Chapter 270 - Chapter 270 The Surface of the Sun.

Chapter 270 The Surface of the Sun.

Looking at the enormous sun before him, Wang Xiaofei felt that his phoenix flames, compared to the sun's flames, were like a firefly compared to the moon—a crushing defeat on a higher level.

Especially the size of this sun; it was somewhat frightening. According to Wang Xiaofei's estimation, the sun's diameter alone reached hundreds of thousands of kilometers, dozens of times the size of Douluo Star. The temperature of the sun's surface was terrifyingly high, a full six thousand degrees. Wang Xiaofei estimated that anything entering the sun would be instantly melted.

At this moment, Wang Xiaofei felt a restlessness within his body; his phoenix flames seemed somewhat uncontrollable, as if worshipping a higher-level flame.

Especially the sun's flames, which seemed to be filled with endless destructive power, making him feel as if he were about to be burned alive. This was the first time he had felt such a powerful difference since the awakening of his Fire Phoenix Martial Soul.

Wang Xiaofei did not enter the sun's surface, nor did he delve into its interior. Instead, he began to sense the various energies in space and the energy within the sun.

While the sun possesses boundless destructive power, it also possesses an equally powerful and mysterious force.

It is through the interplay of these two forces that the sun radiates its endless light, nurturing countless lives.

Many say water is the source of life, but for all inhabitants of a planet, the sun is the true source. The energy of sunlight represents the birth of life.

All plants on Douluo Star require sunlight to grow properly—what I learned in my previous life as photosynthesis—and sunlight is the source of all energy.

It is the energy of sunlight that nourishes the entire Douluo Star, enabling life to arise and allowing it to develop normally.

Wang Xiaofei sat there, beginning to comprehend the energy within the sun.

To Wang Xiaofei's surprise, even after leaving Douluo Star so far away, he could still sense its energy, and even perceive the sun's energy through it. From Douluo Star's perspective, the sun was like a mother, which explained why Wang Xiaofei's primordial power felt so familiar with the sun and why it was growing.

At this moment, Wang Xiaofei seemed to sense not just the sun before him, but another kind of growth, another kind of evolution.

Wang Xiaofei felt as if he had entered a mysterious space, completely shrouded in darkness, where he could see nothing.

But after an unknown period of time, perhaps countless years, even tens of thousands of years, the first spark seemed to appear within the darkness.

This spark gradually grew larger and stronger, and with the continued increase in energy, the expanding spark eventually became a fireball, just like the original sun.

Then, sunlight shone in all directions around him, illuminating the entire world. From that moment on, the world had light.

And in the world illuminated by sunlight, countless dark spheres appeared.

Among them, the black sphere that was farther away from the sun seemed to be a little different from the other black spheres. The other black spheres were either burned to ashes and disappeared without a trace, or they were too far away from the sun to be illuminated by light and remained in darkness.

The unusual-looking black sphere seemed to be slowly changing. As if under some force, it began to rotate on its own, and then, under this force, it started to revolve around the sun.

As time slowly passed, this moderately illuminated black sphere, under the sunlight, seemed to exhibit an anomaly: water appeared on its surface.

With the birth of water, various other elements seemed to gradually emerge, including fire, metal, and earth.

As these four elements slowly changed and grew stronger, under the combined influence of these four elements and the sunlight, life began to appear.

Initially, only very simple organisms appeared, or perhaps the earliest forms of single-celled organisms. But life seemed to begin to create miracles; small grasses began to appear on the ground, and some kind of algae began to appear in the ocean.

After an unknown amount of time, plants and animals gradually appeared. Plants became increasingly diverse, and various animal races emerged. But among all the animals, the two strongest races were born: the dragons and the phoenixes.

After the dragons and phoenixes, life became more diverse, with the emergence of spirit beasts, trees, flowers, and various fish.

Wang Xiaofei pondered and comprehended the energy within the sun, sensing its destructive and creative power—the very forces that gave birth to life.

With the birth of powerful creatures, the world seemed to become bustling, filled with conflict, war, and even destruction. For a time, the black sphere returned to its original darkness, and all life withered. However, after a brief transformation, the black sphere slowly changed into a small blue sphere, or rather, a blue planet. Animals then emerged, and one type gradually transitioned from four-limbed to two-limbed locomotion. This two-limbed creature was humankind. Through growth and reproduction, humans became one of the largest races on the blue planet. While the dragons and phoenixes still possessed the strongest physical energy, humans prevailed through sheer numbers.

Unexpectedly, the various creatures on the planet continued to fight and grow stronger. Both humans and spirit beasts gradually produced powerful beings of various levels. Eventually, the powerful beings on both sides seemed capable of destroying the world with a mere gesture. However, the planet seemed unable to withstand the attacks and the inter-race conflicts. After the final battle, countless powerful beings seemed to have perished, and all life seemed to begin to degenerate; even human intelligence began to decline.

After countless years of development, the number of creatures on the planet dwindled, and after the final battle, the entire planet seemed to have suffered immense damage. Then, towering waves appeared on the sea, the ground began to crack, and all the gods seemed to be under immense threat, like a threat from a mother.

Finally, everything was enveloped in darkness, and it seemed that this planet, which had once nurtured countless lives, had simply vanished.

During this time, Wang Xiaofei didn't know how long each day would last, or even how many years he had experienced. So much of it felt like a dream.
