When Levi first arrived in this world six years ago, he spent the first half of a year drowning in depression. He already knew the fate of this world, knew the horrors that were waiting ahead.
But none of that mattered at the time. What truly terrified him was his immediate reality— how to survive the inevitable enslavement.
His transmigration had drawn the attention of a constellation. By sheer chance, he had received its favor and gain its avatar. That blessing, however, came with a curse— his soul now passively produced origin energy.
Normally, such energy was an incredible gift. But not for Levi. In the Kindlehart clan— the rulers of his region— sorcerers could sense even the faintest trace of origin energy.
If any of them caught so much as a wisp of his power, they would force him into a binding contract. That would mean slavery for life.
Levi wasn't the clever, scheming type. He often admitted to himself that he was better at being stupid than being smart. But the situation left him no choice— he had to think, or he would be chained.
So, using the small amount of points he had earned from serving Cecilia, he made a desperate purchase from the system— a leech.
In this world, the evil creatures known as Elderspawm had no souls. Their only instinct was to devour human's origin energy in order to create one for themselves. The leech he bought was like a husk— empty, lifeless, nothing more than a shell.
And in a fit of insanity, Levi grafted the creature onto his own body.
The leech immediately latched onto him, sinking into his flesh. From that day forward, it served as a living seal, constantly feeding on the origin energy his soul produced. For years, it drained every drop of energy his body created, slowly maturing as it did.
Now, six years later, the leech had grown into its adult form. It wasn't just a parasite anymore. It had become something else— to an extension of Levi himself. His other half. His incarnation.
His way to escape from slavery. And the way to survive his first plan, which was to die.

No matter the times he mentally prepared himself for this, the pain was still unbearable.
Looking down he could see a fine dagger jotting out of his chest, from the position he knew his heart was now nonexistent.
He collapsed, blood pooling beneath his still body.
No matter how many times he told himself to be ready for it, the pain was still unbearable.
Levi looked down and saw a thin dagger sticking out of his chest. From the angle, he knew— his heart was gone.
He fell to the ground, blood spreading in a dark pool beneath his body.
'So this is death? How dull'. Levi thought. When he lost his virginity to death he was unconscious, so he doesn't have the experience.
In the suffocating blackness that followed, he felt three faint connections tugging at him. One was weak and fading, one steady, and the last grew stronger with every moment.
He understood them immediately.
The fading thread came from his dead body.
The steady one came from the leech he had implanted in his body.
And the strongest pull came from the soul array that wanted to consume him.
He should have vanished completely. After all, he had been sacrificed. The array was calling his soul, dragging him into itself. But Levi was not about to let himself be devoured.
With a thought, he released the soul of his predecessor from the king piece from the inside his own soul. Then, using Spirit Transfer, he followed the steady thread— toward the leech.
The passage was suffocating, like forcing himself through a tunnel that grew narrower with every inch.
And then— he slipped through.
All at once, Levi felt tied to a body again. Not his own, but the body of the leech. The sensation was wrong— compressed, heavy, and suffocating. His soul struggled not because the vessel rejected him, but his soul was still in the shape of a human.
And also the body itself squirmed because it was wrapped in his own dead flesh.
But the leech had strength superior to an ordinary human as a Grade 0. Its twitching muscles pulled, strained, and finally tore through the cavity of his corpse's chest.
And so, where Levi's corpse lay, something new and dreadful crawled out— his soul wearing another skin.
This is the second stage of his plan.

After solving the immediate crisis of surviving the fate of being enslaved, he then focused on his future.
After numerous dead end he then recalled that he could buy anything as long as it was of this world— from the system using the point from serving Cecilia.
That's when he turned his gaze to the still fading soul of his predecessor and the leech.
And then he realized that the only way to survive was to get a proxy. So he bought the technique Last Courtesy from the system.
Last Courtesy was a technique that performed the last act of etiquette of a bulter.
Another word for serving the soul for eternity. Which means anchoring the soul to his soul canvas to serve it. Only this time Levi the rebellious staff, made the soul serve him.
He relied on his foreknowledge, and he knew that inanimate objects when fed with Origin Energy for a long time start to gain the properties of the owner of the origin Energy.
Which includes but not restricted to Life, this is one of the way artifact with intelligence are born.
And it was even more soul for Elderspawm who when born are merely soulless husk. If an Elderspawm only received origin energy from a single source for a long time. The chances of that becoming an Avatar of the owner of the source was a staggering 99.99%.
Even humans weren't an exception of that rule, this was the gods descended to the mortal realm.

After buying the leech all that was left was to find a technique that could transfer souls. And after three years of continuous labour he was able rake enough points to buy the technique— soul transfer.
So if the first stage of the plan was to die, then the second phase was to ensure his successful reviver in the body of the leech.
And the third...
