After Lewis followed Shayla to Linda's office, he had the door abruptly closed in his face. Linda had made a snarky comment about Lewis being 'a guard dog'. Lewis had heard both women giggle at the comment, since then he could only hear muffled talking and the odd giggling through the closed door.
Many managers on the second floor and a few artists had spotted Lewis while moving around the floor.
Quiet whispers and staring had always been something Lewis disliked, still, today he tried to ignore them, having a peaceful time while working did not happen often.
This afternoon had been a rollercoaster of emotions for him so he was glad to be just keeping guard.
Lewis knew full well that Leroy had ordered him to take his wife home but she had refused, what else could he do, but let her do what she pleased.
Unfortunately a relaxing time on the job has to, at some point, end!
When Lewis's phone starts to ring, he pulls the phone from his black suit trouser pocket then answers Leroy's call.
'President'
'How's my wife?' Leroy asks, wanting to ensure she's not angry with him forcing her to leave earlier, he was only trying to keep her safe.
Lewis hesitates before answering honestly
'Um.. I believe she's well'
Leroy's brows furrow at this as he walks out of passion empires building
'What do you mean you believe Lewis? Are you not with her?'
'Uh um..'
'I expected you to stay with her Lewis! Why did you leave her home alone?' Leroy questions frustratedly. Was his order not clear enough or was his assistant just down right incompetent!
'I uh, you.. uh see' Lewis's stuttering frustrates Leroy even more than he already is so he snaps
'Spit it out man! I pay you to do a job Lewis! Not to be a babbling fool'
Lewis takes a deep breath before putting on a brave face, telling Leroy the truth
'Shayla's still at the office President Shark'
'What! Where are you then?'
'Uh, outside the office'
'I mean Linda's office' 'Shayla went to see her manager' Lewis stumbles out hastily before he hears the phone line cut off.
Leroy swiftly turns back and heads to the receptionists desk, asking
'Where will I find a manager called Linda Carter?'
The receptionists face pales once again upon seeing the SHARK at her desk. Again!
Was once not enough!
She types on the computer, sitting on top of the desk, searching for the member of staff the SHARK is now after. She can't help but think
'Why on earth does he want to see a manager? His known for stealing artists, not anyone else'
As soon as the name pops up on the screen, the lady clicks to see where Linda Carter is allocated in the building, her eyes land on the floor number then she informs instantly, in a soft tone
'second floor President Shark'
Leroy has the information he needs, he nods curtly at the woman then leaves. He presses the elevator button to go up then waits patiently for the elevator.
Carly has just returned from the underground parking lot, she's on her way up to the third floor. When the elevator stops at the ground floor she glances up quickly.
The quick glance soon turns into a bewildered stare! Carly's jaw involuntarily falls open.
The SHARK is standing directly in front of her!
Leroy steps in right beside her, ordering sternly as he lightly pushes the floor two button
'Stop catching flies woman!'
How could Carly have such bad luck today!
Carly immediately snaps her jaw tightly shut, biting the inside of her cheek to stop it from falling again.
The elevator ride is riddled with tension, Carly can't help but feel awkward. In such a tight space she had believed the SHARK would have made a on her, after her subtle winking earlier.
Instead all Carly got was a reprimand!
She couldn't understand, Was the shark feeling well? Men loved a woman with a curvy figure so why wasn't he taking this opportunity with her!
Leroy smirked when the elevator doors finally opened on floor two, he strolled out casually, taking his time. He was in a hurry to get to his wife but why couldn't he torture Carly in the meantime! Her ego would be bruised!
Meeting the SHARK was a thing to celebrate unless you were in his bad books, then you would want to hide for a very long time, so for Leroy to only reprimand her instead of flowering her with compliments, gaining his attention would hurt!
Carly could only second guess on her body! Was there something wrong with her? With her body? Did she somehow do something wrong?
This was a tactical mind game, the powerful play!
As Leroy owned the entertainment industry he had seen and used this being used, multiple times. It worked well when women thought to highly of themselves!
In reality this is how women become insecure, by making one feel inferior to others, it makes them less self absorbed!
When Lewis sees Leroy he stands up straight before bowing 'President shark' Leroy nods curtly then knocks on Linda's office door, when he hears 'come in' called he pushes open the door.
Linda looks up at the intrusion then smiles in greeting to Leroy before Shayla's body collides straight into him.
Leroy grabs his wife swiftly, catching her with his strong arms, so she doesn't fall. His woman is definitely unpredictable.
Shayla doesn't care about falling, all she wants is her husband! As soon as her body collides with Leroy's, her arms snake around his neck, pulling his head towards hers. Shayla places a passionate kiss on her man's lips, causing Leroy to groan and kiss her back.
Linda watches in awe at the couple in front of her, this is even better than the movie's!
Even though the couple have been together and officially married for a few days, one can see there's a passionate spark that ignites between them!
Linda could only wish that one day, she would find herself like these two!
Linda's admiring in awe ends abruptly though when Leroy's order penetrates the room while he picks up his wife, carrying her to the sofa
'Get out!'
Linda practically runs out of the office.
Her office!
She slams the door closed, just before seeing Leroy pull Shayla's top off!
Her cheeks are burning bright red in embarrassment as she runs straight past a stunned Lewis.
Linda had never been kicked out of her own office before, especially by Shayla!
