Chapter 15 - Ch.15

A bird chirped outside the window, and Luo Cheng opened his eyes, yawning lazily. His senses were slowly coming back to life like fresh snow in spring. On his right side, a soft sensation greeted him. A black-haired girl was curled up on his shoulder like a little cat. Her long, black hair covered her body, and her fair skin looked even more pristine against the dark backdrop. Her slightly flat chest rose and fell gently, indicating she was fast asleep. Luo Cheng had seen this scene countless times. He instinctively pulled her closer, burying his face in her. A faint coffee scent filled his nostrils, and her skin was soft and springy.

Normally, Luo Cheng would wake up naturally. Later, to get in shape, he started exercising regularly. His chaotic lifestyle was taking a toll on his mental state. At this time of day, he should have been out for a morning run, but for some reason, his body felt abnormally exhausted, as if he had been working out for a whole day and night. Luo Cheng reached out and stroked Cafe's ear. He loved horse girls' ears; they were soft and fluffy, just like a pet cat's. Their tails were the same way, with a fluffy texture and a faint scent. They were the perfect way to pass the time. Petting them, an entire afternoon would pass by. Was there anything more wonderful than petting a horse girl's ears in the morning? No!

Under Luo Cheng's gentle touch, Cafe also woke up. Her eyes were hazy as she looked around. When she saw Luo Cheng, it was as if a switch had been flipped, and her mind was instantly activated. She remembered what happened last night. She had taken the Trainer back to the dorm. Seeing that he was full of energy, she thought of helping him relax. Her mind was so consumed with the Trainer that she couldn't think of anything else. In the end, with a soft "mwah," she and the Trainer separated, and she lay next to him, falling into a contented sleep.

Why did this happen?! Cafe was mortified. How did I do something like this in the heat of the moment?! It was... it was...! Cafe couldn't find the words to describe her behavior. She had tainted the Trainer, the Trainer who shared her loneliness, and had taken advantage of him while he was sleeping. What have I done?

Cafe was filled with regret. She looked up, wanting to beg for the Trainer's forgiveness, but he was leisurely holding her and stroking her ear. His lazy expression seemed to suggest that he didn't care about what had happened last night at all. What's going on? The Trainer isn't angry at all.Did he wake up in the middle and pretend to be asleep? The movies Cafe had watched came to mind. She couldn't think of any other explanation. Otherwise, wouldn't he be panicking at the sight of his horse girl lying naked next to him?

"Trainer," Cafe said softly. Hearing her voice, the man's movements paused. He turned his head, and his dark eyes met hers. A few seconds later, Luo Cheng quietly moved his hand away and pressed his fingers to his forehead.

That's right, this isn't the game!

Luo Cheng shot up, and his movement pulled the comforter away, exposing Cafe's boneless body. Seeing the not-yet-dry marks on the sheets, the man hesitated. "Cafe... did I, by any chance, tie you up and bring you to the room last night?"

The girl sat up, holding the comforter to cover her chest. Her face was flushed all the way down to her neck. Without hiding anything, Cafe truthfully confessed her actions from the night before. She had, in a moment of madness and against the Trainer's will, forced herself upon him. She was prepared to be scolded by the Trainer.

However, after hearing Cafe's description, Luo Cheng's expression was one of understanding. So that's how it is. I didn't tie her up. I was the one who was tied up. That made a lot more sense.

"Aren't you angry, Trainer? I did that kind of thing," Cafe said, curling up her body. In the sunlight, her shoulders had a plump, collagen-rich roundness.

"I'm a little angry," Luo Cheng said seriously. "Why didn't you wake me up? I could have been more proactive."

"...Huh?"

"It's a bit of a shame. We wasted such a good opportunity." As a strong young man, why would Luo Cheng reject a horse girl's invitation, especially Cafe's? And in this situation, there was no emotional entanglement to worry about. Besides the daily routine, it was all about the fight. This was Luo Cheng's life. It was a shame that his first night with a real horse girl was wasted like this.

"I didn't get to see Cafe's alluring side," Luo Cheng said, heartbroken.

These words caused Cafe's pupils to tremble. What? The Trainer doesn't dislike it. Not only that, he even likes it a little. No, he likes it a lot! Does that mean we have mutual feelings? Thinking this, Cafe's lips curled up into a smile. Her impulsive act had been the right one.

Unaware of Cafe's thoughts, Luo Cheng yawned and looked at the clock on the wall. He was still in the real world. He hadn't gone back. Thank goodness. He had been alone in the game world for so long that his mental state was starting to deteriorate. If he stayed there for a while longer, Luo Cheng wasn't sure what he would become. If he were to seek out greater stimulation and start looking for morbid things, he would be completely finished. Not just him, but all the horse girls at Tracen would be in danger. No one could stop the Luo Cheng in the game world. He could do whatever he wanted. The dating sim could turn into a yandere simulator in a second.

"Trainer." Cafe wiggled her tender feet under the covers. Stimulated by Luo Cheng's words, she was getting turned on again. "If you don't mind, let's..."

"Luo Cheng!" The President's voice came from outside, and the doorknob rattled.

The President!? Why is she here?! Luo Cheng's heart sank. He suddenly remembered that he had to work. He was late! He glanced at Cafe, decisively pushed her back onto the bed, wrapped her in the comforter, stuffed her inside, and then turned his back to cover her. The two of them were pressed tightly together.

The entire sequence was a smooth and fluid motion. Just as Luo Cheng finished, the door opened, and Akikawa Yayoi walked in.

"Shocking! You're still sleeping! Do you know what time it is?"

"President." Luo Cheng coughed feigning illness, his voice a mix of truth and falsehood. "I'm not feeling well. I'm dizzy and weak. I might have caught a cold last night from not covering up properly."

"Not feeling well!? Are you okay? Should I call a doctor?" Akikawa Yayoi's chest tightened.

"No need. I'll be fine after some rest."

Akikawa Yayoi walked over to him and sat on the edge of the bed. At this moment, only Luo Cheng separated Cafe and the President. He remembered how Tokai Teio and Seiun Sky's rivalry almost tore him apart. If the President saw Cafe sleeping with him, wouldn't she explode on the spot? A horse girl's nature was not something a game could capture. If they said they would end you, they would end you.

Akikawa Yayoi reached out, ready to feel Luo Cheng's forehead, when the man suddenly yelped.

"What's wrong?"

"N-nothing."

He had been bitten by Cafe.
