Chapter 32 - Ch.32

It wasn't strange for a game character to greet him, but what was strange was that she called him by his name. In Tracen, he only had one identity: "Trainer." Everyone called him that. Junakawa Tazuna was the first one to add his name to the title.

Luo Cheng was stunned for a moment before replying.

"The President has some things she wants to discuss with Trainer Luo Cheng. Please follow me."

For a moment, Luo Cheng thought he had transmigrated back to reality. He followed behind Junakawa Tazuna, asking along the way, "What is it?"

She didn't answer.

"Ms. Junakawa?"

No response.

Luo Cheng decided to grab her hand. Junakawa Tazuna stopped like a doll. She wasn't a real person; she was just executing a system task, just like how she stood by the door every morning to greet the students. This time, her task was to lead Luo Cheng to the President's office.

Even so, this was enough to shock Luo Cheng. After half a year, this group of people was actively engaging with him for the first time.

Just as Luo Cheng was about to let go, he found that Junakawa Tazuna had turned her hand and gripped his. Her grip was even stronger than Tokai Teio's. He couldn't break free.

"Junakawa..."

"Please follow me," she repeated, just like an NPC in a game leading the player, repeating the same line.

Luo Cheng's eye twitched as he looked at her unchanging gentle smile. He walked next to Junakawa Tazuna and was led by her to the President's office.

Yayoi Akikawa was sitting in her chair. When the two entered the room, she stood up.

"Welcome!" she said, a trademark catchphrase.

"Trainer Luo Cheng, our school is preparing to use virtual reality equipment for training. We would like to invite you to be one of the initial test participants."

Virtual reality equipment? Could it be... Luo Cheng immediately thought of the [Master's Cup], a story arc where you train in a virtual reality world and compete against AI horse girls.

So the current plot was the [Master's Cup]? Did I trigger a storyline? But I didn't enter a quest.

Luo Cheng pinched his chin. This might be a plotline that was triggered in the game world. And a virtual reality world... I'm already in one. The programmers created the world, but they didn't create the AI, so everyone is a low-intelligence NPC. They could have at least put their minds in there to fool me! Luo Cheng complained internally.

"What exactly do I need to do?" Luo Cheng asked. However, Yayoi Akikawa remained in her pose with the fan, not moving or answering, as if she couldn't understand.

Is my question outside the script...? Or does she just not know?

Luo Cheng sighed and said, "Okay, I agree."

"Thank you, Trainer Luo Cheng."

As soon as she finished speaking, a message popped up in front of Luo Cheng: [Entering plot-based training: Master's Cup].

Wait, does that mean I can also refuse to enter other plots?

The Umamusume game has many different plot routes, such as the original URA, the Pinnacle Cup, the Grand Live, the Youth Cup, and many more. He was now entering the plotline that used virtual reality equipment for races. The only benefit of this route was that he could meet the three goddesses. However, Luo Cheng had already guessed that the three goddesses in this world were also most likely game characters, or that they were AI. For Luo Cheng, this world was almost an unsolvable puzzle; there was no way out but to complete the tasks.

"The test will be next week. You will be notified then."

After saying this, Yayoi Akikawa stopped moving. A few seconds later, she returned to her seat and started grading documents as if nothing had happened.

The task was complete, and Luo Cheng was ready to leave. He noticed that Junakawa Tazuna was still holding his hand.

"Tazuna?"

Her body was motionless. She wasn't Luo Cheng's horse girl, so Luo Cheng had no command authority over her. But this was clearly a problem. Why would Tazuna suddenly grab him? And he couldn't break free. As the hidden boss of Tracen, Junakawa Tazuna's strength was absurdly high. It was unrealistic to rely on brute force to get away. Even though her hands were soft and tender and smelled sweet, once she grabbed you, it was like being handcuffed.

Since talking didn't work, Luo Cheng had to try a different approach. Her jade-green eyes reflected Luo Cheng's face. Soon, Tazuna's breathing became ragged, and her grip on Luo Cheng's hand loosened slightly. Luo Cheng, with a wet fingertip, raised an eyebrow.

It seemed it wasn't enough. Junakawa Tazuna had self-control. In that case, Luo Cheng had to try another way. He unbuttoned his uniform. The milky white skin contrasted sharply with the black lace bra, firmly capturing the man's gaze. Come to think of it, he had been neglecting Tazuna for a while. It was time for a refresher.

"Trainer Luo Cheng, I will come to notify you when the time comes," the now radiant and glowing Junakawa Tazuna said to Luo Cheng.

She looked several years younger, almost the same age as the students at Tracen. She could blend in perfectly. Luo Cheng had put her green uniform back on, but the clothes underneath were accidentally soiled by Luo Cheng. The black stockings were also accidentally ripped, exposing her plump, round thighs.

Junakawa Tazuna bowed slightly to Luo Cheng, a wide smile on her face. In fact, whether the clothes were soiled or torn, these horse girls would fix them themselves. Tomorrow, they would be spotless again. So there was no need to worry that she would be walking around like this.

"Okay," Luo Cheng replied, his voice a little weak. He had pushed himself too hard today. He had already expended a lot of energy with Teio and Cafe, and now he had used up even more to get Tazuna to let go.

Luo Cheng could only hope for his nightly refresh. By the way, the ears hidden under Tazuna's hat were quite large. Luo Cheng felt like his soul had been sucked out.

He limply left Tazuna and went to Agness Tachyon's research lab. He had intended to bring the fish while they were still warm, but now they were stone cold.

"Tachyon, I brought you some food."

He spoke to the busy figure at the lab bench, who was saying her fixed lines. Luo Cheng took out the flyer from his pocket and placed it on the table. He didn't know if Agness Tachyon could understand him now, but she was probably the only person in this world who could give him an answer. It was a long shot, but he had to try.

"The words on the flyer are gone, and this food from the outside has special effects. I'm leaving it all to you."

After speaking, Luo Cheng sat for a while and then left. A few minutes later, Agness Tachyon picked up the flyer and examined it carefully.
