Chapter 27 - Killing

On the other side of the world, Kurokawa Saki also heard the notification. She remembered the gathering for the 4 people back then, but she forgot the result because of the killing between no. 11 and no. 10.

Now that they were all teammates… Can they really work together?

Kurokawa Saki is doubtful.

Anyway, that case will happen in a week and No. 2 and No. 6 had to think about how to get closer to the two girls first.

She also couldn't get involved anyway, so it would be better to prepare herself.

The mission location was indeed very far and Kurokawa Saki brought her own knife and some other small weapons, hidden carefully. It's more difficult to bring guns, so she usually asked Aunt Kira for help.

After all, there were times when the security was quite strict.

Kurokawa Saki looked around and immediately spotted Amuro Toru, who was acting as a waiter.

Kurokawa Saki: "..." How much does he like to act as a waiter?

Bourbon also noticed Sake after she entered the main hall. The boy was really short, barely 1.6 meters tall with shoes on. Coupled with his young face, he looked more like a teenager than a young man in his twenties.

He saw Sake walking inside, looking around naturally before blending in the crowd. The natural act made others unable to find fault with him.

Is he really part of the action team?

Kurokawa Saki didn't know that Amuro Toru was watching her. Even if she knew, she would not flinch and continued her acting.

The host of this family is the Tsukino Family. He was working in the medical field and recently achieved success in his research. The organization had helped him to research but the result was vastly different from what they requested, so Vermouth is here to talk.

If he couldn't explain, then what awaited him would be a bullet to his forehead.

Inside the banquet hall, uniformed waiters pushed food carts and carried trays through the crowd, while the elegantly dressed guests chatted politely.

The banquet's host stood in the center of the hall.

"I'm already here, Vermouth." Kurokawa Saki stood not far from Vermouth even though she wore the headset and carried a glass of wine calmly.

Vermouth was dressed as a beautiful woman. She chuckled and walked straight towards the host, Tsukino Ryotaro.

Kurokawa Saki saw Vermouth speaking a few words and Tsukino Ryotaro's expression changed greatly. It seemed that he was fearful and the motioned for her to follow him

Kurokawa Saki's eyes flickered and she moved in the similar direction but acted as natural as possible.

Through the gap, she noticed they entered the room beside the main hall.

Bourbon also came over and he stood in front of the other end of the door. They were both listening calmly through the earphones.

"... I have told you, the research result can't be controlled. It's already the best result like this." The man sounded impatient.

Vermouth was unmoved.

Kurokawa Saki and Amuro Toru were standing outside the door and stayed quiet as Vermouth negotiated with the other party.

"We want you to adjust the research's direction," Vermouth said calmly.

"No. This is already the best result and it wouldn't harm anyone…"

"I want it to be harmful." Vermouth snorted. She didn't like talking about medicine, but the Boss gave this mission to her, so she had to complete it until the very end. Looking at the man in front of her, Vermouth became even more impatient.

"I can't do it…"

"Then it couldn't be helped."

Bang!

There was the sound of a gunshot from inside and Kurokawa Saki arched her eyebrows. Why did it seem that Vermouth could handle it herself?

Before they could leave, the sound or rapid footsteps came and several people came.

"Kill them all, can you two do it?" Vermouth gave orders from the headset. She had heard the rapid footsteps too.

"Sure."

Kurokawa Saki smiled brightly and then took out two guns that had been equipped with silencers.

Bmp! Bmp! Bmp!

'One, two, three, four, five, six…'

Kurokawa Saki counted in her heart silently. After the main storyline started, her talent was strengthened once again to 20. It was just… Kurokawa Saki felt Karin would have more headache when she sent 20 people after this.

Her movements were very fast and decisive. In less than a minute, all 16 guards had fallen to the ground.

It was a mass murder.

Bourbon didn't even have any chance to speak nor to make a move and could only watch as Kurokawa Saki killed everyone easily. His fingers clenched to form a fist and he thought in his heart that even if there's an undercover agent from the Interpol, it had to be that Kawasa Maki.

There's no way this murderer could be an undercover agent.

If it was not that man either, then it would be someone else who knew the mission and made the arrangement in advance before the executor team could arrive.

"Vermouth, is it necessary to make such a big scene?" Bourbon asked, his tone was full of disgust.

"Ah, it's ok." Vermouth's voice came from their headset.

Kurokawa Saki turned around and tilted her head, still smiling brightly and dangerously. "What's wrong, Bourbon? It's time to go."

"Yes." Bourbon took a deep breath and turned around, his face was dark and there was a murderous aura around him.

Morofushi Hiromitsu was present and had already tied up the people who were sleeping. Yes, after Kurokawa Saki's talent was upgraded, the people who died will fall asleep on the spot for 24 hours and she always told her contact that it was a special anesthetic.

In any case, she didn't want to kill anyone.

But this was not the main problem.

Morofushi Hiromitsu saw Amuro Toru's expression and felt a headache.

He was absolutely sure that Zero must hate Kurokawa Saki very much.

How does he explain that none of these people died?

Well, Morofushi Hiromitsu knew that it was useless to worry.

Amuro Toru will know the truth in the future.

"Wow, you really kill them all." Vermouth had come out of the room and saw the scene outside and shook her head.

"How's Tsukino Ryotaro?" Kurokawa Saki asked.

To be honest, she wanted to be the one to kill him, but Vermouth was too fast.

This made Kurokawa Saki helpless.

"I killed him first. He's too annoying." Vermouth shook her head.

Kurokawa Saki narrowed her eyes. "Leave the target to me next time. I would like to be the one to deal with him."

"Alright, Sweetheart~."

Kurokawa Saki smiled brightly and then left in her own car. While driving, she took out her phone and messaged Karin about the situation, explaining her failure and then requested to protect the bodyguards whom she had faked death.

There's no need for a complicated one as long as they made an alibi outside this place for today.

She had already asked Aunt Kira to change the bodyguards' list.

After all, it was unlikely the organization would investigate these people even though they were designated targets of the winery thanks to Vermouth's words.

[This time, the CIA is the one who's busy] Kurokawa Saki put down her phone and then checked her body. Both Vermouth and Bourbon are intelligence officers and there's one common trait of these intelligence officers…

They like to plant listening devices.

Even though Kurokawa Saki was careful, her instinct was telling her that she should not speak directly.

Sure enough, she found one near her belt and easily crushed it.

[Why don't you let the FBI be the one responsible instead?] Kenan was dissatisfied with this matter. He wanted to get ahead of the CIA.

[Of course it's because Sake has just clashed against the FBI, so the CIA who knows nothing about this conflict will be the one to receive her~.] Aunt Kira blew kisses to Kenan.

Kenan rolled his eyes.

Kurokawa Saki chuckled and she made sure that there was no other listening device before checking the device in her hand. Hmm, while she did get close to Vermouth, that position could only be done by Bourbon.

Despite knowing his identity, Kurokawa Saki really felt that he's very annoying.

"I really want to kill Bourbon," Kurokawa Saki murmured in a low voice.

Morofushi Hiromitsu was stunned and almost shouted no to Kurokawa Saki. He had noticed that not everyone whom Kurokawa Saki killed became a ghost, so there must be a restriction.

"Is he a target?"

"No." Kurokawa Saki pursed her lips. "That's why it's just a thought and I'll probably not implement it."

"Yes." Morofushi Hiromitsu breathed a sigh of relief secretly.
