Chapter 1 - Continuity- What you should do now?

Jesus died for your sins and mine. He did this openly, not secretly. His sacrifice on the cross was a public testimony of God's love for humanity. Because of that, we are called to live for Him and to spread the Gospel. As Jesus Himself commanded:

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)

If our Lord Himself has given us this mission, why should we not obey it? Yes, none of us are perfect. No one is without sin. I myself am not sinless, and neither are you. Scripture makes this truth clear:

"There is no one righteous, not even one." (Romans 3:10)

Not even the Pope, the Bishop, the Father, the Sister, or the Pastor is free from sin. Every human being has fallen short. Even the disciples of Jesus, the very men who walked beside Him, were sinful. But did they allow their sinfulness to stop them from following Christ? No. Instead, they repented, trusted in the grace of God, and carried the message of salvation to the ends of the earth.

Think about this: what if the disciples had said, "I am sinful, therefore I cannot spread the Word of God"? If they had thought that way, we would never have heard the Gospel. But because they obeyed Christ, even in their weakness, the truth of salvation reached us today.

And what is that truth? That Jesus Christ is God in human flesh, who lived among us, who bled and died on the cross for our sins, who rose again in victory over death, and who will one day come again in glory.

Spreading the Gospel is not as simple as it may sound. It requires courage, faith, and perseverance. The world may oppose us, people may mock us, and sometimes we may feel unworthy. But we must remember this: it is not our strength or righteousness that carries the Gospel forward, but the power of the Holy Spirit working through us.

So let us not hold back. Just as the first disciples were faithful, even in their weakness, so should we be faithful today. Let us proclaim the truth of Christ boldly, so that more souls may come to know Him, believe in Him, and be saved.
