Alma didn't move,Selendra didn't blink. The room was suddenly so quiet you could hear the passing of ants.
Rhea was the first to breake the silence. "We're not sleeping here." She slid her sword back into its sheath and jerked her chin at the door. "We move,now."
No one argued.. Alma turned without a word and walked out and I followed because that's what I always did. Vesper came behind me, hand light at my back, as if reminding me I could still fall and Selendra trailed last, tail swaying like she was bored.
