To let the soul leave the body, you must first feel where the soul is.
This is a pretty abstract process. In the ninja world, there isn't a really good method for it yet.
In other words, you can do it, or you can't. To go from not being able to do it to being able to do it, you just have to understand it yourself...

Yakushi Kabuto thought it was because Orochimaru-sama took Karin and her mother by force, but now it seemed that Kusagakure had other reasons.
Tailed beasts... Does Kusagakure really think they can have one with their small size?
The sheep-masked elder said in a deep voice, "Kabuto, please help our Kusagakure Ninja out. We'll pay you well."

Yakushi Kabuto thought the two S-rank missing-nin were on Kusagakure's side. Kakuzu and Sasori of the Red Sand were acting like it too. Because they were all careful, they would probably reach an agreement and not fall apart in the middle.
You can't catch a tiger cub without going into the tiger's den. Kusagakure had to take this risk. Otherwise, they would never be able to change their fate of being bullied by the big countries.
And the tailed beast isn't their real goal. It's just a key.
