Tang Ya smiled lightly and nodded."Teacher Li, I've decided. Staying here, I can't keep up with everyone. Better to withdraw."

Yuhao smiled."I'm at the age of growing. Normal, right? So, did you miss me, Sis?"
Arms spread, inviting a hug.
Ma Xiaotao looked at the boy who was now slightly taller than her — once half a head shorter — feeling strange and emotional.
Then she stepped forward and hugged him."Not bad, you grew. Even taller than me."
Yuhao felt her warmth and scent, but only hugged briefly and let go.
"Alright, stop showing affection, you two."Yan Shaozhe teased."This trip exhausted me."
"Teacher! Don't talk nonsense!"Ma Xiaotao blushed, then grinned."Teacher, I'll go prepare a feast to welcome you back!"
Yan Shaozhe laughed."No rush. Let's return to the academy first."
They walked together as Ma Xiaotao questioned Yuhao.
"You got your third Soul Ring? What Soul Beast?"
Yuhao replied,"We originally wanted a Purple Spirit Wolf, waited days with no luck, then met a Silver Shadow Beast and killed it."
"How many years?" Ma Xiaotao asked, knowing he could absorb high-year rings.
"Thirteen thousand years."
She trembled, stunned, but simply nodded.
Yuhao changed the topic."Sis, I want to introduce someone to you."
"Who?"
"Remember my opponent in the freshman final? The girl I made hug me?"
"Zhu Lu?"Ma Xiaotao remembered."Weren't you two hostile?"
Yuhao smirked."Strictly speaking, I'm hostile with her fiancé. With her? Just normal."
"…Then why introduce her to me?"
Yuhao smiled."If she didn't withdraw at the start of term, it means she submitted to me and cut ties with her family. And since you're free now without the Evil Fire problem, I want you to guide her. I plan to cultivate her — she'll be useful."
