internet celebrities had remained. Now, even their bodies couldn't be found.
His combat boots landed heavily on the scorched earth, the ground still scorching hot, a sensation he could feel even through his boots.
He looked around. Rain washed over the ruins, creating a hazy mist. In the distance, a tall figure sat motionless at the edge of a lava pool.
— Kratos.
Tony took a deep breath and walked over.
"Boss, suggest maintaining vigilance," Friday reminded him.
"I know," Tony responded softly, but his steps did not falter.
Kratos seemed to sense his approach and slowly turned his head.
His face still bore dried bloodstains, and the red tattoos appeared even more vivid as the rain washed over them.
At this moment, Kratos no longer had the madness of battle; instead, he resembled a weary old man.
"Stark," Kratos's voice was low and hoarse.
"You know me?" Tony raised an eyebrow.
Kratos merely nodded, his gaze returning to the distance.
Tony was silent for a moment, then walked to his side, looking out at the ruins as well.
"You won."
"Hm."
Tony's faceplate slowly opened, and rain immediately drenched his face. He gazed at Kratos, his voice solemn: "Thank you."
Kratos pushed himself up, his bones groaning under the strain.
"No need to thank me," Kratos grumbled. "I was just following orders."
He lifted the Leviathan Axe with one hand, skillfully slinging it onto his back. Kratos turned and walked out of the city, his steps heavy, each one leaving a deep imprint on the scorched earth.
Tony didn't understand Kratos's condition. The fervor and fearlessness of the recent battle had been displayed in the safe zone via the Watcher Platform.
Why did Kratos now resemble an old man on the verge of death?
"Wait!" Tony instinctively stepped forward. "Where are you going? Aren't you waiting for Chen Tian to come back?"
Kratos didn't turn back, only slightly turned his face: "To find a quiet place to spend the rest of my life."
Tony watched Kratos's receding figure, rain sliding down his cheeks. He suddenly called out, "Wait!" Kratos stopped, but didn't turn around.
"How about…" Tony carefully chose his words, "you don't rush off just yet? I can arrange a place for you, absolutely quiet, no one will disturb you."
Kratos slowly turned around, his eyes terrifyingly calm, as if the earth-shattering battle had never happened.
"Friday," Tony said to the AI, "check my properties, the most remote kind." He glanced at Kratos and added, "Preferably uninhabited."
After a brief silence, Friday's voice came: "Boss, you own a seaside Villa on the Norwegian coastline in Northern Europe. It's 120 kilometers from the nearest town, with an average annual temperature of 5℃, and is currently unoccupied."
Tony looked at Kratos: "It has a fireplace. Don't worry about supplies; I can drone-deliver them to you. The most important thing is…" He paused, "quiet."
Just then, the roar of the Silver Winged Star's engine pierced the rain, and it descended vertically onto the scorched ruins.
2B gracefully leaped from the cabin. She walked directly towards Kratos.
"Mission accomplished," Kratos's voice was low. He looked at 2B, "I'm going to—"
"Norway. You can go now," Tony immediately interjected.
Kratos nodded silently in acknowledgment, then turned and boarded the aircraft. Before the hatch closed, Tony saw him remove his Axe and lean it gently against the seat, a movement impossibly soft.
With a roar of engines, the Silver Winged Star took to the air. Tony walked to 2B's side, "What exactly is this guy's background?"
2B watched the departing aircraft, her voice so soft it was almost drowned out by the rain: "A God of War who has slaughtered countless Gods." She paused for a moment, "And… a middle-aged man weary of war."
Tony watched the sky until the aircraft became a small black dot in the rain.
He suddenly remembered something and turned to ask, "Wait, what do you mean by 'countless Gods'?"
2B didn't answer, just quietly watched the direction the Silver Winged Star flew away.
The rain fell harder, washing over this place where Gods had fallen.

On Titan, Sinestro's head was under Dante's foot. The Yellow Lantern ring completely dimmed, turning into an ordinary piece of metal. Vergil sheathed his Yamato, his cold gaze sweeping over the scattered remains of the Yellow Lantern Corps.
"Brother, you're stealing my kills too?" Dante said with a grin.
"Too slow, don't blame others." Vergil lifted his trench coat and sat on a nearby large rock.
After Kiana and Saitama dealt with the remaining Yellow Lantern Corps warriors, they sat on a floating piece of debris, swinging their legs, looking up at the sky—where a golden and a red trail were still colliding fiercely, each Impact causing spatial tremors, and the Impact even caused the surface of Titan to shake slightly.
"How much longer are they going to fight?" Kiana puffed out her cheeks, muttering.
Chen Tian stood beside her, chuckled at her words, and reached out to ruffle her head: "What, bored?"
"Mm!" Kiana nodded vigorously, her blue eyes filled with grievance, "I want strawberry pudding! Or cake is fine too!"
"…" Chen Tian was silent for a second, then reached into the distorted air, and when he pulled his hand out, he already had a strawberry cake.
"Wow! Strawberry cake!" Kiana happily took the cake from Chen Tian's hand and took a delicious bite, a look of enjoyment on her face.
Chen Tian's hand still lingered in Kiana's soft hair. The girl looked up with her cream-smeared face and gave him a brilliant smile.
"Eat slowly," Chen Tian said with a smile, but the next second, his smile froze, his gaze shooting towards the sky like an arrow.
"Those Sovereign people…" Chen Tian narrowed his eyes, letting out a disdainful sneer, "Why are they so eager to court death?"
Everyone followed his gaze. At the end of the shattered sky, a golden star was rapidly approaching.
The golden meteor streaked across Titan's broken sky, and Adam, radiating dazzling energy, crashed to the ground like a burning meteorite.
His feet shattered the rocks, and a perfect spherical energy field formed around him, pulverizing all the surrounding debris.
"Chen Tian! Surrender!" Adam's voice boomed like thunder, echoing across the entire battlefield. His golden pupils locked onto Chen Tian.
Kiana had just put down her cake and was about to get up to fight, but a red cape swept across her vision faster than she could move.
"Leave this to me," Saitama's voice was a little lazy, yet a little excited. Finally, an interesting guy had arrived.
"Boom—!"
The moment the two forces collided, the Impact lifted the ground for a thousand meters in all directions.
Adam's golden energy met Saitama's fist head-on, and energy ripples formed visible waves in the air.
"Who are you?" Adam frowned. He hadn't expected this bald man to be able to block his energy Impact with his bare hands.
"A hero for fun," Saitama said, then unleashed another straight punch.
Adam quickly retreated, crossing his hands in front of his chest to form an energy barrier. However, the power of this punch far exceeded his imagination; the barrier shattered instantly, and he was sent flying hundreds of meters, plowing deep furrows in the rocky ground.
"Interesting." Adam wiped the golden blood from the corner of his mouth, his fighting spirit intensifying. He suddenly spread his arms, and countless golden energy threads extended from his back, attacking Saitama like living tendrils.
Saitama stood still, merely swinging his fists lightly. Each punch precisely shattered an energy thread, his movements simple yet terrifyingly efficient.
Dante, watching from a distance, whistled: "Brother, this guy is even cooler than you."
Vergil snorted, but his eyes remained fixed on the battlefield.
Kiana took another bite of cake, asking indistinctly, "Brother Chen Tian, can Teacher Saitama win?" Chen Tian watched the two intensely fighting, chuckling, "He's guaranteed to win."
In the center of the battlefield, Adam suddenly changed tactics. He clasped his hands together, and golden energy condensed into a miniature black hole-like sphere in his palms. "Taste this!" He violently pushed the energy sphere towards Saitama.
Saitama's deadpan eyes changed—he widened them, showing a childlike curiosity: "Oh?" The energy sphere exploded the moment it touched Saitama, a blinding golden light engulfing the entire battlefield. The Impact even forced Chen Tian and the others in the distance to raise their hands to shield their eyes.
When the light dissipated, Adam was astonished to find Saitama still standing in place, only his Yellow combat suit slightly damaged.
"That's a good move," Saitama dusted himself off, "Again?"
Adam's golden face completely froze.
Saitama's deadpan eyes sharpened. He slowly assumed a standard punching stance, and his entire aura instantly became completely different.
"If you have no other moves…" Saitama's voice was low, "Then it's my turn."
Adam hadn't reacted yet when Saitama's figure vanished from its spot.
The next second, he felt a sharp pain in his abdomen—Saitama's fist had deeply embedded itself in his abdominal armor. Adam's golden pupils suddenly constricted. He looked in disbelief at the dented armor on his abdomen, blood overflowing from the corner of his mouth.
"This… impossible…" Adam struggled to squeeze out a few words.
Saitama gave him no chance to catch his breath. He lightly leaped and appeared in front of Adam, pulling back his right fist to gather power.
Adam instinctively tried to defend, but his movements were as slow as if frozen in Saitama's eyes.
"Normal Punch."
As Saitama calmly announced, in Adam's eyes, a massive red fist came crashing down, and in front of the fist was a gigantic 'Death'.
Saitama's fist stopped abruptly just one centimeter from Adam's face. The violent punch wind blew Adam's golden long hair straight back, and his facial muscles twisted and deformed under the Impact of the airflow.
When the punch wind dissipated, Adam dared to open his eyes. He saw Saitama's fist slowly retract. Saitama tilted his head, showing a puzzled expression: "Are you… crying?"
Adam subconsciously touched his face, his fingertips brushing against cold liquid. Only then did he realize that, at some point, tears had uncontrollably streamed down his cheeks.
"I'm not crying!" Adam shouted like a child whose lie had been exposed. He frantically wiped his face, but found that the more he wiped, the more tears flowed.
Saitama pouted, his face clearly saying, "Who are you kidding?"
He turned and walked away, heading towards Chen Tian.
"I'm not crying!!" Adam shouted, trying to grab Saitama, but his legs suddenly went weak, and he fell heavily to his knees. Only then did he notice the strange sound coming from behind him—the continuous roar of collapsing rocks.
He stiffly turned his head, and the sight before him choked his breath.
A massive gully, thousands of meters wide, extended from behind him, all the way to the horizon.
Titan's already shattered surface was completely torn apart by the aftershock of that single punch; all hills and ruins along the way were pulverized.
The rock walls on both sides of the gully were smooth as mirrors, as if instantly vaporized.
Adam's lips trembled uncontrollably. He finally understood that if that punch had truly landed, he probably wouldn't have even an atom left.
In the distance, Dante gave an exaggerated whistle: "Wow, that destructive power… Brother, can your Dimension Slash do that?" Vergil didn't retort, only silently gripped the hilt of his Yamato.
Kiana excitedly bounced: "Teacher Saitama is so cool!!"
Chen Tian smiled and ruffled her head: "That's why I said he's guaranteed to win."
In the center of the battlefield, Saitama had walked back to his companions, resuming his lazy demeanor: "Ah~ When are we done? So boring."
Adam knelt at the edge of the gully, watching Saitama's receding figure, tears once again uncontrollably gushing out.
This time, he didn't wipe them away, but like a bullied child, he raised his head and cried loudly to the sky.
In the distant reaches of space, the command center of the Sovereign mothership was eerily silent. High Priestess Ayesha looked at the holographic projection of Adam kneeling on the ground, her face pale beneath her golden mask.
"Immediately… immediately evacuate this star system." Her voice had lost its usual arrogance. "Full fleet, highest alert status."
Just as the Sovereign mothership turned its hull, intending to retreat, Ayesha discovered a gigantic figure behind the mothership, which had appeared at some unknown time, blocking their escape route.
"This… this is…" Ayesha was too astonished to speak.
The gigantic figures passed through the Sovereign mothership like phantoms. In Ayesha's sight, five giants of different colors slowly flew towards Titan.
"The… Celestials, all mobilized?" Ayesha said incredulously.
On Titan, Chen Tian looked up at the starry sky outside Titan, scoffing, "It seems those stone people of the Celestials can't sit still."
He turned to look at Bayonetta beside him. Bayonetta had finished feeding the beasts and was idly playing with a strand of her hair with her index finger. When she saw Chen Tian looking at her, she chuckled, "Arishem the Judge is very cautious, he ran very fast."
Chen Tian pouted, then stood up and stretched, "After dealing with these stone people, Goku's side should be almost done too."
Saitama's eyes lit up when he heard Chen Tian's words, "Can I have one this time?"
Chen Tian grinned: "Go all out."
