The maid waiting outside the door waited for a long time without seeing anyone inside, but that was normal. Some secret love affairs were settled here, which was tacitly accepted by everyone. If the price was right, she would not be an exception.

The door opened, and two people emerged, dressed in breeches, boots, and riding gear. Elizabeth's hair was neatly combed, her complexion rosy, and she looked several years younger, a dignified lady. Klein, despite his ordinary appearance, exuded an air of scholarly knowledge, making it impossible to ignore him simply because of his appearance.

Seeing the love in their eyes and their linked hands, the maid knew she had no chance of earning extra income, so she focused on serving them well and earning more tips.

"Please follow me, both of you."

The maid brought the two to the stable area, where they were received by the staff. He wanted to take Klein to choose a suitable gun. Since Elizabeth couldn't shoot and didn't dare to shoot, Klein simply took twice as much ammunition.

Arriving at the stable, she naturally chose the horse that best suited her and Elizabeth. The accompanying staff were amazed that the horse was so docile that it allowed a lady who was riding a horse for the first time to ride it, and even moved around consciously.

Elizabeth felt the jolt of the saddle, firmly planted in the stirrups, and gripped the saddle. She easily mounted the horse, while Klein, who was supporting her, looked at the shy newcomer with amusement.

"Pick up the reins and think about where you want to go. Don't be afraid, I'm here."

"good."

With the help of the staff, the two rode out of the stable and headed towards the forest opposite. From there, two gunshots were heard from time to time. The staff behind also rode a horse to accompany them to prevent any accidents to the newlyweds.

"See, isn't it simple?"

Klein and Elizabeth walked side by side, their horses moving together as if in sync, occasionally nudging each other with their heads, confusing the staff behind them.

"Yeah." Elizabeth obviously did not let down her guard and still held the reins tightly.

A squirrel was climbing up and down in the woods ahead, occasionally looking around, then jumping over to the chestnut book next door to search. Klein also raised his hunting rifle and aimed it there.

"Klein, let's not do that. That little squirrel's tail is really pretty."

Elizabeth felt a little sorry for the sight of this. She really liked the hair that was as shiny as black agate and the cute look.

"Listen to you, let's go and take a look."

Klein grabbed her hand and rode to the tree. He looked at the little squirrel on top, which was so frightened that it dropped the chestnuts in its hand and quickly ran down. It then came to sit on Elizabeth's shoulder as instructed, looking aggrieved.

"You can hug it and see. Everyone likes the lovely Elizabeth."

Elizabeth rolled her eyes at Klein, certain he'd secretly used some magic again. But she was delighted. Slowly, she let go of the reins and reached out to the squirrel. It jumped onto her palm and began to rub against it, working very hard.

Elizabeth also stroked the soft tail hair, which she couldn't let go.

The staff behind were also wondering why these little animals were so bold.

After petting the squirrel for a while, Elizabeth put it back on her shoulder, picked up the reins and continued forward. A black bird, resembling a crow, was perched on the treetop ahead.

"Come and practice. This is very simple. I'll teach you."

Klein leaned over and shoved the shotgun into Elizabeth's hands, not allowing her to make excuses. He helped her get into position, loaded the bullet, and aimed at the black bird.

"Breathe steadily and move your fingers."

There was a bang, and Elizabeth almost dropped her gun due to the recoil. The little squirrel shrank against her shoulder and trembled in fear. The black crow fell to the ground.

"My Elizabeth is so amazing! She hit the target on her first try." Klein clapped his hands. The staff behind him were also puzzled. The muzzle of the gun was raised, and she still hit the target. This crow must have bumped into it by itself. How unlucky!

Inside the castle, a beautiful woman in gauze looked at the scene and turned to look at the Fool behind her.

"When will you ever let me do this and control this crow to crash into the bullet?"

"Don't I always obey you?"

A plump woman in a white dress was also sitting next to the beautiful woman, watching together. Seeing the two getting excited, she quickly spoke up. "Pay attention, I'm still here, if you don't mind me releasing some supporting energy."

As she spoke, the beautiful woman lay on the table and gasped for breath. The furry black ears on her head kept shaking, and the gauze on her chest was pressed into two flat shapes.

"You really don't treat me as an outsider at all." The plump woman hugged the beautiful woman and kissed her lips. The dark claws also wrapped around her, squeezing out the heavy fullness.

Elizabeth, who was full of doubt, finally picked up the crow and believed it only after seeing the bullet hole on it. She wanted to jump up and cheer, but considering her age, she could only proudly maintain her excitement and calmly rode back on the horse.

"Keep going, practice a little longer, and then you can get a hound to assist you."

Klein pulled Elizabeth's reins and walked towards the sound of gunfire. As they crossed the ridgeline, they saw a wild boar ahead, ramming the trees with its long tusks.

Klein and Elizabeth stopped here. He stayed close to Elizabeth and asked her to hold her gun. The mad wild boar in front of them also made Elizabeth a little nervous.

"Take a deep breath and aim just above the center between its eyes. That's its weak point. You can do it. I'm here."

Crane leaned over Elizabeth to instruct her, asking her to hold the gun down.

Bangs rang out, and other gunshots rang out, aimed at the wild boar. They all hit the same spot, and ended up bouncing off each other and hitting both sides, causing the already mad wild boar to rush towards Klein and the others.

The staff saw the wild boar moving too fast and fired at it, but the bullets missed its vital parts. How could it be such a coincidence?

"Don't be nervous, I'm here with you."

Klein grasped Elizabeth's hand, raised his gun, nearly dropping it in nervousness, and aimed at the charging boar. Elizabeth, initially trembling, pressed herself against the gentle chest, then calmed down, her gaze fixed firmly ahead. Only the little squirrel hid behind him, trembling with fear.

Bang, bang, bang, gunshots rang out from different directions. The wild boar, bleeding from its forehead, collapsed to the ground, stopping five meters in front of Klein and Elizabeth. A staff member came over to inquire about the situation, then looked back at the boar. Surprisingly, the horse wasn't frightened. Good thing nothing happened.

The sound of horse hooves echoed as two men approached, rifles drawn. The staff rushed forward. "Duke Dantès, Miss Audrey, the matter has been resolved. No one was hurt."

"It's good that you didn't get hit. I didn't expect that someone would aim at that place together, and we bumped into each other by chance." A soft voice sounded, with a sense of comfort and calmness.

The blonde, blue-eyed woman with a delicate face was speaking. She had a tall, delicate nose, thin, rosy red lips, and large eyes beneath long lashes that still held a hint of girlish innocence. Her hair was braided and tied back. She wore a white shirt, a black jacket, and a long, pleated skirt. She sat sideways on her horse, her black boots in the stirrups.

Elizabeth looked at her beautiful face, her voluptuous, mature figure, and the youthful aura she exuded. She unconsciously felt a sense of inferiority and wanted to lower her head. Klein nodded at her with a gentle look, telling her not to do so.

Duke Dantes looked to be in his forties, with few white hairs on his head and a few wrinkles on his bearded face, which gave him a bit of the dignity that came with his position.

Klein greeted them nonchalantly, unfazed by the situation. "Duke Dantes, Miss Audrey, it's been a few days. This is my wife, Elizabeth. I believe you haven't met her yet."

Klein looked at Elizabeth, who was stunned, and put his arm around her. "Please introduce yourself to everyone. They're all very friendly."

Dantes and Audrey also looked at Elizabeth with smiles, looking very kind.

"My name is Elizabeth Keller, nice to meet you." Elizabeth's voice was not loud. She looked up at the two people in front of her. The radiance radiated by Audrey made her feel a little ashamed. They were all the same age, but the other party looked like she was about twenty-five or twenty-six.

"My name is Audrey Hall, and it's nice to meet you, too."

"My name is Dwayne Dantès. Congratulations on becoming Klein's wife. If he dares to wrong you, remember to come find me. I'll help you beat him up."

Audrey next to her didn't laugh out of courtesy, but she still smiled.

"How could that be? You guys should hurry up. Everyone in Backlund knows it's over."

Klein chatted freely with a few people, just like old friends. Elizabeth also gradually relaxed and blended in.

"I remember that the wizard was about to take you away for sacrifice. Fortunately, reinforcements arrived, otherwise you would have become part of the tribe's totem."

"You must have remembered the wrong way. That guy with green feathers is really scary."

The two chatted about their experiences in the southern continent. Elizabeth noticed that Audrey's face was rosy and her eyes were loving and hazy. Just as she was about to ask, Klein spoke.

"Is Miss Audrey feeling unwell?"

"No, I was just too excited. Just keep enjoying the hunt. Otherwise, time will pass."

"Then we'll talk about it another time."

Klein and Elizabeth continued walking into the woods, and the staff said goodbye and followed.
