Chapter 203 - Chapter 203 Ocean of Drafts

"That voice sounds like… Cyno?"

Xavier recognized the voice as Cyno's and peered over to confirm it was indeed Cyno.

He was standing next to Kaveh, arms crossed over his chest, a look of helplessness on his face.

As for the current state of Kaveh's room, it was an absolute disaster.

"Oh my goodness, he's truly gone mad…"

Furina covered her mouth, somewhat disbelieving her own eyes.

The fans watching the livestream were also quite astonished.

"Holy cow, Kaveh isn't treating himself like a human."

"To be able to achieve this is also a talent…"

Xavier pointed his phone at the bedroom, and the room inside was now a sea of paper.

That's right, Kaveh had used an unknown number of sheets of paper to design his ideal building.

Most of these papers had been crumpled into balls and then thrown around the room.

Piled together, they had completely filled the entire room, making it difficult for Cyno to even find a place to stand.

Xavier risked being submerged to push aside the paper balls and entered the bedroom.

"I say, Kaveh, you didn't have to go this far…"

Xavier patted Kaveh's shoulder, wanting to offer comfort, but the moment Kaveh turned his head, Xavier was startled.

"What… did you say?"

Kaveh's eyes were bloodshot, and his face was ashen, like a zombie!

"It's terrifying! This guy must have gone mad and turned into a monster!" Furina shouted loudly, as if wanting to stir up trouble.

Kokomi murmured, "Is someone really that obsessive? If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, it would be truly unbelievable."

Cyno, standing nearby, sighed and said, "Xavier, you're finally here. I'm sure you've seen the situation. I was actually planning to ask you for help."

Cyno had come to visit Kaveh out of humanitarian spirit, thinking he might be able to persuade him.

But now it seemed he had thought too much.

"It seems the situation is really bad, poor Kaveh…"

Nilou also sighed, feeling sorry for Kaveh's situation.

"Heh heh, I knew it would be like this. How pathetic~"

The same words coming from Balladeer's mouth sounded completely different, full of sarcasm and mockery.

"You two are acquaintances, aren't you? Is it necessary to speak about him in such a tone?"

Xiao, leaning against a nearby wall, suddenly spoke, seemingly displeased with Balladeer's way of speaking.

Balladeer said indifferently, "If he doesn't cherish his own body, should he expect others to cherish it? How ridiculous."

Xiao closed his eyes, and his entire body flashed with a green light, disappearing from the room.

Perhaps he didn't want to argue with someone like Balladeer, and doing so would be meaningless anyway.

Although Xiao's personality was somewhat peculiar, his temper was still good; otherwise, the two of them would have had a fight today.

"Comrade A-Mao, I have to criticize you now!" Hu Tao suddenly came in front of Balladeer. "No matter what, Kaveh is our friend. How can you speak about him like that? Now that he's in trouble, we should take some practical action."

Balladeer snorted, "He's your friend, not mine. Besides, I'm very curious to see what your so-called practical action is. Can it restore him to normal?"

Hu Tao shook her head and said, "I can't do that, but this Hall Master can arrange a funeral for him, because based on this Hall Master's many years of experience, Kaveh is already terminally ill…"

Before she could finish, Xavier interrupted her with a flick to her forehead.

"You don't have to help, but can you please not make things worse?!"

Xavier was utterly speechless. He had expected Hu Tao to say something touching, but it turned out she just wanted to do business.

With the help of Kokomi's element power, Kaveh's mental state didn't improve much, but his physical condition recovered somewhat.

Xavier sat in the ocean of paper drafts and asked, "I say, Kaveh, what exactly is the problem you've encountered that has pushed you to this state?"

Kaveh, looking haggard and with dull eyes, said, "I want to create bionic materials and build the greatest palace, but I've encountered trouble…"

Although Kaveh was somewhat obsessed at this time, he was quite clear-headed about design. He pulled a draft from a nearby table and handed it to Xavier.

Xavier looked at the draft, stroking his chin and examining it for a long time: "Oh~ so that's how it is."

Hu Tao asked curiously, "What, do you know the reason?"

Xavier shook his head: "I don't understand it."

Everyone almost fell over. If you don't understand, why do you look like you do?!

Finally, Alhaitham stepped forward and took the draft.

After a glance, he deduced, "This is an extremely advanced design concept that requires the materials of element creatures as assistance, but Kaveh clearly lacks the corresponding element knowledge involved."

"Hmm… so what does that mean?" Furina thought for a long time but still didn't understand what Alhaitham was saying.

Cyno translated, "Simply put, it touches on Kaveh's knowledge blind spot."

Hu Tao waved her hand and said, "Oh, then you help him! You're roommates, right?!"

Everyone's gaze fell on Alhaitham; they thought Hu Tao was right.

"Sorry, it's not that I don't want to help him, but I'm powerless in this area as well."

Alhaitham's answer was very quick, and his expression was very calm, making one suspect he was lying.

After all, the two of them usually had a love-hate relationship.

Xavier was somewhat suspicious: "Really?"

"I have no need to lie to you. After all, if this guy dies in my house, according to Sumeru's law, I would also bear some responsibility."

"Okay, I believe you."

Xavier immediately changed his mind. If even Alhaitham, this rational fanatic, said so, what reason did he have not to believe him?

"Heh heh heh, what an interesting scene. Watching you all argue here, I certainly didn't come for nothing today."

Balladeer let out another mocking laugh, making everyone grit their teeth.

"You bastard…"

Furina clenched her fists, thinking that if she wasn't bad at fighting, she would have already fought him.

However, thankfully, Balladeer wasn't just purely mocking; he then pointed out a new path to everyone.

"If I were you, I'd go ask that omniscient and omnipotent God of wisdom, instead of just glaring at me here."

Furina's fists immediately relaxed, and she said excitedly, "Oh right, we can go find Nahida!"

Xavier thought that having Balladeer here wasn't completely useless; at least he offered a somewhat useful suggestion.

Of course, even if he hadn't suggested it, Xavier would have definitely gone to find Nahida himself.

Never mind, he'd grudgingly give him some credit.
