Chapter 7 - Chapter 7- Cult of Zarathustra IV

___'s POV:

White...the colour white is considered to be a symbol of peace, innocence and calm...well at least that's what I have read in books.

My entire life was made of it, even since I opened my eyes as an infant, the first thing I saw was the white ceiling or white lights. Everything felt lonely, I felt like I didn't belong here.....I didn't deserve to live.

What is living to begin with? According to some books, it is an attempt to adapt to our environment, while other say it's earning currency and living a life of materialistic pleasure...or a hedonist life whereas some books say living is trying to walk the path of salvation in this lifetime to escape the cycle of Samsara. Then if that's called living then what I've been doing?

My entire day is spent either sitting on the cold, hard mattress of the bed or reading the book I've been given. The only that visually separates me from my room is my hair, other than that everything is white. There was never any type of sound in my room, the only reason I even knew about sound was due to books.

There was a small slit on the other side of my 'room' through which 'food' would be given to me. It was boiled food, it didn't taste of anything particularly. It wasn't in high quantity either, it was just enough to keep me alive and not stunt my growth.

Sometimes a gas would be released in my room, within a few minutes I would be rendered unconscious and after that I felt myself being carried away. When I would wake up, I found myself laying on the bed of that same white room. I would have some bandages or wound dressings on my arms and back, when they would heal they left scars behind. Some were shallow while some were deep.

Near the ceiling of the room there was a large glass windows I could only see the blurred side of it but I could feel a gaze lingering on me from the other side.....a gaze that would never stop looking at me even when I was sleeping, bathing under the small showerhead or doing anything in general, I would always feel it.

At first, I was crying...I felt scared and lonely but slowly over the course of many years my tears dried up, i didn't feel scared....I stopped feeling anything at all. It was like I was just existing there without any purpose or motivation, just living because I didn't have the privilege to die.

One day, the entire room shook from the impact of a landing. A 'being'wearing a blue cloak landed while making a crater on the ground. I look at 'it' curiously from the corner of my 'room'. It looked like a bipedal from its leg and arms shape. It was a wearing a long blue cloth that covers it's entire body. As I continued observing 'it', a new figure appeared....this one could fly. It has bron hair and brown eyes. It rushed towards me and put its back on my vision. Fom it's physiology, it seems to be from my spieces, Homo Sapiens or Humans. It was a male human.....a taller stature, protruding Adam's apple and sharper bone structure.....yes it was a male human

"Get out of here"

It spoke with a deep voice.

'Get out of here.', A command for me to run away from this, but the problem was-! As I was contemplating the command other humans wearing similar red and black clothing appeared in the room. They started assisting the blue cloaked human to get up from the crater he had created earlier. Suddenly a lot of them starting charging towards the figure in front of me with a long metalic object with a weird looking base, apparently it's called a sword. The male human also wasted no time in rushing forward with such a speed my eyes couldn't register his movements. Suddenly, there was a red fluid spilling on the floor,

'i believe this is what humans called blood....a red colour...I'm seeing a lot of new colours today.

A part of ceiling collapsed on those humans, spreading the wave of blood in the room. The male human rushed towards me, pulling out of the way of some small rubble. He put his hands on my deltoids and looked at my face for quite a while with an unreadable expression, I tilted my head in confusion.

Drip...Drip...

Something spattered on my face and clothes, it dropped down my cheeks. Looking down I could tell it was the blood of the human standing in front of me. A small slit like opening on its body was created from a sword shaped object piercing it's body. The human fell unconscious on the floor. The blue cloaked one had stabbed him with a weapon made of flesh, it had four eyeball structure with blood leaking out of them.

The blue cloak human started making a loud and annoying sound with his lip curled upwards.

'so that's the expression for smiling and laughing. It seems a little out of place.'

It turned it's gaze towards me but looked away after a few seconds. It snapped it's finger and two of the red black dress wearing humans appeared and started carrying the brown haired human away. Then two humans appeared and started carrying me away too.

They dropped us in a room with a little light, the bed were made of stone with no type of bedding. There was a small window with metallic rods blocking it.

The human male had bandages around his torso and seemed to be unconscious. I sat at the stone bed and looked around. There were so many new colours, for some i didn't even knew their name. There was a dim bulb in the room, it kept flickering on and off every few seconds. I was a bit annoyed by it so I covered my eyes to avoid it. Being in that room for so long has affected my sensitivity to light, sound and touch.

I stared at the wall while having a cover of my hand on top of my eyes. I was feeling so many new sensations that my head felt like it's going to explod. To calm my head down I decided to the thing I usually do when I'm stressed, looking at a wall and thinking to myself.

After staring at it for quite a while, the bandaged up human finally woke up.

He flinched after seeing me staring at him. I just wanted to ask how he was doing, I know the pain after getting bandages, but the problem was i didn't knew how to speak properly without stuttering.

"Um....do you know where are we?"

He asked me in a hesitant tone. I just shook my head, I heard it's one of the universal gestures that humans can understand.

"I see...."

He just nodded and begin to stare at the ground. After a long time of silence he finally spoke up

"So...um.... what's your name? My name is Julian Raymond.....just call me Julian."

Julian Raymond...it is quite a catchy name, good for him unlike him, i don't even have a name but how can I say that to him

"I-I-I d-dont h-hav-ve a na-me"

I finally spoke up with a stuttering voice, he must think bade of me, probably that I'm restarted or something like that.

"Is that so!? Then what should I call you?"

He seemed shocked for a moment perhaps he had thought that I was mute.

"C-34"

I showed him the C-34 badge located at the hospital gown's end.

"C-34..."

He didn't looked as excited as he looked before.

"Um do you have a plan to escape from here?"

I shaked my head slowly so he understood what I wanted to convey.

Finally a guard opened the door. There were three people behind him. They all grabbed him and took him away. I was just left like they didn't even noticed my existence. I continued to stare at the wall for a long time....again

'should I help him? Or not? It's a big risk.....unlike him neither i know how to fly not I know how to fight. But I've read in a psychology book that you should repay your favour. But how can I save him....'

Just as I was thinking about saving.....what was his name again? Ah, yes Julian, a guard came up and gave me a plate of boiled food. I wasn't intrested in the food a slightest bit. I went behind him and snashed the metal plate on his head. Causing him to fall unconscious on the ground. I begin investigating his body for something useful. I found his id card and sword.

'how do these people swing these with one hand I can barely pick it up with one hand.'

The flickering bulb turned off and a heavy pressure was felt in the air .

Suddenly the entire world seemed to froze.

"Why have you summoned me...."

A deep voice spoke up from somewhere. I suddenly felt to my knees from the pressure released by the voice. It was almost like a boulder had been placed on my shoulders.

"I ask of you again, why have you summoned me...."
