Chapter 3 - Chap.3: Junkyard

(POV Hiro)

School was nice and all but now since I'm Sixteen I can cash in on a deal I made with my parents a long time ago on my seventh birthday which was to visit a junkyard and go dumpster diving for stuff.

Scratch that treasure hunting and making modifications to my toys.

At first my parents disagreed cause at first I asked to be aloud at the age of ten which soon turned into bad negotiations leading me to my current location. Dave's Junkyard.

This was the best place to dive after following my phone for directions which was hard cause of the many turns it took to get there.

But I made it eventually once there I was overthrown by the possibility of finding great treasure. Being an assortment of different goods not just computers chips or car parts but Everything and Anything I could grab or put in my backpack or on top of my Red Wagon.

Speaking of I brought a wagon which my dad used when he used to take me here to get stuff that he chose with my expert guidance of course.

But the best part of Dave's Junkyard was that it's all free! As long as I don't drop anything or sue the owner if anything possibly falls on top of me. Which I totally understand.

I of course like any other junk diver would waste all day looking through stuff but because of the owner and a bit of my parents I have to be back by five pm.

And it was already three so in prep for this day I created a set of googles. Yes you guessed that they look toy like. These googles look like Naruto's googles before he had gotten his ninja headband.

The googles were mainly green in a military like form but in the center on the eyes had white spots resembling a frog. And just like a frog the eye sockets were extended with glass like structure at the end to capitalize the likeness of it.

On the outside the googles looked toylike but on the inside they were inspection googles that observed everything and only highlighted in green any good technology or materials.

The Sticky Bomb was good but that was left over by my chemist set. Speaking of my birthday was simple with my Mom and Dad.

I had a cake, wishes, and presents I had gotten a robotics, chemist, and coding set.

And not the cheap stuff either it was like the boxes a big Lego set had that was worth over several thousands of pieces.

Using as much valuable time as possible I left home as soon as I could without opening my presents at least after ripping the wrapping paper off.

Using my googles I was able to highlight some used but can still be used and improved technology.

I first found old computer chips and other technological nicknacks. Until my highlighted vision googles spotted something in between two cars.

Both of them seemed stacked on top of each other thanks to the magnet crane or whatever it's called.

Unless there was a super solider serum in this junk or I had a device that aloud me to control gravity I won't be able to get that piece of technology. Unless?

(POV General)

Dave the owner of Dave's Junkyard has collected many pieces of technology that was dispensed as junk from companies like Stark, Oscorp, A.I.M, and other technological corporations.

Dave was like Hiro in the sense of being a dumpster diver which he got from his grandfather who was someone who could make anything out of nothing.

"Hello sir!"

A black haired and eyed Asian boy walked into Dave's office. Dave was familiar with Hiro cause he'd normally visit with his father after work.

"Hey Hiro what do ya need?"

Hiro after walking into the room didn't bring his red wagon with him and left it outside as it was too heavy to take up the small flight of stairs.

However Hiro did keep both his Backpack and his Googles on his forehead showing off a smile of joy and amusement towards Dave. Who was way too familiar with this look.

"What'd you find?"

Dave was like a child whenever Hiro showed him this look it always felt like Christmas at first when Dave had met Hiro he thought he was just a normal kid. He was wrong.

After using Hiro's toy googles he was marveled at the machinations of it as it highlighted every valuable piece of technology that was within seeing distance.

"Sort of I need your help."

Dave looked at Hiro with a brief gaze as he tried to ascertain what he had found.

However Dave couldn't see anything as Hiro's goofy smile prevented any chance of deciphering what he thought.

"All right where is it?"

"Section A"

Hiro's smile only grew as he began to exit out of the shop as Dave slowly walked taking down a set of keys that hung off a tac in the wall.

Adorned in said keys were several ornaments one of them was a small toy robot that Hiro had made for him.

The small robot in question was in the shape of a small bird with black fluff to it.

The reason why for its feathers were referred to as 'Fluff' was that Hiro oddly stated to Dave that's it's 'Fluff' would become feathers not that he understood of course and just simply followed the teens delusions.

After walking out Hiro began to joyfully drag his red wagon which was filled with robot parts and computer chips with different association names stapled onto them.

once outside Dave shielded his eyes from the burning sun looking down at his shirt which had grease from a car he recently brought in and personally checked.

Dave's shirt was originally white but due to constant grim and grease the shirts color slowly faded with each wash designating itself to be his work shirt.

His other clothes weren't as messed up as his shirt as he wore steel toed boots with blue jeans. Which were kept by a black belt with a longhorn belt buckle.

After walking down the stairs Dave finally was used to the sun lowering his hand and gripped the keys while his other hand was in his pocket.

"Alright let's see what you found Kid."

Hiro didn't turn around but walked with a little pep In his step which Dave took note of and only smirked from his reaction.

After a five minute walk Hiro had proper the Wagons handle up stopping any further movement at least without his control.

Once the wagon stopped Dave watched Hiro point to his Crane that held two cars together.

One of the two vehicles was a red Volkswagen. Which had been crumbled by a Cyber truck.

Dave knew the cause of this wreckage in fact these two vehicles had crashed together forming this ball of steel and metal forced to become an unwanted ball of machine parts.

Once after remembering the way the two cars collided at least from what he was told by the recovery agent.

Dave went inside his crane after telling Hiro to back up away from any chance of being hurt as he didn't want the police chief on his ass.

Hiro understanding took the Red Wagons handle and towed it away far enough to not be harmed and for good measure hid away behind a damaged car. Dave after seeing Hiro hide for cover walked to his crane.

The crane itself was painted yellow however the very same paint is scratching off due to grim and dust from the junk yard.

Inside the crane was the opposite the chair was plump filled with old rags that aren't being used to help Dave not feel the uncomfortableness of the chair it was before.

Besides the chair the levers were cleaned well from the rod to their joints as Dave only had one crane and didn't want it damaged so much it can't be fixed.

After sitting down Dave pulled the control rod away in a direction opposite of Hiro watching the magnetized end of it slowly move.

Once far enough Dave pressed a button the the side of the control rod causing the ball of steel to fall hitting the ground separating the two vehicles.

Once dropped Hiro couldn't control himself running towards the new debris wanting to see what was found only to be surprised by what was found.
