Eliza stepped toward Merlin with an annoyed, dissatisfied expression.
"Are you satisfied now?" she asked coldly.
Merlin let out a small chuckle, turned to her, and gave a slight nod. "Very satisfied. Now, let's continue the transaction inside."
Without waiting for her response, Merlin walked back into Eliza's office and sat down on the same sofa as before.
Eliza could only shake her head in resignation. Only now did she realize that Merlin was such an irritating and frustrating boy.
Strangely, despite being played by him, she actually started to like him—her view of Merlin had completely changed.
Shaking off her thoughts, she returned to her office. To make sure this boy didn't wander out on a whim, she closed the door and locked it.
Merlin: "..."
Was that really necessary? Was Eliza afraid he would run away?
"Then, I'll prepare the contract first," Eliza said as she walked toward her desk.
