Species Name
Pharaoh-Dragon (Imperial Dragonoid)
Classification
Type: Unique Apex Species
Origin: A hybrid existence born from human, Dragonoid, and True Dragon essence.
Status: First and only known specimen – Atem, Pharaoh of Eterna.
Appearance
Height: Taller than his former human form, standing nearly 2 meters (over 6'5").
Build: Perfectly sculpted physique, balanced between lean warrior's grace and overwhelming kingly presence. Every muscle is defined, but not brutish—he radiates power without losing elegance.
Skin: Smooth and flawless, faint golden markings resembling ancient hieroglyphs glow across his arms, chest, and back whenever he releases his aura. These markings shift faintly, as if alive, when he channels power.
Eyes: Molten gold, glowing like the rising sun. When using Horus, Eternal Judge, they shine with a divine light that pierces through illusions and fear. Change colors at will.
Hair: Dark with golden streaks shimmering under light, almost like a crown of fire when his aura is unleashed.
Aura: Regal, commanding, suffused with divine majesty. Not crushing like a dragon's, but instead inspiring awe and obedience. Beasts bow instinctively, warriors tremble, and allies feel uplifted by his presence.
Notable Trait: No tail, no beastly features. Retains a pure humanoid form but perfected—he looks less like a monster and more like a living god-king.
Abilities of the Pharaoh-Dragon
1. Sovereign Aura
The aura of a Pharaoh-Dragon is unlike any other. Where True Dragons overwhelm with raw might, Atem's aura commands. It enforces obedience in weaker beings and steadies the hearts of allies.
Weak-willed enemies kneel instinctively.
Allies experience courage, focus, and empowerment within his presence.
Functions as a living morale engine in battlefields.
Divine Adaptability
The Pharaoh-Dragon's body and soul are rewritten to adapt instantly. Any absorbed skill, energy, or power scales to his level without corruption or instability. This makes him a perfect vessel for powers that would normally shatter lesser beings.
3. Hybrid Core
Dragonoid Side: Physical durability, regeneration, and immense energy reserves.
True Dragon Side: Control of magicules on a planetary scale, reality-bending presence.
Pharaoh Core: Authority, judgment, and sovereignty—allowing Atem to command power itself rather than merely wield it.
Fate Domination
As a Pharaoh-Dragon, Atem's link to fate is direct. His actions carry the weight of inevitability.
His decisions subtly bend probability.
His commands carry "cosmic authority," making resistance almost impossible.
With Horus, Eternal Judge, he can enforce duels or strip enemies of their strength under divine law.
Deck Resurrection
His bond with his past world resurfaces fully. Atem can now call upon all the Soul Guardians in his deck, save for the Three Egyptian Gods (Ra, Obelisk, Slifer), which remain sealed. Each Guardian manifests with greater clarity, infused with Pharaoh-Dragon magicules, fighting as if alive.
Resistances
Physical Damage: Near-absolute. Weapons without Ultimate enchantments cannot harm him.
Magic: Immune to all forms of conventional magic. Only Ultimate Skills, True Dragon-level magic, or conceptual powers can affect him.
Soul Attacks: Nullified. His soul is fortified with both True Dragon essence and Pharaoh's eternal will.
Mental Domination: Impossible. His sovereign presence overrides any attempt to control his mind.
Decay/Corruption: Corruption-based attacks, curses, and poisons dissolve on contact.
Comparison with Other Apex Beings
Versus True Dragons:
True Dragons are pure embodiments of natural laws and raw destruction. Pharaoh-Dragons do not surpass them in raw destructive might, but Atem's species has something True Dragons lack—control. He can bend, judge, and command power in ways a True Dragon cannot.
Versus Dragonoids:
Dragonoids are hybrids who inherit fragments of dragon traits. Pharaoh-Dragons completely overshadow them, standing as a perfected evolution: the divine ruler's version of a Dragonoid.
Versus high tier True Demon Lords:
While Demon Lords ascend through soul evolution and strength, Pharaoh-Dragons are born rulers. Even without the title of Demon Lord, a Pharaoh-Dragon naturally wields authority that places them on equal footing—or beyond.
Versus Humans:
No comparison. A Pharaoh-Dragon is a different existence entirely. They are the perfected form of a human soul merged with dragonkind and divine rulership.
The Pharaoh-Dragon is not a monster, not a beast, but a living divine ruler. Taller, stronger, more regal, Atem embodies kingship itself. Unlike True Dragons, who embody natural chaos, Pharaoh-Dragons embody order, sovereignty, and destiny.
Where a True Dragon's power inspires fear, a Pharaoh-Dragon's power inspires both fear and reverence. It is not just destruction, but judgment.
⚡ Atem is the first Pharaoh-Dragon, and in him lies a new path of evolution—a species born to rule.
Even though Milim's barrier shone brilliantly, weaving layers of containment magic around the cavern, the sheer magnitude of Atem's evolution could not be completely hidden. The barrier groaned and cracked like glass under pressure before knitting itself back together as Milim reinforced it with more power.
The cave pulsed with light like a second sun had been born underground, but what neither Milim nor Atem realized was that the energy was too primal, too foreign, too new to be fully contained. What slipped past her barrier wasn't raw force but a resonance—like the sound of a new heartbeat echoing through the world itself.
And the strongest beings across the continents felt it.
High atop the frozen castle of the Ice Continent, Velzard stirred from her quiet watch. A chill unlike any other—alien even in her domain of eternal frost—made her eyes narrow.
"Hmph… what is this? It's not Veldora… yet it feels close."
The White Ice Dragon let her magicules flare instinctively, a thin frost creeping across the hall she sat within. Her instincts screamed both caution and curiosity, something that hadn't happened in countless years.
Next to her, Guy Crimson felt it too. The King of Demon Lords froze mid-conversation, his crimson eyes flickering with recognition and unease.
"...That's not an ordinary power-up," Guy muttered, tapping a clawed finger on his throne. "It's not a True Dragon… but it's not a mortal either. Something new just stepped into the world."
He leaned back, a rare grin tugging at his lips.
"Heh. Things are about to get entertaining."
In the Eastern Empire, Velgrynd, the Scorch Dragon, suddenly straightened. Flames danced across her hair as her golden eyes turned toward the distant west. She clenched her fists, heat surging in waves.
"That presence… it's like a True Dragon, yet… different."
Her sharp gaze flicked toward Rudra, who sat beside her, calmly sipping his tea. But even Rudra had paused, his usually serene face shadowed with seriousness.
"Velgrynd. This isn't a natural occurrence," Rudra said quietly. "The world has accepted something new. I can feel it."
Velgrynd smirked, masking her unease with arrogance.
"Then maybe it's a rival. About time someone shook up this stagnant world."
But deep down, even she wondered—was this new presence a threat to the natural balance?
Even the voice of the world itself seemed to tremble faintly, like a subtle acknowledgment of a being that should not exist yet now did.
Back in the cave, Milim wiped sweat from her brow, her arms still glowing as she reinforced the barrier again. She looked at Atem, who was still bathed in blinding light, and her lips curved into a grin.
"Heh… Atem, you're causing a storm across the world right now. I bet even Guy and Velzard felt that one."
Her voice was half proud, half thrilled. She knew the others would be talking about this for a long, long time.
