When you talk about Tokai Teio, there are a few other horse girls you can't ignore besides Honey Special Drinks and arcades. One of them is her friend and rival, Mejiro McQueen.
Luo Cheng looked at the young woman in front of him. Her long purple hair fell naturally, swaying in the breeze, and the carefully maintained strands had a faint, beautiful sheen. Her deep, bright purple eyes exuded the calm composure of a noblewoman.
Mejiro McQueen greeted the two with an elegant smile. The first time they met, Luo Cheng was captivated by McQueen's demeanor. Her delicate features surpassed even Tokai Teio's. In both looks and personality, McQueen appealed to Luo Cheng more than Teio.
Unfortunately, this otherwise perfect girl had one fatal flaw. Luo Cheng looked at her chest. While Teio's size was just right, McQueen's was barely big enough to cover with one hand, with only a slight curve. She was definitely one of the flattest in all of Tracen Academy, even less than Manhattan Cafe, and had nowhere to put anything like Silent Suzuka. Luo Cheng felt the awkwardness of an iron rod meeting a steel plate.
"McQueen, you came to play too!" Tokai Teio said, happily walking over to greet her.
"Yep. Did Trainer Luo Cheng bring you out?"
"Hehe~ Of course he did. My Trainer promised to help me break my record!" Tokai Teio said proudly, placing her hands on her hips. Mejiro McQueen gave a helpless smile. "Trainer Luo Cheng must be working hard."
"It's fine."
Luo Cheng had forgotten the last time he saw McQueen, but he remembered her affection level was around 70. Although McQueen might have lacked in some areas compared to Teio, as a noblewoman, she took very good care of her body. Her hair and tail had a faint, pleasant scent, and her skin was incredibly supple and smooth to the touch. Perhaps because of her personality, McQueen's sounds were more reserved. Unlike Teio and Narita Brian, who were loud and boisterous and liked to bite when they got excited, McQueen preferred to look into a person's eyes, her purple irises quietly reflecting their face.
In terms of initiative, McQueen was much weaker than Teio, but her refined and ladylike personality gave Luo Cheng the strange feeling that she was the "main wife" and Teio was just a "concubine" vying for his attention.
"Well then, let's get started! Let's have some fun today!" Tokai Teio raised her fist and charged into the depths of the arcade.
"Oh, Teio... honestly. Let's go too, Trainer Luo Cheng." Mejiro McQueen naturally took Luo Cheng's hand. "Is this your first time at an arcade, Trainer Luo Cheng?"
"No, I came to play with Teio after a race once."
"A race? Teio is really incredible now. She's gotten so strong. It's all thanks to your excellent guidance, Trainer Luo Cheng."
"I'm just a half-baked trainer. I'm not that great."
"You're very humble. That's a good quality too." Mejiro McQueen smiled. "Oh, by the way, Trainer Luo Cheng, the Mejiro family is holding a birthday party for my mother soon. If you don't mind, would you be able to attend?"
"The Mejiro family?" Luo Cheng remembered the Mejiro sisters. He had already maxed out the affection of one of them. "Wouldn't it be inappropriate for an outsider like me to go to a birthday party?"
"No, many of our business partners will be coming to celebrate with Mother. It's not just for the Mejiro family. You can attend as well. Besides, you're not an outsider to us."
"I see..." Luo Cheng nodded. "If I can make it, I will."
"That would be wonderful." Mejiro McQueen showed a gentle smile. Seeing her expression, Luo Cheng couldn't help but reach out and pat her head. Her two cute purple ears twitched rapidly, and her face instantly turned red.
"T-Trainer..."
"Ah, it's a habit."
"It's... fine."
"What are you two doing! Hurry up and come over here!" Impatient from waiting too long, Tokai Teio shouted. Luo Cheng quickly walked over, leaving Mejiro McQueen behind. She touched the ears on her head, her heart thumping in her chest. She patted her flushed cheeks and took a deep breath. Once her expression returned to normal, she began to walk.
"Trainer!" Tokai Teio said, putting her hands on her hips. "This time, watch me break my high score record!" With that, she chose the same dance machine as last time and started dancing. Luo Cheng and Mejiro McQueen stood on the side.
"McQueen! What are you doing? Come on over!"
"Huh? Me?"
"You're the rival of the great Tokai Teio. Since I'm dancing here, you have to as well," Tokai Teio said, pointing to the spot next to her.
"This is a popular dance style," Mejiro McQueen said, looking at Luo Cheng with a troubled expression.
"Doesn't it look fun?" Luo Cheng replied.
"...Alright, I'll give it a try. Just so you know, I've never danced to popular music before, so I'll need to get a little used to it. That doesn't mean you're any better than I am, understand?"
"Of course."
Mejiro McQueen looked at Luo Cheng one more time before stepping onto the dance machine. The two of them began to move to the music. Back at Tracen, they were always like this, always together. Luo Cheng just watched them silently from the side. As a player, he couldn't join in on what felt like scripted dialogue between background characters.
When the song ended, Luo Cheng looked at the score. "Second place?" Above Tokai Teio's score was a player named 'Cai Gou'.
"This guy... is only one point higher than me? Let's go again!" Tokai Teio's competitive spirit was ignited.
This scene was so familiar. Last time, Tokai Teio was also beaten by this person, who kept winning by just one point, as if on purpose to annoy her. She ended up dancing for most of the day.
Is that story going to play out again?Seriously, no matter which world it is, this person just has to mess with Teio... And why is this person in a support card story? Is she also a character required for the plot?
Luo Cheng squinted, staring at the scoreboard.
"Teio, I can't. I need to take a break..." McQueen got off the dance machine, out of breath and drenched in sweat. She looked at the still-energetic Tokai Teio and couldn't help but marvel at her frightening stamina.
"Damn it! Why?" Tokai Teio's hair stood on end. The person opposite her was also racking up a score, and it was always just one point higher than hers.
Mejiro McQueen and Luo Cheng stood on the side.
"I'm so thirsty..." McQueen tugged at her collar, her eyes fixed on the cup in Luo Cheng's hand. She said casually, "Trainer, do you have any water?"
"I've got half a Honey Special Drink here. Do you want it?"
"If it's okay..."
McQueen took the cup and saw the obvious bite marks on the straw. She swallowed, then took a drink with a flushed face, her tongue constantly licking at the marks until she had finished the drink. She then licked her lips and let go of the straw.
