Enzo's POV
My father sent me at which time I should meet up with him. At 5pm I was supposed to meet him. Before I was going to meet him I needed to meet up with Jay, I don't have a good feeling about meeting my father so I need to make sure Eliana, Jennie and Jay all three are safe. As I waited near a cafe that I told I would meet Jay at 3pm. I saw Jay, walking in. As I called him over to the table I was sitting in.
"Hey, you wanted to meet me?" Jay asks casually.
"Yeah there is something I need you to be careful about." I reply seriously. Jay looks into my eyes and reassures me
"it's about your dad, if your worried he would hurt me your dad could never, due to my job I have special connections with the FBI and all his money and assets would go to you and Jennie while he would rot in jail, and if your worried about Eliana and Jennie I promise you I will never let anyone harm those two and I know neither would you." I nod,
"I know Jay but I don't want any three of you to get hurt just be extra careful and look out for yourself, my sister and my girlfriend." I say to Jay. He nods.
"Do you want a drink before we leave?" I ask Jay.
"Nah I'm good, let's head out to Eliana's place real quick so I can distract Eliana and you can talk to Jennie about your dad." Jay replies while getting up. As we reached Eliana's complex with separate rides Jay went to Eliana to distract her while Jennie came outside.
"Enzo are you okay Eliana is also picking up on your behavior" Jennie tells me while putting a hand on my shoulder.
"Jennie just be safe and stay away from dad okay?" I ask her.
"I will and you to be careful I would not wanna lose my brother after all you were the only blood related family that was there for me." Jennie says while softly smiling.
"Same goes for me now bye take care of yourself and Eli" I say softly smiling at her and getting in my car.
"After you're done meeting up with dad, come home to Eliana, bye." she says before I drive away. I nod and then drive away to my fathers place. As I step into the 15 story penthouse I see my father and this other man on the sofa.
"Good to see you Enzo I'm glad you didn't bring my daughter, you see this man and me made and a negotiation and before you say it's about marriage it isn't but if you don't agree with this negotiation, well you see this man over here well he has close ties with Eliana as you may or may not know so he can easily hurt her and I'm guessing you don't want that." my so called father says to me in one breath as soon as I walk in.
"Sir, what is the negotiation?" I ask the other man sitting next to my father.
"Simple just leave, you have two days to leave what I own, in the very two days if you don't then you know who will face the consequences." the other man says to me.
"Yes sir I just can't believe you could do this. It's hard to believe that you even have a heart, if there is nothing else I will leave. Father and sir, please excuse me" I said to them with a stern expression and was about to leave when they said something else that made my blood boil into flames.
