Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Comic Convention (Part 1)

Xavier shook his head and threw the idea out of his mind.

It's getting late now, and they'll probably arrive at the comic convention at 11 o'clock.

After packing up roughly, he prepared to go out with the two of them.

"Swish!"

However, at this moment, another white light flashed, and Yoimiya actually came.

"Sister Yoimiya!"

The first thing Klee did when she saw Yoimiya was to rush over.

"Haha, Klee, I finally see you!" Yoimiya picked up Klee and spun around.

Yoimiya and Klee both knew that the other had come to Xavier's house, but unfortunately they had never met each other.

During the Rongcai Festival, Klee went to Inazuma and established a deep friendship with Yoimiya.

So even though they haven't seen each other for a long time, there is no gap between the two of them, as if they are real sisters.

"Yoimiya, you came just in time. We were just planning to go to the comic convention."

Originally, Xavier thought that Yoimiya would not come today, but he didn't expect that the timing was just right.

"Comic convention?" Yoimiya had of course heard Xavier mention it, and asked with anticipation, "Dad hasn't been feeling well these past couple of days, so I haven't been here. I didn't expect to be able to attend a comic convention right after arriving!"

"Xavier, who is this? Why don't you introduce her to us quickly?" Furina was dissatisfied with Xavier for not introducing her immediately.

Xavier then remembered that they had never met before, so he introduced them.

"Yoimiya, this is Furina, from Fontaine, a great actress."

"Furina, this is Yoimiya, from Inazuma. She's very knowledgeable about fireworks."

When Yoimiya heard Furina's name, her eyes lit up and she said, "So you are Furina. I've heard so much about you!"

"Ahaha, really? I didn't expect my fame to have spread to Inazuma."

Furina didn't expect that Yoimiya had also heard of her name, and she was secretly delighted.

"Okay, okay, let's talk on the way. It's getting late."

Xavier could see that the two of them seemed to be very compatible, and if they started talking, there would probably be no end to it.

Sure enough, the two started chatting with each other as soon as they got in the car.

"By the way, am I this famous in Inazuma?"

"Of course, you've been playing a god for five hundred years. Even Yae Miko has published fan works about you."

"Although it's not surprising given my influence, I'm still a little curious about what was written."

On the surface, Furina seemed not to care at all, but in fact she really wanted to know what she looked like in the eyes of the Inazuma people.

"Um..."

Yoimiya thought for a moment and said, "I remember there was a book called 'Lady Furina Fell in Love with Me'."

"What? How could this be!" Furina couldn't accept it. "I don't want to date anyone. It will only make my fan base drop!"

Yoimiya smiled and consoled her, "Haha, it's okay. It's actually a pure love story. It's just about your daily life with the protagonist. You have so many fans, the author wouldn't dare to go too far."

Furina breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that the people of Teyvat were still quite reserved.

Unlike this world, I heard that there are many works about myself, and they are all weird.

It would be fine if there were just novels, but there are even animated works, and they're in 3D!

Although I don't really understand it, I always feel that it is not a good thing.

Amidst laughter and joy, the group soon arrived at the hotel where the comic convention was held.

"Remember, you must keep a low profile, otherwise you will be surrounded and then you won't be able to fully experience the comic convention."

When verifying the electronic ticket, Xavier gave another reminder.

"Oh, we get it, let's not waste any more time!"

Furina couldn't wait any longer and pushed Xavier in impatiently.

When they entered, the three of them were shocked by the unprecedented scene.

"It's Brother Venti!"

Klee saw someone cosplaying as Venti and pointed in the distance and shouted.

Soon, Klee discovered that there was not only her brother Venti here.

"And there's Sister Eula, Brother Albedo, and why is there Captain Jean too…"

On this day, Klee recalled the fear of being dominated by Captain Jean.

"Oh my god, I didn't expect that even the Shogun is here, and the Palace Chief is here too."

"Hahaha, I didn't expect there would be someone playing a little raccoon cat. It's just a little too tall!"

When Yoimiya saw the familiar Inazuma, she immediately felt a sense of familiarity.

If Sayu knew what Yoimiya said about her, she would probably say: Are you polite?

"Hmm? Someone actually plays that old-fashioned guy Neuvillette. Navia is pretty good…"

"Wait, how could this be? Why are there so many people pretending to be me?"

Furina looked around and found that many people were cosplaying herself.

This feeling was so subtle and strange that Furina couldn't describe it.

Xavier explained: "Of course, this is the Fontaine version, and you are the most popular character."

"Hmph, that goes without saying. But even so, it's still a bit too much," said Furina complacently.

In fact, people are like this, they will follow whatever is popular.

However, sometimes the word "follow the trend" cannot be considered a derogatory term, because everyone is energizing the characters and figures they love, which can be regarded as a kind of consensus and unity.

Several people walked together, and Xavier was afraid that it would cause a commotion, so he asked them to wear masks when they came in.

Plus, there were other people cosplaying them at the comic convention, so there was nothing out of place about them blending in with the crowd.

But even so, there were still many people who came to take photos with them and collect stamps.

"Hello, teachers. Can I do a stamp collection with you?"

At this time, a girl cosplaying as Hu Tao came over and asked politely.

The word "teacher" is a relatively common honorific title in the cosplay circle.

Yoimiya was a little confused and asked, "Stamp collecting? What is that? Do we give you stamps?"

Hu Tao was stunned for a moment. The costumes and makeup of these three people were very authentic, and they didn't look like novices at all.

How come you don't even know what stamp collecting means?

But she still explained very patiently: "I just want to take a picture with you, is that okay?"

"Of course!"

After knowing the meaning of stamp collecting, Yoimiya agreed generously.

Klee and Furina naturally wouldn't refuse.

"Thank you three teachers! Even though you were wearing masks, you seemed to fit your roles so well. It was so realistic!"

After collecting the stamps, Hu Tao bowed madly and gave the highest praise.

As we all know, praising a cosplayer for how good their figure is or how beautiful they look is not as effective as saying "it's so realistic".

"Thank you, you too!"

Yoimiya didn't understand the ins and outs of this, but she was polite and responded in the same way.

Seeing that Furina beside him was silent and even seemed to be in deep thought, Xavier couldn't help but ask, "What are you thinking about?"

Furina said with emotion: "I was thinking, I didn't expect the atmosphere of the comic convention to be so good. Although many people didn't completely restore us, I could vaguely see my own shadow."
