So in a few hours, Karin was forced to work overtime and contacted her superior about Kurokawa Saki's deeds.
They packed the man away and then interrogated him, naturally also contacted the local official forces: the public security for handover and information exchange.
After all, Interpol didn't usually catch people and even in this game, it still followed this rule. Unfortunately, Kurokawa Saki took the route of a sniper and her interrogation skills only barely passed, so she felt it would be better to catch the people instead.
It was Karin who had to suffer in the end because of this.
Within a few days, they have complete information.
But Karin had just realized that Kurokawa Saki's efficiency was extremely terrifying and their base was filled with people in just 2 weeks.
…
"This is the tenth one." Kurokawa Saki's lips twitched at the large number of missions that she received. In just 14 days, she had gone to 10 missions and had just completed the last one.
When Kurokawa Saki heard Gin being the most dedicated Winery worker, she felt that it was an exaggeration. But now, Kurokawa Saki understood that there were actually a lot of missions for them to do everyday.
Most of the time, it would happen at night time too.
Lower ranked members like her were basically being sent to do various missions frequently and could get a lot of money. It was basically the reward for doing a good job. Those without any ability were naturally sent as cannon fodder while those with abilities were given other options.
She was one of them because her sniping skills were extremely good.
She could actually reduce her mission frequency as Bailey didn't force her to do the mission. She was instead being asked whether she wanted to take it or not since she went on mission almost every day.
But she took all the jobs offered to her.
Karin even messaged her, asking her if she was fine with taking out so many people to them like this. Because if any of them escaped, then Kurokawa Saki's undercover career might be in jeopardy.
But Kurokawa Saki was calm.
She knew that unless she designated it, no one would be able to see these people. Besides, she basically treated them as points for her to earn.
During this prologue period, every kill will earn double the original amount, so Kurokawa Saki had earned more than 200 points. These points were naturally invested to disguise skill and also karate skills, so that her fighting skills didn't look that ugly anymore.
And Kurokawa Saki also noticed that the number of points obtained from killing hostile forces were 10 points and during the prologue period, it was doubled to 20. Some of them who were more valuable would be worth 15 skill points and doubling it is 30.
If the target is an innocent civilian, the skill points are only 5 and doubling it is 10 points.
But the premise is that they were Winery targets.
Kurokawa Saki had no interest in killing people for real.
She also increased her psychological pressure skills. Being locked by Gin's killing intent made her feel like she was about to die several times, so she had to pick this. Thankfully, she had some foundation to work under pressure thanks to her experience in school.
But it was relatively low.
After all, she was a big failure after graduation and could barely support herself.
Otherwise, she wouldn't be able to act!
Her body would end up trembling first.
In the eyes of the instructor, she was basically a gifted student.
Anyway, Kurokawa Saki secretly set a goal for herself: to become a big cheat in Conan's world and try to fill up as many skills as possible. She didn't believe that she wouldn't be able to do her mission well with her talent, so she will use this chance to get as many skill points as possible and then become a powerful agent.
*cough*
Well, if it was not possible, at least let her fill all the necessary skills for her to survive in the Winery.
Kurokawa Saki sighed and then noticed that her talent seemed to have changed.
…
Death Game Talent
Level: 2
Description: People whom you have killed personally will not die but become a 'ghost' who have to follow your order. There will be an illusion of their death in front of other people. During the ghost state, they could not contact anyone who knew them nor could they be seen by either the Red and Black party unless the host gave them permission.
Upon their death, the target will be imposed a 24 hours movement penalty, in which they couldn't move. This penalty could be directly nullified by the host's order.
The ghost can't harm the host and has to obey the host's order. In this form, they have a lot of restrictions (expand) and has to abide by laws. It's recommended for the host to share the information about their state to them as soon as possible.
Before the mainline starts, the ghost will have to help you for at least 365 days before they could fully return to the living world. Unless the targets are: civilians as they could be seen by specific people whom the player recognizes.
Be careful to avoid them being found as it'll increase your suspicion in the Winery as your target survives when they should have died!
After the mainline starts, the ghost may return to the living world at any time and the host may arrange it. But you may want to have a good explanation for this in case they were seen
Restrictions: Only Winery target, murderers on the run, and officially wanted criminals can this talent be activated.
Limit: 2 target/day
…
Kurokawa Saki looked at the talent description and her eyes lit up. It seemed that her hard work during this period had paid off.
She could now take two missions in a day!
Or at least, even if she had to kill more than one person, she didn't have to feel conflicted anymore.
Back then, she purposely waited until it was past midnight before taking action and nearly failed in order to refresh her skill.
But now, she has more error tolerance.
And with the increase of the skills level, she might be able to kill more people every day.
When Kurokawa Saki thought about this, she felt extremely pleased.
"Saki, even with your skills, it's better to be cautious," Scotland reminded when he saw her reporting to Karin after he had bundled the person away.
"I know." Kurokawa Saki pursed her lips. "Just during this period of time so that Gin can see that I'm a 'loyal' member of the organization."
Scotland's lips twitched.
Indeed, so 'loyal' that every target remained alive in the end.
He didn't know what Gin would do if he knew that all the targets given to Kurokawa Saki remained alive and well when they thought that these people had died.
"And… it's better for me to do it so that many people can stay alive rather than leaving this to other members of the organization." Kurokawa Saki shrugged.
